What does it mean to be a true and good American? in Close to Politics ·
Rebecca Lee6 said:Hey everyone. Reading through these threads, I notice a lot of people chest-thumping about how much of an American they are. Personally, I see it differently. There’s really no need to constantly shout about your heritage at every single turn. To me, it’s enough to just love your country and take care of your culture, traditions, and language. If you find yourself abroad, just be a great ambassador for our people... act in a way that leaves everyone with a fantastic impression of America. And honestly, one of the most important things is not to push your identity so hard that it makes others feel less valued. That’s what being a good American means to me.👍

P.S. I feel this way about other nations too!

👍 👍 👍
Iranians caught 15 Englishmen on a spy mission!

This could be a solid excuse to kick off a massive new war. (The Americans can't, though—they're already too compromised after the whole Iraq thing.)

But the British? They can. It’s Blair's turn now. I guess that’s why they kept him in power for all those years without even holding an election! (What a joke of a democracy, right?)

Honestly, it doesn't matter how or where they grabbed them.

The only thing that matters is FINDING A REASON for war.

And START IT.

After that... everything just falls into place, I suppose?

Maybe women aren't actually less intelligent than men.

But, the fact is, the path from BRAIN TO SPEECH is just shorter for them.

It's scientifically proven!

8. The Chinese empire was terrified of Americans,
9. Tibetans also have American roots, I suppose.
10. The West just faked American history because they were jealous of American heroism and honor and stuff.

Was Jesus a liberal or a conservative? in Close to Politics ·
Captain Rubbish said:Just some pre-holiday political debate: do you think Jesus leaned left or right?

Since he stood up against the authority of Rome and the high priesthood, I guess Jesus comes off as a leftist. Plus, he kind of had that hippie vibe. 😁 But then again, the church that claims to follow his teachings is strictly right-wing.

His political messages seemed pretty mixed to me, but if you had to pick a side—left or right—which would you choose?

Jesus was a massive leftist and a total REVOLUTIONARY!

The greatest ever!

The question we should really be asking is when consciousness kicks in.

That’s basically where I was heading with this thread.

If that's the case—and I'm pretty sure it is—then why isn't abortion prosecuted the same way as murder? Because it totally IS!

Maybe our laws are all just pure hypocrisy?

Walk or die! in Health ·
stormylynx4 said:So does that mean your arrhythmias were just caused by stress, even if your heart was actually healthy?

For the most part—yeah!

A ton of arrhythmias start out being psychological, and then they turn into serious heart issues later on if you don't catch them early and get the right treatment.

Even with a pretty damaged heart muscle, I guess it's possible to manage things successfully if you follow the right steps and stay on top of your meds.
Walk or die! in Health ·
Two years ago, I was going through absolute hell with heart arrhythmias.

I had them constantly, I guess... just non-stop.

Everything from frequent extrasystoles—like 540 an hour—to ventricular tachycardia and even atrial fibrillation...

The arrhythmias would spike my blood pressure to 200/130 in seconds.

I saw top-tier specialists, guys who did all their training in the USA and Europe...

I spent way too much time in the ER getting defibrillated.

I was on heavy-duty antiarrhythmics like TRANGOREX and RYTMONORM, which supposedly fix things but honestly probably just wreck your liver and kidneys..

It cost me a fortune, seriously..

And it barely helped at all...
.................................................. ..................................

Then I went to see this old Cuban cardiologist. He checked me out and told me: "You HAVE to WALK! That’s your medicine. Cut out SALT, SUGAR, BREAD, RED MEAT, FAT... Get rid of all those antiarrhythmics and just take INDERAL (propanolol, a b-blocker) 40mg in the morning and 40mg at night... For the first month, walk briskly EVERY MORNING for 20 minutes. Next month, cut the INDERAL in half (20mg morning and 20mg night) but increase your walk to thirty minutes. Third month, drop the INDERAL to 10mg morning and 10mg night, and bump the walk up to 45 minutes. By the fourth month, stop taking INDERAL entirely; just have some valerian tea in the morning and go for a vigorous one-hour walk!"

I agreed with everything, but I guess I just didn't feel like walking in the mornings... I asked him if I could skip the brisk part, and he just said, "Walk or die."

I took him seriously, I guess. I started his regimen. Since that day, I've been walking briskly for an hour EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

After a few months, the arrhythmias just completely vanished.

I actually had a follow-up recently with a famous cardiologist. They ran everything—heart volume, echocardiograms, blood work, strength tests..

In the end, the doctor told me: "Your heart looks like it belongs to a 20-year-old! You might die a thousand different ways, but it won't be because of your heart...!"

Yeah. Big Pharma wants profit. It’s a business. I guess people just assume doctors, pharmacists, or researchers should work for free. Like they should live on thin air and be these perfectly Ethical saints who don't need a paycheck. As if it isn't okay to get paid for working with people, or examining them, or dealing with all sorts of biological mess—or even being exposed to radiation and various toxins while treating patients. That's supposedly not Ethical.
They should just do it for nothing and smile about it, too... obviously, night shifts should be free, and treating addicts (with AIDS and/or Hepatitis B or C) should be pro bono.
There will always be drugs as long as there are humans, because there will be diseases as long as there are humans. If you think you can just solve cancer, by all means, GO AHEAD AND TRY.
Millions of people died from pneumonia before antibiotics were discovered... millions... and that went on for centuries.

************************************

Look, health should probably be a bit more than just pure business....

I didn't say anything about doctors, though there's plenty to say about them. First off, most medical students are just kids whose dads have deep pockets, rather than people who actually have the brains or the heart for it..

Since med school is such a grind, these students are forced to just "sit in class" right when they should naturally be out socializing and actually living life...

They miss out on that part of their lives, I guess, and end up stunted for that period...

Then later, once they start working, they feel "free" and try to live out the life stages they missed while they were young...

(Do you even know how many scandals happen between doctors, nurses, and patients?)

So, they wander around, neglect their profession, and end up being the least competent experts out there...

But, luckily for them, the whole country covers for their ignorance and mistakes...

(Now someone's gonna claim I'm just jealous of doctors!)😁
Just a quick reminder for everyone... in Health ·
Household toxins. I guess. Maybe they’re everywhere.

Since it's National Poison Prevention Week, I guess... maybe we should actually pay attention to this stuff for once.
Healthcare workers just put out a warning to parents. I guess they're worried about something. Maybe?
Maybe they should just keep all those household poisons locked up. I guess.
Not for kids. I guess.

That’s decent advice, I guess, but people just don't pay enough attention to it.
I guess he's just obsessed with those slow-acting poisons, maybe. It's all about stuff that works its way through you over time... I don't know.
I guess there’s stuff in everyday hygiene products that just shouldn't be there. It's probably all messed up.
Cosmetics. They’re definitely killing off kids and parents too, I guess. Maybe.
Millions of people could be affected by this. That’s just how it is.
I guess we should probably talk about all those products people use every single day... honestly, it’s kind of ridiculous.
I guess some stuff just absorbs right through your skin and ends up poisoning you. It's scary, honestly.
Liver, nervous system, cancer. I guess. Maybe.

Michael Adams, the guy fighting for a healthy lifestyle and...
Maybe they’re seriously warning the environment about this one. I guess.
Fact:
I guess the bathroom is basically the most toxic room in most American homes. Maybe.
People are using deodorants that are basically just toxic sludge. I guess it's just common sense, but people keep buying stuff that's straight up poisoning them. Maybe they don't care.
Aluminum... I guess it’s linked to Alzheimer, right? Shampoos are full of that stuff.
I guess some toothpastes contain really harsh solvents that can mess up your liver. Maybe just be careful.
I guess that fluoride stuff causes bone cancer and loss, maybe. Just my two cents.
I guess those bone mass supplements and mouthwashes are just loaded with artificial crap. Maybe they should check the labels more often.
So, apparently aspartame causes brain tumors now... I guess. Maybe.
Sugar just triggers other types of cancer, and honestly, that's the worst part about it.
Most people just douse everything in perfume or cologne, I guess.
It’s probably full of highly carcinogenic chemicals. I guess.

I guess lab tests confirmed that one...
So, I guess some popular perfume has like 40 different chemicals in it that are supposedly bad news. Maybe it's true, who knows? Just sounds like more junk to deal with.
They're dangerous for the liver, but I guess the FDA still doesn't require anything...
Maybe perfume companies should actually warn their customers about what's in this stuff. I guess they really ought to.
All those damn chemicals. I guess they're everywhere now. Maybe we should be more careful.

The bathroom was just the tip of the iceberg, I guess.

What’s the deal with laundry? Even the detergents feel off lately. I guess.
They’re super toxic, honestly. They use the exact same chemicals you find in cheap perfumes, I guess.
Maybe just get some of those dryer sheets? I guess they're specifically made for the machines.
I don't know. Maybe I just feel like venting.
These wipes basically coat your clothes in poison. I guess... maybe they're just trying to kill us all.
I guess you should wear stuff like this... I mean, your body humidity probably makes it necessary anyway.
I mean, these chemicals just soak right through your skin and get straight into your system. I guess.
The circulatory system. I guess that’s probably the easiest way to handle your body. Maybe.
I guess they're just handing out cancer-causing chemicals left and right now. Maybe that's just how it works here in America.
I guess there's a huge risk for babies and toddlers here, because these...
I guess some products just trigger all sorts of allergies and disorders. Maybe they're just poorly made, I don't know.
The liver's working. I guess.

Kitchens are basically just collections of toxins too. I guess people just buy them without thinking.
I don't know, maybe those antibacterial soaps and products they're pumping out are actually something to worry about. I guess.
I guess they're using those chemicals that act like nerve agents, then...
I guess more dish soap just means even more chemicals being dumped into the mix. It’s all getting ridiculous.
Those perfumes that leave some kind of carcinogenic film on everything... I don't know, maybe they just shouldn't be used.
I guess the whole family is basically just ingesting dangerous chemicals every time they eat. Maybe.
Eating food out of stuff like that... I don't know. It's just bad for any families that have to deal with it, I guess.
They claim they’re buying organic, but then they go right ahead and use all those toxic products anyway. I guess.
For cleaning.

People are using terrifying amounts of it in their backyards, I guess.
I guess those pesticide and herbicide companies just don't care about the fallout at all. Maybe they really don't give a damn about the consequences.
Wishing health to your family.

Let’s talk about household poisons again. The really dangerous stuff.
It's not even the ones labeled as the villains. It's most people, I guess.
I guess there’s just zero info on whether perfumes and colognes even count. Maybe they didn't include it. I don't know.
Toxins. Just everywhere, I guess.

They probably have no clue that most deodorants actually cause problems. I guess.
Maybe they don't realize those scent wipes are actually for Alzheimer. I guess.
I mean, what actually causes liver cancer? People just keep buying that stuff regardless. I guess.
They sell these products every single day, just completely ignoring reality. I guess.
Manufacturers just flat out deny any danger from their products. I guess they don't care.
They’re just ignoring reality with these products. I guess they actually admit that...
They say those chemicals are in there, but they claim your skin won't even absorb them. I guess. Maybe.
It’s just nonsense. A goat's going to soak up every single chemical it comes into contact with, I guess.
Get in touch.

I guess that's just more proof, you know, with how they're putting all these drugs on the market now.
I guess those patches just soak right through the skin and go straight into the bloodstream. Maybe.
The circulatory system. I guess.

We weren't even talking about fake cosmetics here.
I guess all those different kinds of toxins just end up building up over time... maybe.
I guess they just start seeping out through your skin or something. Maybe.
It all shows up differently, I guess... like allergies, acne, eczema, whatever.

Look, just spread the word. Tell your friends to...
People just stay away from stuff like this. I guess.

What should I even use instead?
Start with laundry detergent. You have the option to
buy stuff without all those chemicals, like Seventh
Generation, but you could just make it
yourself.
Just grab the simplest soaps, maybe some home
made stuff from health food stores,
that actually use natural essential oils.
Ditch any soap containing toxins. Just find
simple olive oil soaps, like Heritage
Products.
Perfumes and colognes are a whole other mess. They shouldn't
be in the bedroom, or even stay in there long.
It’s not just poisoning yourself, you're polluting the air too. When
you're near someone wearing perfume, you might get
a headache without even realizing where that sudden
headache came from. Maybe you can't tell how strong
your own scent is, because after years
of using those toxins, your sense of smell is
just deadened, but everyone else can smell it and
get a headache from your perfume. Try to smell
natural instead of like a perfume factory.
If you really can't quit the habit of wearing cologne
or perfume, then look for ones made with natural
essential oils, or start learning how to make them
yourself from the oils you actually like. It might be a useful hobby
for the whole family.

Please, stop poisoning yourselves, your families, and
those of us who decided we're done being poisoned.

Big Pharma: A plague on humanity? in Health ·
The pharmaceutical industry has become a total cancer on society.

Instead of actually curing people, they just churn out these weird drugs that don't fix anything—they just mask the symptoms.

Ever wonder why we haven't found a real cure for high blood pressure, gallbladder issues, or most heart and mental health problems?

It’s because Big Pharma isn't interested in fixing the problem effectively. They want patients stuck on their products for life, just barely managing the illness. They just want to sell more aspirin, beta blockers, anti-anxiety meds, and endless other pills you have to take forever once you start.

It's basically becoming the standard rule now: make drugs you take from the first symptom until the day you die.

Finding an actual solution would be bad for business since it would drastically slash their profits.

I guess I can't say doctors and scientists aren't trying, but this massive industry ignores the best solutions. They just buy those scientists off or push them out of the way if they have to.

Remember when that supposed vaccine for tooth decay was found and dentists just bought it up and burned it?

What if it had actually gone mainstream? Think about how many dentists would lose their jobs. Or dental schools. Or the whole industry built around fillings, dentures, and anesthesia...

So, cavities need to exist just so some powerful people can keep lining their pockets.

Just imagine if some scientist discovered a cure for, say, cancer today. Like, something done in maybe 6 or 7 injections.

Do you really think a breakthrough like that would ever see the light of day?

Never. The pharmaceutical industry would ensure its destruction immediately.

Every cancer patient lives anywhere from three months to six years, and during that time, they spend insane amounts of money trying to survive. Between the meds, surgeries, gauze, radiation, expensive equipment, and doctor visits... all of that disappears if there's a simple cure.

That’s why it doesn't exist, and I don't mean because geniuses can't create it.

Greed—or rather, the hunger for power—is bigger than the desire to save lives.

Believe it or not...
