They were just one with nature, plain and simple. 🙂
The first American settlers were actually religious exiles from Europe looking for a place where they could practice their faith without being persecuted. Later on, the greedy adventurers showed up, and honestly, they’re the ones to blame for why so many Native Americans chose conflict over trying to live peacefully alongside white society.
Still, centuries of idolatry had a deep impact on them, making it hard to embrace what was truly meant for them; they found "firewater" from the "silver horseshoe" much more tempting.

Thanks, but I’ll pass. 😛
Like I said before, I actually feel for the Native Americans. In my opinion, they shouldn't have tried to fight back against white colonization with force, even though it was incredibly brutal. I think their struggle stemmed from the fact that their religion was centered on idols, which led them astray in so many ways.
I'm not saying the white settlers weren't flawed too, but at that time, people were arriving in the USA fleeing persecution in Europe, and God had His own people established in these lands.
The Native Americans really should have embraced true Christianity, which was already present in this region—unlike in Latin America.
Jack Harris3, your writing isn't quite hitting the mark for me, but there's definitely room for discussion here. 🙂

What on earth are you tripping about? Did you smoke something crazy?🙂
Growing up, I read a ton about Native Americans. I always felt a real connection to them, and it honestly breaks my heart how brutally they were pushed out of their lands.
But, looking back, I can't help but think that maybe the tribes of the Great Plains should have tried to adapt to the new way of life more than trying to fight an uphill battle against overwhelming force. That resistance ended up costing them everything.

"Movie buddy"?! "MOVIE BUDDY"!!?!?!🙏
Anyway, I caught a glimpse of some people earlier and, honestly, it didn't really hit the mark for me—it definitely wasn't the life-changing experience everyone made it out to be.👋
I just finished watching Playing by Heart, and man, it blew me away again. Honestly, I think it might be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen... which is a bit weird because I don't usually go for those heavy romantic dramas, but this one is just on another level... It was playing at AMC, and it’s actually the first movie I've watched where I didn't feel the urge to nitpick or change a single thing about it. The cast is incredible, especially Angelina Jolie... On Yahoo Movies, it has an audience rating of 4.7/5, which is more than enough reason to give it a watch if you haven't yet..
Alex Martinez4, this track is absolute perfection... honestly, I knew for a while that Krueger would pull off something legendary with Santana, but I only just picked up the album today. As an album, it’s fantastic, but that specific song? It totally rocks! 😁 🙂
I don't think Hillary was actually bad... what really gets to me is that cliché Al Pacino has leaned into so hard... you know, that exhausted, cynical cop with a murky past and a totally conflicted moral compass...🙄 I mean, he’s still a fantastic actor, but we've seen that specific persona played out way too many times before...
By the way, this "white" noir version didn't disappoint at all compared to the original movie...
I happened to catch The Blair Witch Project on Rocky II yesterday, and honestly, I’m still shaken up. I don't think any movie has ever truly rattled me like that one did. It was just three people lost in the woods who eventually stumble upon some creepy house... absolutely terrifying. There were no aliens, no mutants, no witches, and no ghosts—just them and the darkness. It was haunting.

🙂 🙂 🙂 Yeah, exactly—intellectual, Platonic, spiritual... that's pretty much what I was thinking too. 🙂 Anyway, you already know my vibe.
It’s funny how that works... people who act like they’re on some pedestal, judging everyone else—without even knowing them—and trying to force them into boxes far below their own. 😕 🙄
No matter how much "enlightenment" someone thinks they’ve achieved, we still need to give others the breathing room and freedom to find their own path without being lectured constantly.
P.S. I’m a fan of Baphomet 😘, and honestly, they write incredible stuff. Some folks just haven't been around long enough to realize that. Baphi salutations 👋
