so... what a load of crap 😂 I tried forcing myself to sit through at least half of it, hoping—praying, really—that some actual plot would finally kick in to justify why anyone calls this movie "high quality." But honestly? I should've just killed it after the first 10 minutes when the urge to turn it off hit me. Absolute garbage.

At this point, she basically only leaves her room to eat, use the bathroom, or just act like a little menace. Or, she’ll come barging in and shove her phone under my nose to show me some random TikTok or meme that's just endless gibberish. I try to be a good parent and watch them—I really do—but when she shoves the exact same stupid video at me for the seventh or eighth time in a row, I just can't pretend anymore. There's a limit to how much nonsense I can stomach before I snap. 🙂
And don't even get me started on the "you can't disagree with me" rule. If I happen to not like something she likes, or if I dare suggest that something seems a bit silly or pointless... man, she takes it as a personal attack. It’s like an instant meltdown.
When she starts venting about school drama or her friends, heaven forbid I offer a different perspective. If I say, "Hey, maybe that wasn't actually fair," it's game over. She'll just snap, "Well, whose side are you even on?!"
It's been this same repetitive loop every single day lately. Last night, she dropped the bombshell that she's never having kids. Apparently, she has zero interest in spending her entire life dealing with the chaos of children. 🤦
John Doe, I swear, I am going to start filming her every time she goes on one of these little adventures. Then I'll just save the footage and play it back for her in ten years. I'm dead serious. 🙂
I'm already ahead of you 😁—my kid isn't even hitting puberty yet, but I've definitely caught him on camera before, dead serious, explaining to me why he's "never gonna have sex because it's gross."😁

🙏🙏🙏 man, i broke out in a cold sweat for a second there
here we go again with the half-baked info that drives me insane ; what kids are we even talking about? all of them? or just middle schoolers and the older elementary kids? i don't get how you can't just give a straight answer in one single announcement 🙂
My bad. Wasn't trying to act all high and mighty here. I just looked at this thread and saw a massive pile of haters attacking anyone talking about kids or parenting—honestly, some of those posts sounded like they were written by toddlers—so I figured I’d offer a different perspective to keep things civil. At the end of the day, for some people, staying childless is actually the better move. Not because of them, but for the sake of the kids.
Later. 👋I stopped caring about these forum fights a long time ago.
First off, I totally get not wanting kids. I respect everyone's choices—we don't all need to be parents. Here’s my deal: up until I was 25, I was convinced I’d never want them. Honestly? I couldn't stand the thought of messing up my life for some brats. But once I hit 25, it clicked that I’d probably end up having kids eventually, even if "I'm still young, have my whole life ahead of me, it's just not the right time yet". By 29, I decided it was finally time. 😬So what changed? I spent about six years living with my boyfriend, basically just living for ourselves—indulging in every little kink and luxury we could afford. We lived pretty damn good. It was pure hedonism, and we were loving every second of it. Then one day it just hit me: this is great, but is this really what I want for the rest of my life? Is this enough to fill the next several decades? For me, the answer was a hard no. Bottom line: it’s fine if you don't want kids, but just keep in mind that you might change your mind down the road.😉
So, I spent my day standing in line again just to pick up my lab results 😳 —and it wasn't even with other pregnant women, but a bunch of old retirees instead.
Someone told me to try Jess pads—the plastic-free daily ones—and honestly, they’re 👍. I’ve been using them throughout my entire pregnancy and haven't dealt with a single yeast infection or any bacterial issues. Seriously, highly recommend. I can't be swapping out four pairs of underwear a day.
Honestly, out of all the symptoms I’m dealing with, the discharge is what’s actually killing me—it just gets more intense as the pregnancy goes on. It's not even about having to swap out pads constantly, though I have no clue how many I'm going through in a day—it's the constant, nagging paranoia that my water is actually breaking 🙂
Not sure if I’ve already ranted about this—maybe I’m just repeating myself 🤔
Honestly, what happened with nobody giving a damn about pregnant women is driving me insane. A few weeks back, some guy actually had the nerve to cut in front of me at the checkout. Then I ended up stuck waiting for 10 minutes because he was buying one single pack of printer paper using a corporate account—and of course, he didn't have the tax ID ready, and the cashier couldn't even spell his company name right 🙄 meanwhile, I’m standing there sweating my ass off in this stifling heat, barely able to stay upright. It’s just straight-up unfair. And don't even get me started on the OB-GYNs and hospitals. You show up and you're guaranteed at least a 30-minute wait, as if sitting around isn't the last thing we want to be doing.
We don't have much ground compared to the wannabe crowd—and honestly, we can't go hunting for our own quality posts buried under a mountain of wannabe garbage. There’s only one MPO thread on this entire forum, and it’s nowhere near big enough for everything we need to get out. Either give us more threads or just hand over a dedicated sub-forum already. Today it’s some random person’s wannabe chat, but what kind of nonsense are they going to claim counts as "chat" tomorrow? 👎 It feels like pointless nitpicking to me—posts in the MPO thread have never been treated like they were in some casual chat thread. Come on, velvettrucker52, hit us with the numbers: what’s the daily post average for any given chat thread here versus the daily average for the MPO thread?
Peter Bailey said:It seems absolutely nobody has any concept of how waiting in line works anymore. It isn’t just about the lack of patience, either; people constantly cut right in front of me as if I’m invisible, let alone the fact that they expect me to just stand there and yield this massive, ridiculous 😠 . Take today, for instance: I placed my ice cream on the conveyor belt, but instead of being served, the cashier kept ringing up the woman ahead of me. I figured I’d use those few seconds to grab a magazine, but when I returned, what do I find? This lady had shoved her overflowing basket right in front of my ice cream, acting as if I didn't even exist 😠. And then, of course, she takes her sweet time—just rambling on and on—until she finally manages to dig through her purse. She pulls out one handful of singles, another with nothing but fives, and then a final pile of heavy quarters 😠 .
It was an even bigger shock when I went for bloodwork; even though they have signs saying who gets priority, apparently "priority" doesn't exist there. At least that was my experience at the local community clinic in Seattle. I waited over an hour just to get my blood drawn, even though being pregnant is supposed to give me priority. It's not like I'm huge and pregnant already, but honestly, I really don't want to pick up some random bug during my first trimester 😳
Am I the only one who thinks this thread has completely lost its way? 🤷 It’d be fine if we just renamed this thing to something like "My Daily Grievances" or whatever—not that we don't already have enough of those threads floating around the forum🥳
It’s not even hard to answer whether I know what I want out of life—of course I do. The real headache is figuring out if my expectations actually line up with reality.
So I’ve got this friend who is a total narcissist—she genuinely thinks everyone in her orbit revolves entirely around her, when in reality, we’re all just busy dealing with our own lives 🤣. Look, obviously everyone is wrapped up in their own drama, but I try not to dump it all on people. I say what’s on my mind, move on, and then ask about you or someone else—that’s how a normal conversation works, right? But with her, it’s an absolute nightmare. She drags every single person in the group into her trivial little dilemmas that aren't even worth worrying about. When she moved into her new apartment, we were forced to hear every single granular detail—the floor tiles, the wall paint, the chairs, the TV, everything. We know every tiny play-by-play of her job too (it's always some long-winded story like, "so I told him this, and he adjusted his glasses, and gave me this look, and then I said..." — seriously? who cares? just get to the point and shut up 😠). Now there's this wedding coming up and I finally hit my limit. I've tried dropping subtle hints that I don't care about the minutiae, but she either doesn't get it or she gets it and just can't help herself. It feels like she does it just to hunt for validation from everyone around her—like she needs us to constantly go, "Oh wow, you're so smart," or "You're so resourceful." She has this pathological need to prove herself to everyone. Her ego is so massive it’s actually nauseating. We aren't talking right now. We didn't have some big blowout fight, I just distanced myself so much that she's actually blaming me for it. It sucks because she’s actually a good person deep down and has real qualities—she's the kind of person you'd call a true friend—but the mental tax of dealing with her is just too high. Anyway, that's my definition of an exhausting person.
