You hit the nail on the head. I had everything cranked up to the absolute max! Once I dialed it back to 200 dpi, the thing actually finished in a reasonable amount of time. Seriously, what’s the lowest dpi you can get away with if I'm just emailing documents?

I've got my Canon Pixma hooked up via Wi-Fi. For the most part, I'm pretty happy with it, but there's one thing driving me up the wall: the scanning speed. It takes about two and a half minutes to finish a single scan. Now, if I'm just making a copy, it happens in a flash. My old, budget-friendly HP used to rip through scans way faster than this. Is this all because of the data transfer over the Wi-Fi?

A kid I know is looking at picking up some Bose QuietComfort headphones for gaming. They’ve got a built-in mic. His motherboard is a B450M PRO4-F.
Does he actually need an external amp, or can a standard PC handle 50 Ohms without the audio quality taking a massive hit?

If you're running Windows 10, you really shouldn't have any issues using the built-in email app. It’s right there.

I just read online that you can see this setting in the BIOS. Is there any way to tell just by looking up the model number? It's currently running Windows 10.

Thanks! I just swapped my desktop over to an SSD as the boot drive, and man, it really proves everything people say about that massive speed jump. It's night and day. I was browsing some shops for a new laptop, and they were only showing standard hard drives, so I just assumed—but I wasn't 100% sure.

Hey everyone! My son is currently lugging around this old laptop equipped with an i3 4005U 1.7 GHz, a GT 840m, and just 4 GB of RAM. The screen resolution is standard HD. If I were to pick up a high-def monitor for him, would he actually be able to run something like CS:GO without everything turning into a slideshow?

Hey everyone! So, I’ve got my TV hooked up via HDMI to my PC, which is running a GeForce GTX 750 Ti. Here’s the headache: if I pull up a movie file directly from my hard drive using Windows Media Player, I can just toggle the audio settings within the player and send the sound straight to the TV. Easy enough. But the second I jump onto YouTube, Netflix, or anything else online, I'm stuck. I figured there must be some setting in the GPU control panel to handle this, but I'm completely lost. In the NVIDIA Control Panel under Audio, I see "Default audio device" and my TV is listed right there. Below that, I have options for S/pdif and Speakers. I try them all—nothing works. It’s just dead silence. What am I missing here?
