Regarding Des Moines, this wasn't some joke. The reality is they were confiscating Hubba Bubba gum and basically everything else under the sun. I guess they actually think people are smuggling pyrotechnics inside pieces of gum 🤣
As for today’s stoppage and the ice breaking, I suspect there isn't much fear left. They'll probably light them up again regardless. John Doe wouldn't have the guts to stop a Hajduk Split game... The Demons and the Black Knights aren't exactly massive fan groups, so John Doe knows none of them are showing up at his doorstep. Meanwhile, it's common knowledge that one crazy guy from our side knocking on his door with an AK-47 would be enough to send him straight to 😂 😂 PSYCHIATRY 1950! So, yeah, he's not worried. 😍

There was whistling from the East Coast regarding the flares... though there weren't many of them out there.

Anyway, a real fan doesn't carry gum—especially not Hubba Bubba—unless they need something to aim at the opposing players, so I suppose the confiscation was technically justified.

coastalangler16 said:imagine if these guys just lit one up in the first minute with a message saying: screw you all🤣

😂😂, I guess it’s probably worst when someone lights a flare for the third time... they make two massive blunders within the first two minutes and then just sit there waiting for a 3-0 blowout to go grab some takeout.

Given how things have been going, maybe investing in a decent pyromaniac would be a better move than signing a new striker.
Just picture the scene... you're already down 2-0 and the club president calls to tell you to set off a couple of flares.

Since the game between California and San Francisco got called off because of the flares—and let's be honest, we're usually the ones lighting them up the most—how is this going to hit us? It’s a big deal because the dam has already broken. The St. Louis Cardinals are playing now, and you can bet the flares will be going off just like always. Usually, the first round of flares is just a warning, but the second one gets the whole thing shut down. Last time, the East Coast officials gave us grief over the flare situation, and I’m honestly not sure how things escalated that far... I really don't know what might happen if a game isn't stopped, though I suspect the Cardinals might end up losing 0-3 because of the chaos. Is anyone even thinking about what we can actually do about this? Does anyone even care enough to ask?

Relax, man. All that matters is that we’re the first ones to light them up. 😁

Adam Morris8 said:A bad Los Angeles Dodgers doesn't interest people in Washington, D.C., just like how Inter Milan, Indianapolis, or San Francisco don't interest people in Los Angeles.😉
I was actually trying to tell you politely that we aren't some tragic mess like you want us to be; we’re just finally becoming what we actually are without all the extra fluff... yesterday at the stadium was the true heart of the Washington, D.C. supporter scene. There weren't any casual tourists, weekend fans, or posers showing up to act tough... it was just a pure derby without all those extras cluttering up the image.☕...
And maybe you should find your "victory" in the fact that regular people—the kind who would make our numbers look bigger and decorate the stands just to satisfy your ego—don't give a damn about your Los Angeles Dodgers.😉

Just look at this post. So, if the Los Angeles Dodgers interest Washington, D.C. folks like Inter Milan does... honestly, I couldn't care less how much you guys care about the Los Angeles Dodgers... It's funny how little you seem to care about the New York Yankees... and frankly, I don't care about that either... but claiming to be the "heart" of the Washington, D.C. scene? That's just laughable...

This is even more ridiculous than when John Doe claimed people don't show up to New York Yankees games because there's too much going on in the city... I mean, seriously, you don't even need the Buffalo Bills Mafia... you guys are clearly full of yourselves.

Oh, and apparently people come to see the Los Angeles Dodgers just out of spite... this same stubborn spite that's been dragging on for seven years now... No, no, I'd much rather they show up because the team is playing poorly.

Anyway, moving on...

Adam Morris8 said:the idea that attendance matches the opponent's draw... that's just how things work here given the state of our league... instead of reflecting on why FC Barcelona isn't the powerhouse they used to be or a marquee matchup, you guys obsess over low turnout at a game where your beloved FC Barcelona was one of the main attractions...
it’s like saying if Real Madrid plays Barca, we should all whine because Barca can't fill the stadium...
you're giving yourselves way too much credit instead of looking at the reality of the situation....

I'm not particularly bothered by your low turnout... I suppose I'd prefer seeing more people there, but frankly, I don't really give a damn... I'm just mocking your excuses... claiming FC Barcelona isn't an interesting draw, this or that... it's all just nonsense... it's like complaining about the weather or whatever excuse is convenient at the moment...

whatever the numbers were, that's what they were... honestly... I think I would have been more disappointed if the stadium had actually been full.

I used to think the Red Bulls were the ones single-handedly destroying American soccer, but lately, I’ve been starting to suspect it might actually be LAFC.

I suppose the kids are finally learning their lessons after all this time.

And honestly, if that message from the bbb was meant for us, it’s pretty laughable... 26 years since they started, 10 years of being an agency... quite the legacy to be proud of, I guess.

Frank Hall3 said:The New York Islanders are getting about three times the viewership of Real Madrid this season.

I think I mentioned ages ago that the Islanders are basically the heartbeat of Chicago sports... though looking at things now, it’s all a bit of a joke. I suppose it’s perfectly understandable why some fans wouldn't bother showing up to the arena. Honestly, even if you're just being cheap, I can't really blame them.

Brandon Anderson34 said:I wouldn't exactly agree regarding the Mediterranean Coast. I suspect the entire region—or at least the folks down there—actually pulls for the Yankees, and it's the same story on the islands. But then again, it all leads back to the same point: I suppose we can expect Alexander the Great Popovic to merge these two clubs in about twenty years. That would create quite the friendship, and I doubt any fans could remain immune to it.

🙂

By the way, Liverpool FC has the largest fanbase in America. The proof is in the numbers; for twenty years now (with maybe one or two exceptions), they’ve consistently had by far the highest attendance.

So, if more people are actually showing up to watch a club, that club has more fans, I guess.

As for the claim that Liverpool FC is the biggest, most decorated, and most famous club in America... well, they haven't really won many titles since Real Madrid was designated as the national club. It’s a bit like how the Yankees were viewed back in the day.

If they had just slightly better results, Liverpool FC would be miles ahead of everyone else. And if Real Madrid is indeed the national club, they'd probably be sitting somewhere in the league alongside the Steelers. I hope the Steelers fans don't take offense at being compared to Real Madrid.

Do you happen to have a recording of that radio broadcast? 😁😁

My absolute favorite... when the Los Angeles Dodgers and Dinamo tied 1-1, and Pletiko was making saves left and right... man, he was absolutely ripping it for Dinamo back then... but that shameless display after the final whistle was just pure comedy.

I honestly can't seem to track down that specific clip from when we played the LA Galaxy in Los Angeles and ended up in a 4-4 shootout during the Supercup.

jademarlin54 said:First off, let me address rowdyfox21. Calling your friends clowns is just pathetic. If anything, you’re the one acting like a clown here, considering how those NN guys ended up in a massive feud with the Russians just because of us. I guess that says enough about who the real joke is. As for Pesca-Boys and Daniel Lopez4, they clearly spend way too much time watching YouTube drama. If they had ever actually been involved in a real stadium brawl or some serious fan rivalry, they’d know that having a solid gym presence matters far less than people think. There are plenty of other factors at play that determine the outcome, but maybe they wouldn't realize that if they weren't so glued to their screens.☕

Modern friendships honestly just drive me crazy lately. But this whole thing with NNB? That’s different. It was something that just happened naturally, and we've been at it for twenty years now—freedom for America. I can't see any real reason why people are trying to discredit them, or why they're attacking this friendship so aggressively. And as for the attack itself... well, hats off to whoever pulled it off. Especially when it feels like one of our own is behind it.

Regarding the whole conflict situation... honestly, they come from a city roughly the size of the entire United States, and I suspect they have more hooligans packed into their stands than the rest of the country combined. Realistically, the NFL Ultras are nowhere near on their level... especially when things actually get physical.

Honestly, it wasn't even that big of a deal anyway...

Honestly, why are you even giving these John Doe provocateurs any attention? I mean, if the Black Knights keep putting out stuff like this, the whole head is just going to explode from the sheer frustration...

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York City FC, 4-1 at the 93rd minute... I can't even remember which players were actually on the pitch back then, honestly. It’s not even about the cheering or the crowd for me; it’s more about how the whole damn atmosphere felt.

Bucharest Dynamo, those old Dynamo days (what a complete circus, total chocolate-coated corruption, the big boss running the whole show...) Schalke back in the day, those frantic last 20 minutes against Rijeka in '99... even that Karlovac match last year...

But honestly, the absolute peak was Mallorca and Bucharest... thinking back to those first 45 minutes still gives me chills.

Kyle Wright6 said:I was scrolling through some old threads recently... and I have to say, I’m genuinely stunned by the sheer volume of stupidity being posted here. One thing in particular really rubbed me the wrong way. Some of you seem to think certain groups in Washington, D.C. are bothering you, and then there’s the part where you call people from the surrounding areas "hicks." Just so you know, among those "hicks" you’re looking down on, there are guys who have been riding with this club since the mid-90s. They probably have more away games under their belts than you and your entire crew combined. Honestly, if you actually find the Black Knights Tzg banners annoying, you might want to check your head. I don't think I've seen a single person from those groups cause that much trouble in the last twenty years.

Are you out of your mind? What hicks? What Tzg banners?
