I finally sat down and watched The Last Temptation and Superstar Just finished off the Zeffirelli film version of Jesus of Nazareth last night Honestly, it was a solid 10 out of 10—just an incredible movie As for those first two, I can't quite remember what rating I'd give them
Pick a history book... I mean, the absolute gold standard on a specific subject... a book that’s been proven to be the definitive authority on its topic Then you start quoting from it—actual historical citations from that exact text
And honestly? It feels like being interrogated by the FBI... they’re Googling everything, cross-referencing page numbers, and nitpicking because an image isn't exactly 800x600 pixels Just because some guy decides he’s decided a certain historical figure was a fascist Even when the leading expert on that entire era, that country, and that specific war says, "No, actually, he wasn't" And then there's me—I quote the book, and suddenly I'm the one getting grilled We're talking about a book that's been considered the best-written account of the Spanish Civil War for fifty years And what am I supposed to say at that point? How are you even supposed to trust people like that when they're arguing over things I don't even study or claim to be an expert in?
lonetrucker4 is a terrible moderator and KLCK is incredibly politically biased it’s just not right
I managed to save myself by taking a partial ban and honestly, life on the forum is better this way
I see people whining about losing 50 points, meanwhile, I sat there quietly through one-day bans that cost me 500 points all at once I realized I was risking my entire standing on the forum just for two or three subforums—definitely wasn't worth the trouble plus, you have to weigh every single message to make sure you don't accidentally "offend" someone and then comes the infractions again so yeah, it's probably best if we just step back I mean, what do I even need this for in my life? if a vote ever comes up to recall them, give me a shout
History is my life History.com is basically my homepage I’m reading up on history every single day Honestly, history makes up about a third of my actual job
And look, I’ve officially asked to be banned from this sub because of Smith
Once you guys get rid of him, I'll be back It won't be some massive blow to the site's traffic 😁 since I don't really have the time to write long-winded essays anyway I'm just adding my name to the long list of forum users who feel sidelined, harassed, and persecuted—not necessarily by Smith himself, but by that whole leftist mindset running the show
And what about those movies set in deep space or vacuums? The audience won't be able to breathe because they'll suck all the oxygen right out of the room... that’s basically 14D technology for you. Ticket sales are tanking, apparently.
So, I actually just cut my previous list of movies short I managed to break the ice with a couple of pretty obscure sci-fi flicks Level 16 Orbiter 9 Plus two horror movies The Curse of The Audrey—which, honestly, I’ll probably never be able to remember the name of correctly And Vigil Vigil Vigil Vigil looks like the best one out of the bunch
Haven't seen it I don't really get it But honestly? I'm kind of glad the movie flopped Making $25 million but pulling in only 190k That’s the direction we need to be heading Just keep hitting them where it hurts—their wallets If the woke crowd wants them, they can have them Even they aren't actually watching; they're just pushing an agenda
They should just change the names, turn it into pure fiction, and shoot whatever they want... success would be guaranteed then
The movie is just mindless junk—totally forgettable Ali it does have a few flashes of brilliance here and there Still, that doesn't really save the whole mess
I watched an incredible movie the other day It was that one about the fighting near Stalingrad from 1993, I think Between that and Die Hard—man, those are some of my all-time favorites
I can talk about pretty much anything But honestly, every time a call comes in from an unknown number... and there aren't many of them anyway... I get this wave of anxiety. I just start worrying that it’s some bad news—it’s a lingering habit from back when I was constantly bracing myself for the worst
Honestly, I’m just thinking I could probably handle four like, Dina, Wrong Turn, Scream 5, and that new Napoleon movie and actually sit through all of them in a theater😁
I’d give Attack of the Killer Tomatoes a 1/10 at best. Haven't bothered with the others, to be honest. 😁As for Rubber, it's probably worth checking out the trailer—but honestly, that’s about all I’d say.
