True, the battle for second place in Group B could turn out to be quite intense. However, as we've seen from both the Schumacher era and now the Vettel era, fighting for second place just doesn't carry the same weight as chasing the championship title. 😁 Looking at our own situation in Group C, where C Clark currently sits in 4th, he could easily pull level with the leader in a single round. Suppose the points in the next race were distributed like this: Clark earns 5, Marley gets 3, Philip takes 2, and I snag 1 (which is entirely plausible). We would then find ourselves with Clark, Pan, Philip, and myself all tied at 13 points, while Marley trails at 10 just one lap before the finish. Not only would those top four be deadlocked, having to settle their advancement amongst themselves, but Marley—despite being in fifth—could still potentially leapfrog everyone to take first if he wins and Cheetah finishes second. It’s pure madness. 🙏
In truth, I must say I don't quite grasp the critics who complain about this group format. Whether you advance or get knocked out, the system works brilliantly. 🙏
What kind of order are you talking about? Are you implying that it matters to Scot, or Nick, or Anderson, or even the ghost of Stalin where the FCC moderation team decides to host a specific thread? On this occasion, you won't be receiving a warning for trolling, but consider this a heads-up: that style of expression won't fly here on the FCC forums. If you feel the urge to ask or say something again, please do so in a manner that isn't trolling or insulting.
I am locking this thread due to trolling implications and a general failure to follow the FCC guidelines regarding thread creation.
Nick said:• Please format your titles so it is clear who you are complaining about and why [PDF filename - moderator username - issue]. This ensures complaints are more visible to those intended to see them, leading to faster responses. In the opening post, provide a concrete reason with an explanation and include links to the disputed posts.
• Vague threads where the core issue is unclear cannot be resolved and are subject to being locked.
• Complaints filed in an offensive or vulgar manner will not be considered. Please maintain basic decency during communication, as rude or provocative complaints may be deleted, sanctioned, and/or locked.
As per our standard procedure, if you encounter an offensive post, please use the report button so the moderators can step in. I appreciate your cooperation; it really helps maintain the quality of this entire forum. If you find that a report hasn't been addressed for some reason, the next step would be to flag it here in the feedback section. Since you have already taken action, the administration has been notified at all levels regarding the issue and, as you suggested, they will intervene if they deem it necessary. I believe we have settled this matter.
Understood. Let’s just stop worrying about Google and their ad algorithms; that’s a problem for people who actually have to deal with them. The rest of it is already taken care of.
Ah, my apologies. I was under the impression you were simply decompressing and choosing not to engage with everyone else's grievances. 😁 I’m signing off for now. 😉
@ darkseal9 - it’s not exactly some high-brow evening of contemporary poetry at the Palace this Thursday, so there's really no need for us to be interpreting everyone's grievances... Well, the authorities have seen the post, so if anyone feels the need to weigh in, they're welcome to.
@redwolf57/">@@redwolf57 - What exactly is your grievance here? At first glance, it looks like you're complaining about the MK sub, specifically regarding posts made there after you were assigned partial credit (and wouldn't have the right to comment anyway, given the rules that prevent users with partial status from participating in subforums where they hold it). However, the links actually lead to the General Discussion board, where you were actively debating with that colleague in question. As you likely know, moderation on the General board is a bit more relaxed than elsewhere. Therefore, one shouldn't necessarily expect these kinds of provocations to be penalized there. In any case, the proper procedure is to report the disputed post (or posts) first; if the moderators fail to act, then you can come to the oversight committee to demand an explanation.
I don't mean to meddle in your appeal, but I feel compelled to remind you that parole isn't a prison sentence—it doesn't come with an expiration date. Parole is permanent; a six-month mark is merely the bare minimum threshold one should reach before even considering asking for it to be revoked. But, as you've already been told:
Arthur Flores2 said:You can request to have your parole terminated after six months. It would be wise to back up that request with some actual evidence of personal growth or change.
In short, simply citing the passage of time is hardly a valid argument. Still, the decision regarding what constitutes an optimal appeal rests entirely with you. Let us wait for the moderators from the religious section to weigh in.
Please refrain from targeting one another, avoid engaging in off-topic chatter, and above all, cease any speculation regarding the identities of fellow forum members.
No, you didn't actually specify that you wanted a response from a different moderator, and the first point of contact for any reaction is the moderator. In the meantime, I have notified the head moderator about your complaint, so please exercise a bit of patience until he arrives.
Let’s dial back the finger-pointing just a bit. rowdytiger13 was called out, and he has already provided his statement. Once he has responded, if you find his explanation insufficient, you are free to demand a clarification from a higher authority. We will simply assume you have done exactly that, and we shall await word from a superior instance.
To everyone participating: this thread will be strictly moderated. Any trolling, petty arguments, mockery, or similar behavior will result in a penalty.
I find myself regularly stuck in those "death groups." It’s why I end up getting knocked out so often. 🤣 But honestly, guys, there is a certain satisfaction in playing against high-level competition, regardless of whether you actually advance or not.
(And by the way, until recently, we were sitting near the bottom of the standings based on tiebreakers. But look at us now! 🙏 🙏)
