Between those top two, I’d personally go with either the Western Digital or Apple options. You might also want to check out this General Electric one or maybe this Intel model.

It just depends on which browser you're running. You'll need to turn on InPrivate Browsing (Firefox, Safari, Opera), incognito mode in Google Chrome, or InPrivate Browsing in Internet Explorer. Once you do that, your browsing history won't stick around. 🙂
The Google Chrome diagnostic page for the forum reports: "This site is not currently listed as suspicious."(Last updated 3 hours ago) 🙂 ---- Safari 7.0 (9537.71)
Nope. That Windows license is tied directly to that specific laptop, so you can't just move it over to a different machine.😢
"Starting with Windows Vista and including Windows 7, the EULA of OEM license allows installation on only one single computer; once it's set, it's permanently locked to the motherboard of that specific machine." (link)

Something like this, right? 😉
I've got one more question—I honestly can't find it anywhere. It's like it just doesn't exist.Windows 7 or Windows 8?I need some actual reasons why one version is better than the other. Everything I've dug up online is just total nonsense. Also, does the system score even matter in general? What about when it comes to gaming? I’m looking at Windows 7 where the score hits around 7.9, but on Windows 8 it goes up to 9.9. :S haha
Not exactly on topic, but here’s my two cents: for what I need as an everyday home user, the latest version of Windows is definitely a step up from the previous ones. Is it perfect? No. Does it need to be? Not really. It’s stable, it doesn't nag you constantly with all those annoying notifications—though you can just toggle those off anyway—and I’ve finally gotten used to the UI. That said, I still find myself much more productive when I stick to desktop mode. ---- System score ([Link]It reflects what the hardware can actually do, not how the OS performs.

I’d suggest you take the cost of upgrading from Windows 7 Home Basic to Windows 7 Home Premium / Professional / Ultimate and weigh it against what it would actually cost to jump from Windows 7 Home Basic straight to Windows 8 / Pro.
Honestly, the price gap might not even be that significant. 🤷 The real kicker is whether your hardware can even handle the newer Windows versions.
