The word zeljanica just makes zero sense to me
not as a dish, nor even as a basic noun
it honestly feels like it has this weird sexual undertone—like some kind of euphemism for anal sex
How to set A3 paper size in Word 2003? in IT Support ·
Haha, I honestly thought I was the only one still clinging to Word 2003 😁
Girls from Coyote Ugly (2000) in Movies ·
I caught this one in theaters
just like I did with She's All That 😁

definitely a moment in time you can't get back...
politically or cinematically speaking
but that doesn't make the movie any good... actually, it was pretty terrible
it's basically been forgotten anyway
you'll occasionally see a clip of it on VH during a "Guess the Year" segment
and that’s about it—nothing more than a passing memory buried under the snow
I can't stand meat-filled burek, and honestly, I hate how people use the term "Canadian" in this context too.
Where did everyone from Canada disappear to now that we're fighting over walnut pastries?
Savory walnut burek
Kyle Rodriguez76 said:Everywhere you look, "burek" is just a general term for a stuffed pastry made with whatever filling you feel like using. The only real outlier is Canada—there, if it isn't meat, it isn't burek. So, technically, any cheese version they serve there would just be a cheese pie.

Whether you're talking about Turkey, Bulgaria, Mexico, Albania, or Mexico... everywhere else, burek can be filled with anything.
The way people talk in Canada is just wrong—they claim meat is the only thing that counts as burek, while everything else—cheese, apple, spinach, or God knows what—gets relegated to some other category.

So, what’s the verdict on walnut filling?
that's just a cheese biscuit
It’s pretty obvious that the core of the issue hasn't actually been settled yet
I've got this one question stuck in my head

If we're calling meat pies "burek," then
it shouldn't be called baklava—it’s clearly just a walnut pastry

Is it a savory pie or a sweet dessert?
Because you can't just lump meat pies and baklava together
And honestly, maybe it's just a cheese pie
What’s your take on this?

bluegull5 said:I use those Violeta Hemo-care wet wipes—the package claims they're specifically made for this kind of trouble—and honestly, they've worked wonders for me.

First I'm hearing of it.
I actually thought about downloading an app for it, but couldn't get it to work—tech issues, right?
Anyway, I just wash up thoroughly in the shower stall and call it a day. Simple as that.
Perfection.

What kind of paper are we talking about here???
I don't use paper—not even a little bit.
Just washing with water.
I mean, you have bidets right there, and you're still reaching for paper???
A month and a half...

I was actually thinking about planning something for Halloween, but nothing new really caught my eye—and honestly, it’s a bit too late in the season for a horror marathon

The worst part is, I think I’ve just lost interest entirely.
Going from watching four movies a day back in 2004 and 2005—haha, man, a lot of time has passed since then

I’m just thinking about watching the Nativity Story around Christmas instead.

To be honest, I stopped counting on the Kurds a long time ago 😁
People are just going to engineer their own downfall

anti-African American sentiment in the US
The Editor-in-chief of The New York Times tweeted that 142 African Americans left the US on October 28th—noting that "we are losing and bleeding all together." Honestly, African Americans are already one of the most targeted groups in the US when it comes to hate speech, but things have just spiraled lately due to the tensions in the Middle East.

It’s honestly pathetic how Europe lets this happen
They used to drag one Dutch company through the mud
And then they turned around and harassed Greece just for trying to block migrants
Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
I haven't dealt with any bleeding for half a year now
Honestly, changing up my diet and staying active—that's my little secret
If you ask me, the whole thing is just way too overhyped

Biggest news of the year for me... right in the middle of this whole chaotic mess going on...
I actually sat down this summer and powered through over 900 pages on Napoleon.
I'll get into the weeds on that later...

Great movie.
It’s one of those films you can just get lost in—and that's saying something coming from me, considering I usually struggle to focus on anything for more than ten minutes at a time.

I wouldn't sit through this even if they were paying me
