It’s funny how fast you can go from being called a "Putin propaganda mouthpiece with blood on your hands" to some "neurotic, fascist Ukrainian Nazi." 😬
So, the latest two-year deal—which Expedia snagged after beating out two other bidders, I guess—was actually published in The New York Times back on January 18th. It’s worth about $4.2 million, excluding tax. Apparently, New York City put in a request for 33 vehicles, including one high-end ride described as being "like a BMW 5 Series, a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, a BMW 5, or something similar."
If anyone actually feels like doing some digging, check The New York Times from Jan 18, 2018.
You’re constantly pushing buttons and leaning hard into hate speech, mostly targeting people from Canada and Mexico, just to pick fights. It creates way too much work for us.
You finally crossed the line with that nasty outburst in the abortion thread. I was actually debating whether to just hit you with a partial ban or a permanent one, but I settled on a 500-point penalty for hate speech. That landed you a 7-day timeout.
Then, the second you got back, you jumped right back into the usual rhetoric. Based on the overall vibe, you earned another 100 points and a day off, but since your previous 500-point penalty hasn't even expired yet (it wraps up on June 6th), you’re now sitting at 600. That means a 14-day suspension.
If there's any mistake here, it's probably that we let your outbursts slide for way too long.

So yeah... Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page QuotePage 🙂
As always, I'm being inclusive. Just how I am deep down, not because I'm trying to be 😉
To your misfortune, I had a few drinks and felt like being polite. Not talking about specific people, just forum users. And I guess I've got a soft heart. 😁
Whatever, we love you 🙂 Regarding those warnings lately, you've mostly been getting those tiny 5-point ones, so it’s not really worth whining about.
Anyway, which one of you two actually took me out in Ukraine?
By the way, there's also a thread on Ukraine over in history / VPiT with more sane moderation where you probably won't run into these kinds of issues.
Hmp... might be him, but whenever I try to dig up his old handle, my subconscious just throws this at me instead, almost like some weird omen or something:
I mean, I'm not really sure how some big-shot regular could just casually clone an account like that, being all simple and low-rent. It's probably just some fake... some bottom-feeder...
I swear, I practically need a Xanax if I log on more than twice in a single day. 🍿
Which is pretty much irrelevant when you realize how fast time just slips away, and we're all just getting older and older without even noticing it.
Man, you really just reminded me that it’s almost the anniversary of that one time some "distinguished" forum veteran sent out a mass BCC private message to everyone in the Politics subforum. I can't recall the exact subject line, but I remember vividly how everyone got hit with their own specific brand of hell—basically a personalized, scorched-earth CV of why they were too pathetic to survive the forum, wrapped up in some pretty memorable insults.
I can't quite place who the main instigator was, but it feels right to mark the anniversary of that whole ridiculous spectacle.
Just a fitting little song to play in memory of that guy; we all miss him, I guess.
There’s a massive difference between calling someone an idiot in the heat of a heated debate and basically announcing, “Yeah, I know I’m about to get banned, but it’s totally worth it to just absolutely wreck you.” 🙂
You don't have to take my word for it, but that's just how it goes. If I were you, I'd just hit that ignore button. Honestly, it’s a lifesaver when people start getting under your skin.
BTW. Whoever decided to flag you was being incredibly gentle, because usually, a Card from someone like that stays on your record way longer than a month.
Stop being so dramatic, you know exactly what the real issue is here.
Nobody’s actually going to start sweating the small stuff just because someone was looking the wrong way at the wrong time during a busy shift; it just gets wiped away and forgotten.
But when some guy decides to dump a load of total garbage, and then people react by giving him a taste of his own medicine before finally filing a report—usually followed by that classic "why do you let this happen?" routine—that’s just straight-up trolling. It drives everyone absolutely insane.
