Watched it back on February 27, 2016 gave it a solid 6/10
was watching on my tablet 😁
can't quite recall the details... the quality was pretty rough—either a low-res stream or some crappy TV rip... and I was just using a 9-inch tablet honestly, wouldn't sit through it again
I’ve been hitting at least 10,000 steps a day on my phone for over a year now... honestly, sometimes I’ll head out around 10:30 PM just to squeeze in another 3,000 or 4,000 steps to close the ring. you should give it a shot too it actually works
I can’t believe I actually let myself drop the ball and stop posting for an entire month all because of that ridiculous NASA alien rip-off The only part worth watching is the retro aesthetic they nailed in the first half but then things just fall apart... including the writing the plot just doesn't have enough teeth, honestly and the monster? Totally underwhelming

Personally, I don't even bother going near any threads where his name pops up. I’m running away from that cross like the devil himself.
I have zero interest in bringing drama onto the forum.
The Ekatra movie... yeah, the sequel actually holds up quite well enough. As for the triumvirate and the fourth one... honestly, I have no words. Just no comment. It’s exactly why people like me get a little spooked by sharks and the deep ocean... movies like this don't help.
I think I caught Arrival in theaters back in '96, if my memory serves me right... Had the Contact VHS at home too. I’ve got the book in English, though I haven't actually sat down to read it yet.😢
European policy—which, frankly, seems completely lost when dealing with the growing presence of Islam, especially the more aggressive and ultra-conservative imported varieties—is basically just trying to sweep these massive issues under the rug to maintain some kind of fake sense of domestic peace.

I decided against opting for that credit moratorium option since I really didn't want to deal with those pesky added fees. At this point, I think the best thing to do is just take this as a lesson learned and try to be a bit more disciplined across the board.
So, what's the play here? Think I could pull in some extra cash over the summer to chip away at this debt
I really went overboard with my spending this year—I picked up about 145 fiction titles and maybe 50 non-fiction books... and yeah, quite a few of them were pretty pricey so now I’m basically training myself by wandering through bookstores without actually buying anything 😁 I’ve definitely gotten some practice in cut all my expenses down to the absolute bare minimum this is actually the first time I've ever found myself in this spot since I started tracking my finances at age 22—well, technically since I was 13 when I started keeping records but hey, luckily I'm not totally in the red because of the book habit; I can always sell some off for nearly what I paid the main thing is just breaking the cycle
plus, I still have a couple hundred dollars in credit card debt from those book hauls 😁 that I need to clear by the end of the year, and then I'll be set
basically, when you find yourself squeezed for cash, you have to change your habits stop buying the stuff that dragged you into the gutter starting right now... at this very second you won't see the results immediately, but things will get easier eventually it's just like trying to lose weight or dropping extra pounds you just have to watch it every single day

For me, within 24 to 48 hours, things were so much better it felt like nothing had ever happened—though, full disclosure, I downed the entire course of 60 pills.
I did 3 pills in the morning and 3 at night for the first 4 days, then dropped to 2 in the morning and 2 at night for the next 3 days, and finished off with 1 in the morning and 1 at night until the box was empty.
First I've heard of it. Is this some kind of chronic thing or what? I mean, I remember dealing with this stuff maybe 20 years ago... I used to worry if I’d even be able to ride a bike with a standard seat, but I didn't actually buy a bike until 2008. I'd been wanting one for years. So, yeah, I've basically had hemorrhoids for 20 years guaranteed.
Anyway, look at this: Special Warnings
In cases of acute hemorrhoidal disease, using Advil for symptomatic relief isn't a substitute for addressing other specific anal issues. Treatment should be short-term. If symptoms don't clear up quickly, you really need to go get a proctological exam and figure out a new treatment plan.
S onim black guy 😁 Haha Man, hearing the Spice Voyagers soundtrack just drags me straight back to 1997 I can literally see myself in high school—just getting out of the shower, drying my hair, and settling in to watch some TV Young, handsome 😁 zero problems, except maybe those terrible grades I pulled in physics 😁
New post incoming—and honestly, I’m feeling pretty relaxed lately. For the last few days, I’ve just been sinking into various series and those deep-dive PBS documentaries—you know, the ones like "How Art Began." And then there's that phenomenal series, Cosmos... 😁 The Beatles and Voyager 😁 It’s been great—no effort required, no unnecessary tension or arguing.
Man, when I first sat down with this about 15 years ago, it was absolutely incredible Revisiting it a few years back... honestly, it didn't really hit the same way... Still giving it an 8/10 though
Mark Cruz15 said:Why is that? Since when did it become such a massive sin to just notice an interesting movie and watch it on a broadcast channel? Besides, the subtitles on American national networks are twice as literate as those amateur fansubs—definitely a huge plus for anyone who relies on them.
I get where you're coming from... but you're only half right take those "professionals" making subtitles—they're often just English majors trying to pay off their student loans by selling subs to pirates... I’ve actually been involved in some translations myself once or twice—you watch a thing, then you go back and make a decent subtitle for it...
CBS is a professional network, sure, and their graphics and subtitles are great for people with vision issues but honestly, I'd love to catch Stalker on CBS... or maybe some Kurosawa films I've previously watched with English subs... stuff like that. But waiting around for some random person to decide when to air a movie feels pretty pointless to me
And also, some of these translators have seen their own styles show up on local TV stations... I can't speak for CBS specifically, but other networks definitely lift translations straight from the web... it's not like they have actual staff working for them to do that kind of work😁
I remember back in '94, I think it was that FX movie about the triple murder trick... piece of cake... total cakewalk😁
I haven't actually sat down to watch the movie on TV in maybe 20 years or more Back then, I used to record stuff just to have it—to watch later, I guess... I know for a fact I recorded Ben-Hur on VHS back in 2003 and I haven't touched it since, haha
