Audrey Hepburn said:I wanted to jump in and share my thoughts on "The Terminal." It was such a fantastic watch! Honestly, it’s been quite a while since I’ve seen a movie like this—one that doesn't rely on constant violence, people killing each other, or excessive sex scenes, yet still feels perfectly suited for prime-time TV.
I was absolutely captivated while watching. I found myself laughing one minute and tearing up the next; it really hits all those emotional notes, even though technically it's categorized as a romantic drama.
I second that.
I’d just add one thing: I’d call it a romantic comedy too! There are so many funny moments sprinkled throughout, even if it does start out as pure drama.

But, oh man—I have to hand it to them for that soundtrack. I really didn't see that coming! Still, I knew there would be some sentimental vibe to the 😁 script
Personally, I never give a damn about what critics think because I am nothing like those "so-called professionals"...
Chloe Patel65, why the hate for Tom Hanks? Look, he isn't my absolute favorite actor either, but he actually handled this role quite well! He could have easily struggled with that heavy New York accent (since he's from a place like Brooklyn).
Has anyone else caught Terminator lately? I'm finding myself getting into such heated debates about personal taste... Personally, I thought it was absolutely fantastic! It starts out as pure drama, then transitions into bits of comedy and romance... And my favorite part is how you just never know what’s going to happen next.
The thing that totally fascinated me the most was that little can of peanuts!!!! A total bullseye on that one... 🙂

I really wanted to express that I live for meeting in person! There is simply no substitute for seeing someone face-to-face if you want to feel that actual spark—you know, that instant chemistry where you both just feel the vibe immediately. I have absolutely no interest in falling for someone based on some clever line they typed out online. For me, it’s all about that honest, direct eye contact; the eyes truly tell the whole story. And if they happen to have blue eyes... even better!
Indigo Girls said:I’m actually going to watch Gremlin tonight! Honestly, I completely blanked on the plot. All I remember is they’re cute little things, but then they turn totally wicked once it gets dark—or something like that. And they multiply incredibly fast. They are legendary 😁
Anyway, does anyone happen to know exactly when that movie was released? I have this nagging feeling it came out back in the last millennium 😁
Oh, I remember quite a bit (well, more or less)! My younger brother was absolutely obsessed with them.
I honestly couldn't get into this movie at all. I was really hoping for something much better, but it just wasn't there. Even Brad Pitt doesn't seem to have that same spark he used to have, and frankly, Jennifer Aniston's performance completely dragged him down.
driftingpilot54 says:> Personally, I was absolutely floored by Depp in Pirates. I truly believe it stands out as one of his finest performances. ----------------------------------- I couldn't agree more! Now, I wouldn't call myself a massive fan of Johnny Depp, but he fits this role perfectly. Between the makeup and those incredible facial expressions, you’d swear he was born to be a pirate. It’s just spot on!

If you think you’ve got the best beard out there, then go ahead and keep it! Personally, I can't stand facial hair. I always find everyone looks much sharper and more handsome when they're freshly shaved.

You should go ask George Bailey2—he’s basically an expert on this stuff.
I have to say, my weight loss journey is getting pretty interesting; I spent three hours walking around downtown today, then went ahead and treated myself to a massive plate of pasta, followed by a solid 2.5 miles jogging session this evening before sitting down to a slice of cheesecake and some peach compote. So, please, go ahead and tell me I'm totally normal... If I can't even crawl out of bed tomorrow because my muscles are so sore (it’s been months since I actually ran), I am officially blaming that cheesecake!
Penny Lane said:Look, if you truly find it impossible to go without eating, just try sticking two fingers in your mouth and then into a shell every single time you feel hungry. It works just the same way! 🙂
D'Arc said:Well, I actually took matters into my own hands and tried this on my own! It just made sense to me not to overindulge the day before or after. And honestly, if your main goal is to flatten your stomach, you might want to skip dinner entirely—I mean, if skipping dinner works, why wait? In my experience, having your last meal no later than 6:00 PM makes a massive difference since late dinners always seem to trigger bloating. Otherwise, everything the other ladies mentioned is spot on: stick to small, frequent meals and get moving with walking or running to target that midsection. severything really depends on how much free time you have and what kind of results you're looking for
The real issue is that I've come down with a nasty cold and a sore throat, so I'm currently drowning myself in honey, which—let's face it—is definitely adding extra calories!
dustyharbor7 said:Wait, could you be pregnant?,,,,???😁 If you are, you’re going to have to deal with nine months of waiting for that little belly to pop....😁 🙂
I might be! My period is definitely late, but honestly, since I haven't even been intimate in over a month—just living my life by pure faith—it's hard to say.
