Where can I find, buy, or... "borrow" these? (Mega-thread) :D

Lisa Rodriguez84 here. Just taking a moment to catch my breath and check in with everyone... It feels like the week has been moving at a breakneck pace lately. I’m feeling quite optimistic about where things are headed, though... Everything seems to be falling into place just fine. Hope you're all having a wonderful afternoon... kaže:
Maybe we should just cut that in half... right? 😬
I don't really need it. He can just carry it around like that, it won't bother anyone at all... 😉
Nicholas Chavez70 said:I find myself in a similar predicament, though if I were in your shoes, I’d opt for an actual boxer instead... regarding the valve, you can't exactly walk around with a heavy weight like that without drawing attention, seeing as the valve itself is perfectly legal, isn't it? I have every right to carry a valve in my pocket, and if the mood strikes me, I suppose I could even carry a fire hydrant...
😬 Fire hydrant!
Those pockets are massive; what kind of pants even are these... 😁

Or maybe...?
I think I get what you're getting at, but it feels a bit thin... plus, isn't that way too slow?
🤔
I can, I really can... Here we go... Here goes nothing... That’s about how it looks...

🤣
Anyway, I don't give a damn about handguns; I want something legal (did a little reading on the gun laws), easy to carry, and something that fits anywhere...😁
I think I’ll just go with pepper spray after all. I'm just torn between getting the spray canister or the gel version.
Each one has its own pros and cons. 😁
But man, imagine showing up to a concert and just spraying everyone with that stuff...🤣
I bet they'd remember a show like that for the rest of their lives. Or better yet, instead of using that fake fog machine, they could just blast some pepper spray...😂
Well, I certainly said it clearly enough... The ventilation... 🙂 Or what's that one called... that tough little flower that leaves marks on your skin, just like those... 😁 🙂

No, let's not get overly dramatic; how about a Korean director? No, actually, a Japanese one! A total horror masterpiece, but strangely soothing. Honestly, if they went the route of some low-budget indie thriller where they cast a thirty-one-year-old woman as the daughter or the sister—definitely not the mother—and then everyone just ends up taking out the old lady at the end 😍 :svrš: That’s it. If that happens, I don't need any of the other seven films. 😎
What have we learned from movies?

- A simple Cough is actually a sign of a terminal illness.
- A detective can only crack the case if they've been suspended from the force.
- A Man won't show any signs of pain while taking brutal hits, but he'll start shaking the second a woman tries to clean his wounds.
- One single match is enough to light up a room of any size.
- Even though we can aim at targets way beyond our sight today, people in the 23rd century will somehow lose that tech.
- All phone numbers in the USA start with the digit 5.
- You can pop any lock in seconds with a credit card or a paperclip—unless it's a door leading into a burning building with a kid trapped inside.
- There's really no need to say "hello" or "goodbye" when you start or end a phone call.
- You can see the Eiffel Tower from basically any window in Paris.
- One guy shooting at twenty people has a much better shot at killing them than twenty people shooting at one guy.
- Kitchens don't have light switches. If you walk in at night, just open the fridge and use that light instead.
- It doesn't matter if you're outnumbered in a fight involving martial arts—your enemies will just wait patiently to attack you one by one, dancing around menacingly, until you take down their buddies.
- Every morning, mothers whip up eggs, bacon, and pancakes for their husbands and kids, even though they never actually have time to eat them.
- Once lipstick is applied, it stays on forever—even if you're scuba diving with full gear.
- Cops are always assigned partners who are their total polar opposites.
- Cars involved in crashes almost always explode into massive flames.
- Even when driving down a perfectly straight road, you absolutely have to jerk the steering wheel left and right every few seconds.
- Honest, hardworking cops usually get shot about three days before retirement.

- The Police Chief is always a Black man.
- The Police Chief will always either suspend his lead detective—or give him 48 hours to wrap the job up.
- The more a man and woman hate each other, the higher the chance they'll fall in love.
- Any building's ventilation system is the perfect hiding spot. Nobody ever thinks to look there, and you can travel anywhere in the building easily.

- When paying a taxi, you don't even need to check your wallet—just grab a random bill and hand it over. It’ll always be the exact fare.
- When people are alone, all strangers prefer to speak English.
- Tucking your shirt in can make a man virtually bulletproof.
- If Germans are shooting at you, hide in a river—or even a bathtub; German bullets can't penetrate water.

Nathan Myers28 said:Look, if you're just out there boxing and all that nonsense—honestly, if you want to actually crush someone, you should head over to a Shaolin temple and train some real Kung Fu! If you ever find yourself facing five guys at once, you’ll need that kind of power. Just look at Bruce Lee—the man single-handedly dismantled an entire Japanese Bushido school style. And hey, if you really want to get serious about weaponry, grab yourself a metal nunchaku.
😁 total nonsense
Jesse Sanchez60 said:Good grief, you guys have certainly gotten spoiled... If you're dreaming of a massive festival, you have to be willing to make the necessary compromises...
With festivals like the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the talent bookers unfortunately don't have total creative control. They’re often answering to sponsors who dictate quite a bit of the direction... In this case, it’s clear that the sponsors aren't just shaping the visual identity, they're also calling the shots on the lineup. Since Apple and VIP are the primary backers, there's a lot of pressure to ensure certain headliners perform on the Apple stage... Because VIP provided the bulk of the funding, they get the biggest names on the main stage, but Apple naturally needs at least one major act on their stage too. You won't see them playing as a mere opening act for some indie band...
Everything makes perfect sense to me, and I honestly don't get why everyone is getting so worked up...
Look at Mr. Professional over here... What you're saying makes perfect sense. But come on, just let us have a little fun and get heated for a minute... 😁
There’s always a way to reorganize things so that everyone walks away happy... both the big spenders and those of us just chipping in a little bit... if we just approach it right... I know... Hey there... how's everything going?
Jesse Sanchez60 said:Let's be honest, most of you will probably be three drinks deep by 10 PM anyway. You won't give a damn about Iggy Pop being half-dead when the crowd starts surging... And let’s face it, half an hour before Sonic Youth hits the stage, everyone will be scrambling to grab a spot in the front row, without giving a single thought to the New York Dolls...
That is exactly what I've been calculating myself... 😳
Jesse Sanchez60 said:The only thing that really bothers me is how the organizers keep comparing us to those big European festivals... honestly, who cares about what's happening over there...
That's what I'm telling you...
Roger Newman50 said:The organizer claims:
"We barely secured the permit to run our outdoor stages until midnight; normally, the limit is 11 PM, which would have made the scheduling work perfectly. But since the headliners insist on playing last, overlapping sets are simply unavoidable. Besides, there are plenty of festivals with two live stages where headliner times overlap—take Frequency Fest, for example, with Franz Ferdinand and Belle & Sebastian. We really owe the existence of an American festival where acts overlap to VIP sponsors and Apple..."
Bullshit.
Forget those "contributions."
If they just cut out the mediocre bands, nothing would need to overlap... 😎
I don't care about "other festivals"... if I'm paying for this one, I want to hear everything I came for.
Have they never heard of tents? I doubt headliners would complain about playing their final set on the main outdoor stage and then jamming through their hits in an indoor tent...
Maria Campbell67 said:The way the staccato beats and those sudden exclamations overlap is just... wow! 🙂
😠 It’s enough to drive you crazy. Honestly, it reminds me of both Sonic Youth and the Dolls. 🙂

Lisa Rodriguez84 here. Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone... I hope you're all having a wonderful week so far. It’s been quite busy on my end, but always good to take a moment for a quick check-in... Looking forward to catching up with you all soon... kaže:

Honestly, I only really break out those kinds of things when I'm aggressively settling old debts in some gritty noir film—just kidding, of course. But in all seriousness, having ridden motorcycles for quite a while, I’ve found that wearing gloves similar to those has actually saved my hands on more than one occasion during a spill. I’ve got this full biker gear setup, too; if I ever get the chance, I’ll probably just lean into the whole Mad Max aesthetic.🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙂>
Are you part of a club—which one, exactly?—or just some guy on a bike...

Lisa Rodriguez84 said:So, according to that page, apparently it’s still okay to have.Article 35, Section 1, Subsection 1 states the following:
Look, if you’re over 18, the rules are actually pretty straightforward for once. You can pick up air guns, gas guns, or signal flares without having to jump through all those bureaucratic hoops or file a bunch of paperwork. It also goes for bows and crossbows, provided the draw weight stays under that 100-pound limit. They're also letting people grab pepper sprays—the kind that use non-harmful irritants—along with rescue gear, livestock management tools, or various other industrial and technical gadgets, as long as you're using them exactly how they're supposed to be used. Honestly, it's about time they cut some of the red tape on the stuff we actually need.
So, looking at everything we’ve discussed—and keeping in mind what the Law actually says—buying, owning, or carrying pepper spray and stun guns for self-defense isn't some illegal underground activity. You don't need to jump through hoops or wait for a permit to get them; you can just pick them up. As far as the legal definition goes, those devices that use a high-voltage current to temporarily incapacitate someone? They aren't even classified as weapons.
