Bryan Scott4 said:The catch-and-release guys let the fish go

I know some people practice catch-and-release, but honestly, I still find it kind of cruel since they're being hooked in the first place.

Seriously, go take a walk, grab some Paxil, and find a life outside of this forum.

Oh, please, don't even bother explaining yourself. It’s probably just Polly Huber trying to defend her own reputation on these forums. I’m positive she’ll show up eventually, even in a country as chaotic as ours!

Look, I’m not interested in playing "who’s right and who’s wrong" with you. You can stick to your guns, and I'll stick to mine. Anyone thinking about going to see her should probably do their homework first and decide if it's actually worth risking their health.

p.s.
Fuck off

So, you’ve finally realized what I’ve been saying all along—she is CONSCIOUSLY DECEIVING PATIENTS about the medications she prescribes... which, if you ask me, isn't just unethical, it's straight-up CRIMINAL... but honestly, enough about that cow, I start getting worked up just thinking about it...

Anyway, what's the latest news over at Car? 🙂

I’ve never really understood the whole point of sport fishing. Killing animals just for... fun?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who sees what a total disaster Huber is! It's a good thing you didn't lose any money, because I'd love to hear what kind of excuse she'd try to pull if you had...

Hey Chris Morales7, how’s it going? I’m so glad to hear you’re loving it! Are you actually sticking to the plan every single day? I used to skip meals all the time, but I finally realized it’s way better to just miss one day if you’re really hating a specific meal rather than totally blowing your whole diet! Personally, I have to have at least a little bit of bread or some meat every day; I honestly can't stand those summer diets where most days don't even include protein or carbs. I think it’s a good thing I figured that out now, because it gives me a real chance to actually succeed this time. I’m planning on starting soon myself. I need to get some medical checkups done first, so it won't be happening tomorrow, but as soon as things settle down, I'm diving in. And this time, I'm keeping it a total secret from everyone!!!! :-)

Nicholas Chavez70 said:It wasn't just random soldiers, either; they were local traitors, war profiteers, and scavengers... The movie truly turns stomach-turning toward the end when we realize that even Hannibal participated in eating his own sister along with those subhuman creatures...

Man, whatever they are, they’re definitely animals. I actually skipped the ending, so thanks for the heads-up—I’d already seen enough once he started drawing that letter M!!!!

The title of this movie, "Scarface," is absolutely chilling. From a viewer's perspective, it’s actually pretty solid, especially how they depict a cold-blooded Hannibal coming to terms with his past following World War II. It starts with some terrifying stuff where thugs break into his house—his parents tragically lose their lives during an encounter with some soldiers during a sweep. But getting back to those thugs... they weren't there for three days straight, right? It seems like some of the soldiers went out hunting, but once hunger set in, things turned gruesome and they ended up killing his sister. OMG. On a psychological level, the movie is just devastating. I'm curious, have you guys seen it yet? Let me know what you thought about it!

Tachycardia or what? in Health ·
placidridge56 said:That sounds like classic "white coat syndrome"—where your blood pressure spikes the second a doctor walks in, but everything is totally normal once you're back home. I've been there myself. The first time it happened, my doctor clocked me at 180/105, but fifteen minutes after leaving, I checked it myself and it was down to 130/80. Even my stress test came back perfect. It’s pretty clear that managing anxiety and staying chill is the real key here.

By the way, those basic anti-anxiety meds are basically child's play, and the stronger stuff can get you hooked fast. If you ask me, the best remedy is just getting active—hit the gym, go for a run, whatever gets your heart pumping. And honestly? You've got to work on staying positive. All those dark thoughts usually just stem from the daily grind and constant stress we deal with.

Yeah, they've already given me that diagnosis. I definitely get jittery the moment I see medical staff 🙂 They prescribed those pills for that reason, but if I'm being honest, I don't think I even need them. It feels like everyone is trying to label me as "sick," but I'm not buying into it 🙂 I've tried looking for actual anxiety symptoms in myself, but I just don't see them. I sleep well, I eat well, I stay active, I handle all my responsibilities, and I actually socialize quite a bit. Sure, I might be a little high-strung and certain idiots really get under my skin, but I think that's just part of my personality 😁
This is where it's headed... 👋

Now this is exactly the kind of topic I love diving into! :-)) I haven't actually worn a Holter monitor myself, and I don't really deal with dizziness or any physical symptoms, but every single time I sit down in my internist's office, my heart starts racing like crazy and my blood pressure spikes to 170. It settles down quickly, but those "episodes" definitely happen.

Honestly, I’m convinced it’s all psychological (I’ve always had a bit of a phobia of doctors), especially since I feel totally fine—no dizzy spells, no headaches, nothing. Plus, whenever I check my pressure at home, it’s usually perfectly normal!

I need to undergo a minor outpatient procedure, but they keep turning me away because of these spikes. Does anyone have any advice? I’ve tried taking Norvasc (10 mg) and some tranquilizers (three times a day), but they haven't done a thing. Should I give Praxiten a shot instead? 🙂

I gave it two shots, but honestly, it just wasn't hitting the mark 😬 she says I really need to make better choices next time 🙏
Weird pressure fluctuations! in Health ·
Hey everyone,

I’m not even sure how to put this into words, but I’ve been dealing with some really weird blood pressure swings lately and wanted to see if anyone else has gone through something similar.
Basically, my numbers bounce from totally normal to sky-high—sometimes hitting 170. The frustrating part is there's no pattern; one time it’s my systolic that’s through the roof, the next it’s my diastolic, and it just keeps shifting.

But honestly, that’s not even the strangest part. My readings vary depending on which arm I use, except it’s never the same arm twice (?!?). One minute the left side is higher, then the next it’s the right, and vice versa!!!

To give you an idea, my pressure can plummet from 170/100 to 130/80 in about twenty minutes.

Some people tell me it could be a thyroid issue, while others swear it’s psychosomatic. Personally, I’m leaning away from the stress explanation—if it were purely physical, wouldn't it stay elevated constantly?

The whole thing with the arms is just ridiculous to me. Like, how can it be high on the left one time and then high on the right the next? WHAT THE FUCK?

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening?
