So, flu season... I got my shot just a month ago and now I’m feeling totally wiped out. I can't even describe the sensation, but let's just say I've got those classic "mild" flu symptoms: runny nose, sore throat, achy bones, and this dizzy feeling. No fever, though. Honestly, I have no clue if it's actually the flu or just a nasty cold. But if this is the flu, then screw that vaccine. It's pretty obvious I caught the flu despite being vaccinated. Great, a shot that doesn't even work 😠 🙄
Let me say this one more time: what’s even the point of an old forum archive if you can’t actually open it? Maybe that absolute wreck of a boss knew how to fix it... though honestly, maybe this feedback will finally motivate him to hit the gym and do something about the shape he's gotten from staring at a screen all day.
From what I understand, marijuana is classified as a soft drug. There’s definitely a reason why experts have categorized it that way.
As for legalization, I don't have any issues with it. Alcohol is perfectly legal, but that doesn't mean everyone is out there chasing it. It really comes down to how you're raised; parents are the ones who should be guiding their kids on the risks of alcohol, drugs, and even smoking.
I was honestly so let down by that movie. It didn't live up to the hype at all, and personally, I felt like it was missing all the action that made the first one so good.
Since Eric Wells3 asked for a bit more detail on what I said earlier, here’s the breakdown:
Drug addiction is essentially the pattern of constant or frequent substance abuse. An addict is someone driven by such an intense craving that they feel an uncontrollable urge to use drugs—they simply can't fight the impulse or hold themselves back. Drugs are pharmaceutical products that can lead to this kind of dependency, whether they are found in nature or created synthetically. They generally fall into four main categories:
1. Opioids (like opium, morphine, or heroin) 2. halucinogen (including marijuana, hashish, mescaline, or LSD) 3. Stimulants (such as cocaine and amphetamines) 4. Sedatives (like barbiturates, tranquilizers, or sleeping pills)
So, bottom line: marijuana IS a drug.
And look, I’m not just quoting some textbook here. This is coming from my own perspective. I come from a family of generations of DEA agents.
"she walks through the city all alone thinking she knows everything there is to know that's what they call being down that's what they call being out" or "I dreamed up this circle I built this circle I smashed this circle And scattered it to the wind The wind thinks, the wind knows everything you and I know like nothingness and like somethingness like a forbidden act and like a free pass like "no-no" and like "da-da" like a party and like pure boredom" or you are my entire heartache you... are... my... entire... heartache.. passing by, the scent of the night brushes against me and whispers: wake up, get moving you are my entire heartache.....
Does anyone know of any cool websites where I can find some cute little graphics for an avatar? If you have any recommendations, please let me know. 🙂 Thanks! 🙂
I’ve never really had an issue with Tom Hanks. Honestly, he comes across as pretty asexual to me—like, I just can't picture him kissing anyone—but he doesn't try too hard to project those "I'm a total sex god" vibes either. That’s actually why he works so well in these kinds of movies. He has this sort of boyish, innocent quality about him... which fits perfectly with that idea of having a "vast, endless soul... like the Great Plains" (I know, that sounds incredibly cheesy, feel free to roast me. My mom is obsessed with literature and tends to quote stuff like that all the time), though in this case, it felt more like a wide-open Midwestern vibe.
Anyway,
The part that really got me was when he said "television"🙂.
I’m a firm believer that the soul picks the body that offers the best curriculum for the lessons it needs to master during a specific lifetime. As for the exact timing of that choice—honestly, I haven't a clue—but I do think it selects a vessel capable of actually lasting. It wouldn't make much sense to inhabit a cluster of cells that's only going to hold out for a month or two. Then again, living for just a few days or weeks after being born doesn't seem right either... What could a baby possibly learn in such a tiny window of time? 🤔 😕

My gigabyte (MSI MAG series) lets me bump the clock speed up to 300 MHz in single megahertz increments within the BIOS, so I’m thinking the Epoxy should be able to handle that too 😕
In everyday conversation, we often use the word faith as a shorthand for religion. It’s totally normal to hear someone ask, "What's your religion?" and get an answer like, "I'm Catholic, Protestant, Muslim," and so on. I honestly don't think that psychologist had any ulterior motive; they were just following the standard way people talk when they label themselves by their group—like identifying as Catholic—even if they don't actually follow or even fully understand what the Catholic Church teaches. 🙂
fadedpanther8 said:I wanted to jump in here with a few quick questions: Is it okay to get vaccinated if I’m feeling a bit under the weather? Like, maybe it isn't full-blown flu, but I’ve got a runny nose and my throat feels weird—not exactly painful, just sort of tight or scratchy, if that makes sense. Also, I don't think I have a fever, but I haven't actually checked with a thermometer and I don't feel particularly hot either, so I'm just not sure... Any advice?😕
If I remember correctly, I had a cold that same week and couldn't get my shot until I was feeling better. You should definitely check in with your doctor first.
