Nancy Ward37 said:A hallucinogenic effect? That sounds pretty sketchy to me because alcohol just doesn't hit like that. Are you absolutely sure someone didn't spike your drink? A reaction like that seems way over the top. This is why I always say: never leave the bathroom until you've finished your drink, and for heaven's sake, don't leave your glass or bottle lying around for anyone to mess with.

Honestly, I think there might be something going on here too. You're probably a bit too young to be dealing with consequences this heavy from drinking. Even though Springfield has a reputation for its heavy drinkers. Still, you made the smart call by deciding to quit once you realized you were losing control and couldn't tell when to stop. Personally, I've never understood why kids these days feel the need to drink until they pass out. Can't people just have a few drinks to get in a good mood without going overboard?! Good luck, and check back in every now and then so we know how you're holding up!👍 🙂
How do I stop racing thoughts? in Psychology ·
This has been weighing on me for years... thoughts of suicide and all that... BUT lately, it’s just constant. I try to pull myself together because I think about my family, and I know things would be a total mess for them if I left, so I back off for a bit. But then, before I know it, I’m right back in this dark hole again. Is this depression or what the hell is happening? Just now, I was looking at old photos of my dad back when he was still healthy, before everything went to hell during the war, and seeing him now... it just makes me want to end it all. I can't face thinking about any of this. What’s even left of a person after all that? Honestly, sometimes I just want to take all this rage and anger out on whatever random thing is annoying me in the moment. I don't know... if this gets me locked or banned, so be it.

And to those of you who want to say, "Go ahead and do it, see if I care"—tell me exactly how you'd suggest I go about it.

Bryan Jones82 said:As usual, this thread is filled with total nonsense regarding marijuana. Look, I used to smoke back in the day too.
Nobody is going to drop dead just from lighting up a joint, but let’s not kid ourselves—marijuana isn't harmless.
It’s not like everyone who smokes ends up turning to heroin, but let’s be real: the chances are definitely higher than for someone who has never touched the stuff.
When it comes to mental health, I’ve personally seen plenty of cases—mostly paranoia and various types of anxiety—that were triggered by weed. Sure, there was likely an underlying predisposition, but the marijuana was the catalyst.
If someone chooses to smoke, that's their business. But if someone is smoking every single day? In my book, that puts them in the same category as someone who hits the bottle every night.👎

That’s exactly the point, though... people always claim marijuana is just a gateway to the needle, but honestly, it all comes down to the individual. It’s about character—whether a person becomes an addict or not. Everyone needs to know where to draw the line.

Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
Intense menstrual cramps.
What can one even say about this on a forum dedicated to Wellness rather than
clinical medicine? From a purely physical standpoint, macrobioticians would tell you the most common culprit is excessive acidity within
the body. But is that really the whole story? If that were
true, all it would take is a few dietary tweaks.
However, if we accept the idea that the body is composed of Prana—that every single organ
perfectly KNOWS its specific function in maintaining its own integrity,
sustaining the body as a whole, and fulfilling its role in the survival of the human race—then entirely new
avenues for healing begin to open up. Any conscious personal rejection
of the primal purpose of one's gender, any aggressive act against one's own
feminine nature, or even the subconscious neglect of one's sexuality—which
might be triggered by ancestral memories embodied within you due to your mother's own
painful experiences regarding her role as a woman and a mother—can
trigger painful bodily reactions at the exact moment that reminds you
of your feminine essence.
Is there a therapy for this? Absolutely, and a highly effective one at that. It requires willpower and
devotion to that very truth which has been suppressed or undiscovered—the truth that
you, Christian Sanchez44, are currently struggling to overcome through your pain.

I don't mean smoking several times a day, just maybe once a week?
Or is that unhealthy?

Then again, what's even healthy these days? We're all just living for the moment...

Honestly, what's the harm? If people want to smoke, at least they're choosing something natural over synthetic chemicals.🙂
Goranin, you’ve hit on a really deep question here.
It all comes down to how we access this information.
If we accept the idea that every organ in our body radiates and interacts with an energetic field—which is basically the collection of that organ's memories and everything that might eventually cause illness—then there is a perfect dimension of consciousness within us capable of detecting it. This process is known as Identification.
Anyone can give this a shot. I’m genuinely curious to hear about the experiences of anyone who follows these steps.
Here’s the breakdown:
1. Look up some anatomy diagrams to see what a liver actually looks like and get a feel for its functions.
2. Visualize your liver right there in front of you.
3. Relax your arms and reach toward that mental image—imagine submerging your hands into your
visualized liver.
4. Keep your breathing steady and relaxed throughout.
5. You should feel a reaction in either your left or right hand, such as: tingling,
stiffness, warmth, pain, or something else entirely.
6. Here is how to interpret it: - if the sensation starts in your left hand, it indicates some form of inflammation.

- if the sensation is in your right hand, it’s a sign of weakness or chronic
inflammation.
- if you feel pain in your right hand that travels from your fingers through your palm and
up toward your elbow, the liver is likely damaged.
These are just basic instructions for curious beginners starting their journey of self-discovery—a path toward true awareness.
Actual healing requires much deeper insight, knowledge, and skill, especially when taking a natural approach. We all have an innate "all-knowing" within us; we just need to unlock it, which is really more of a seminar topic anyway. If you feel like you need some guidance, I can perform a precise analysis of your liver health and provide specific therapeutic recommendations. Just write a few sentences describing your situation and send them over to awareness-recovery@gmail.com

I wish you the best of luck—most of you are more than capable of doing this!

Everything should be done in moderation, though that really just comes down to the individual..
If someone is "level-headed" and knows how to keep things under control, then lighting up once in a while isn't a big deal. But if they're doing it every single day? That's where you run into trouble...
You just can't paint everyone with the same brush...

Personal loan ads: Legit or scam? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’m curious if anyone here has actually tried getting a loan through those online classified ads... people claiming they can help you navigate the whole process and actually get the money approved. I'm trying to figure out how this works because they keep telling me there aren't any extra fees—that the interest rates stay exactly what the bank would normally charge. The reason I'm asking is that I'm hitting a wall everywhere; about two and a half years ago, I ran into some financial trouble and ended up on a credit blacklist for a week. If anyone knows a legitimate way around this or has some advice, I’d really appreciate the help.

Ugh, I actually wrote out a full response yesterday too, but lost it all because of one clumsy click. 🙂 Oh well, I guess there’s always another way to approach this topic.

redwalker63 said:I think you’re talking about a kind of square or space that feels unique, unrepeatable, and unpredictable to every single one of us. It's not one universal plaza for everyone, but more like a personal sanctuary where we all stop when we're exhausted, broken, or just feeling lost. It's that moment when you start questioning the whole point—wondering if this labyrinth even has an exit, or if the entire purpose of the "maze of life" is simply to wander through it and truly know it, rather than just trying to find the way out.

Yes, exactly that. 👍 A maze where we search for meaning within the movement itself, rather than looking for an exit as some final solution—because, honestly, there might not even be a solution to find.

As for Energy, I don't know what else to say. I've been reading up on it, and I think you're onto something when you suggest it might just be one of the three components that make up unknown or Life Itself.

I'm pretty wiped out right now 🙂 and I'm chalking that up to a lack of energy, so I'll leave it at that for now... I'm just glad to see you're still posting here. This place is still my favorite corner to write in, even if it seems like swiftcobra15 has moved on from this thread... 🙂

What’s your take on how much of ourselves we actually live on through our descendants? I tried to come up with something profound, but I couldn't get past the idea that no matter how much of "us" they carry, it's still ultimately their own presence and their own life (as part of a vast multitude of lives). I couldn't quite wrap my head around it (so I'm concluding that sometimes it's better to just keep a smart silence 🙂).

I really shouldn't have gone that hard... now I'm just sitting here at home alone while the rest of the crew is out having a blast... total rookie mistake.
I'm definitely scaling back on the drinking... though there's no way I'll be able to keep up with my buddies for the next week given how much they can handle!
Everyone keeps telling me to drink water... so fine, I'll go grab some... but I'm not sure if this strawberry Jane is actually going to sit well with me right now!

That's easy for you to say... it's happened to me too, but once this nasty hangover passes, you'll be right back to drinking just like before.
