Besides, I guess users should actually be happier when there are more moderators active on a specific sub-forum, because that usually means the place is being cleaned up from off-topic junk more regularly and someone is actually keeping things orderly.

How many people are inside me (not talking in that weird LjES way, obviously) versus how many are in others, or maybe the two of us are actually one, or even three? We’re just used to coexistence being a duo thing; that’s just how our culture works. But then someone wakes up, makes their coffee, lights a cigarette, thinks to themselves, "Ugh, just another boring Tuesday," clicks on Life for Two, and what do they find? All these different kinds of communities they couldn't have even imagined! And honestly, that’s the real strength of Life for Two; it isn't just about two people! It’s actually so much more than that, just like any other subforum, even if it doesn't look that way at first glance. Just think about it.

The inbox capacity increase isn't some individual thing they do one by one; it's rolled out to groups all at once. The fact that you're still sitting at 200 is likely just some glitch in the system, which will probably get patched eventually, and then things should reset back to the set 300 limit.

The Film moderators have an inbox for stuff like this, and honestly, Oštrić didn't ban you personally—plus, you've been around here long enough to know the rule that someone else's bans or warnings aren't your business.

The forum's system is kind of a mess when it comes to capitalization in usernames, so it doesn't really tell the difference between big and small letters. Like, you can't even go looking for someone named Blabla if there's already a BLABLA account out there or something like that.

So yeah, MoRon and Moron are basically viewed as the exact same handle by the system. 🙂
And look, it’s not like you're just stealing a nickname or anything, I guess, if you actually want that specific one. Since the guy who owns it hasn't logged on in like 15 years and you're actually active here, we sometimes just approve those kinds of changes, so it's all good.

Regarding the user silentpanther2—look, you're right about his activity levels, or rather his lack thereof, but I actually took a look at his profile and all his old posts (he’s got over 100 of them floating around here), and honestly, I don't think it's fair to strip him of his handle just because he hasn't been hanging out on the boards lately. So, yeah, we aren't making that change.
I'm just laying this out so you know how we handle similar requests that might pop up after this.

As for your own situation, please, do me a favor and stop trying to make clone accounts while you're sitting out your ban. If you keep trying to bypass the rules like that, the next time you get flagged, we'll just have to extend the suspension on your main account.

I mean, sure, he hasn't actually posted anything in 14 years, but that doesn't exactly mean he hasn't been lurking on the forum all this time, you know? He could've been hanging out on his profile for over a decade just reading everything, sending private messages, and staying in the loop without ever actually typing a single word out loud... maybe.

We’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out, I guess, but honestly, there isn't really a way to fix this kind of thing through some automated system or whatever. It’s all stuff that would have to be handled manually, and we just don't do that—we never have, really.
I mean, I think it’s pretty vital that everyone actually takes a second to think about what kind of username they’re picking for the forum, just so we don't end up dealing with these kinds of messy consequences down the road.

But hey, regardless of all that, once his handle gets changed, he won't be popping up nearly as much in search engine results when someone types in a full name and surname like he is right now.
