The Wicker Man in Movies ·
Great movie

It’s one of those films I’ve been chasing my entire life

Back when I was just a kid, I saw some documentary about ancient pagans and there was this one clip from this movie tucked inside

I spent fifteen years hunting this thing down before I finally sat through it in 2003.
Absolute masterpiece.

Just a heads up—watch out because there's an 87-minute cut and a 99-minute version out there.

I've got it on my hard drive and on DVD🙂

uh, I don't think we're looking at the same picture here

you're thinking of that shot with the water 😁 from the beginning of Braindead—but I'm talking about that whole dismemberment scene at the end of Day of the Dead

Thank God I skipped that one 😁😁😁 because honestly, even watching 2001: A Space Odyssey on a ten-dollar budget felt like a total nightmare to me 😁😁😁 brrrrrrrr

I guess we were all supposed to find this movie terrifying when we were kids

Honestly, I thought it was just boring—way too drawn out and not scary at all😢
Unfortunately, I didn't get around to watching it until I was already well into my 20s😁😁😁

I don't even know anymore myself 😁
I've got a massive pile of screenshots—around 300 of them—but I can never seem to remember to actually name them when I rip them from movies

I think it might be

Terror firmer

She’s just... incredibly beautiful and totally out of her mind

The absolute best movies 🙂
heheh

I open up this forum and what do I hear? "Paint It Black" starts playing immediately.

Full Metal Jacket FOREVER 🙂
Looks like a remake is already in the works
bluefalcon15 said:I mean, how else would it work? Is it actually messing with your day-to-day life? (sorry for bugging you, just asking because I’m dealing with the exact same thing)

Yeah, obviously it messes with me... I've been late to my college lectures because of it, and at work, I'm constantly taking extra breaks

how am I even supposed to justify being away from my desk...???

I'll show up to class right before the professor walks in, only to realize I have to bolt for the restroom immediately

Even just a standard night out turns into a total nightmare if I haven't been careful about what I ate earlier that day

It used to happen all the time—like, I'd see a girl I was actually interested in😬 and suddenly, boom, I need to find a bathroom right this second

it's gross

but since I started watching my diet, things have been better🙏
