I watched it today... they actually managed to outdo themselves (and some TV shows) in terms of sheer nastiness I just love this kind of idiocy—the gross stunts, the chaos, and all that messing around with people who have absolutely no clue what's coming their way 🙂
mjuza and Colin are exactly my kind of people 👍 everything else was barely worth a cheap t-shirt... though watching that lady move and work it was definitely a highlight those aggressive roses were really getting on my nerves true, and as much as I love how good Colin looks, he was playing it a little too dramatic, just a tiny bit too much
By the time news like this finally trickles down to us regular folks, it means the SARS outbreak is already spiraling out of control...
Today I heard about a case in San Diego, only for them to deny it immediately. Then I hear about one in Miami—turns out it was just a false alarm. It’s honestly not even funny at this point...
Good grief... I find myself listening to most of those bands again today, even though I was already obsessed with them at sixteen back in the day... So, what happened? Did you all stop listening, or have you just "evolved" past them? 😕 😁
It’s honestly a bit strange that we don't see this happening more often... It’s standard practice to have everything scripted well in advance—checking in with managers to see which track will kick off the show, or guessing which anthem will send the crowd into a total frenzy... And it isn't just limited to the music industry. If you only knew how many ready-to-go segments are just sitting in newsrooms, waiting for "something" to happen so they can finally run them...
You know, I think I remember it, though it's all a bit hazy through the fog... And honestly, your perspective would probably be totally different now. It almost always works out that way 🙂
Olivia Parker5 said:What’s the name of that Joy Division track where he sings "...walk...in silence....don't walk away...in silence..."? Soy just reminded me of it.
I honestly think his fans would give him a huge thumbs up 😁 😁 😁 😉
Actually, scratch that, just my bad luck😁 It keeps happening to me...🙄 We're talking about Al Pacino here, after all (though it doesn't really matter 😉)
it feels a bit sluggish to me it isn't bad, just a little slow for my taste
I can't really say if it's worth hitting the theater for, since I pretty much watch everything on the big screen regardless... I don't really pick and choose that much
I have a feeling Al Pacino fans would absolutely love this one
Douglas Phillips4 said:Sandy, looks like we have a few things in common: Cheese & Onion and Joe are my absolute favorite combo 🙂 I only buy Lay's like that, maybe some BBQ if they're out of these 😛 and I always go for X-cut! That's my go-to at home, but for the movies, you can't beat the classics—those insanely salty popcorn buckets and those watered-down sodas in massive cups
Oh, definitely! You were born on August 9th and I'm August 10th, so we're pretty close there 😉 (though I'm not sure about the year 😉). And yeah, X-cut is a must... those thin ones don't even feel like anything 😁. So, when are you taking me to the theater? Don't worry, I know plenty of ways to sneak in some real food so we don't have to deal with the overpriced junk they serve there. 😉
Mmm, delicious 😁 I just finished those paprika ones, and then moved on to a spicy chip—I can't remember the exact flavor, I'll have to check the bag later 😁 But when I was out at the beach, I discovered this cheese and onion variety... oh man, it was heavenly 😁 I don't really drink beer at the movie theater; I'd be too worried about bothering my neighbors with the smell But sitting here at my desk, a cold Coca-Cola or a Joe sounds perfect 😉
Movies (at least once a week), DVDs more often, and the occasional DivX night. All accompanied by a mountain of snacks and sodas. I know, you guys probably hate 😁 types like me. But I promise I don't crunch or chew loudly (that drives me crazy)... 😎
E, sorry (Megan Rodriguez44😉), just another quick little chat, but the shortest one yet—we're just waiting for Soylent to get back from that business trip. Once they finally hit this page... we'll have plenty to read by tomorrow 😁
Wow, everyone seems absolutely thrilled about this one! Personally, I found the movie just okay. It’s light, easygoing, and fun enough... I guess. That bit with the lady having testicles and a few other funny moments kept things moving... But I honestly don't get why it's such a massive hit. I suspect people might just be tired of all those high-octane action flicks filled with special effects, space battles, or general chaos... I'd give it a passing grade if you want something to watch, but it's definitely not one of the greats...
