Nah, those names are just synonyms for trash and B-movies. If Hauer had actually picked better roles, he’d be in my top 5. As for Berenger? He’s a mediocre actor to me, except for that one platoon movie where Rourke should've been cast instead.

Yeah, Eric Bogosian is another solid shout. He totally killed it in that lead role in Stone's *Talk Radio* back in '88—then he went on to do *Pretender* before eventually hitting even higher peaks😁

Thinking about Berenger and Hauer—man, Hauer's a total legend, though.

Heat (1995) is basically the only remake that actually nailed it and hit cult status—it was built off that same script Mann wrote before he did L. A. takedown
I’ll happily skip this one, but I am definitely down to check out The Conjuring soon—at least that promises something better

I ran into Warren Beatty once and my first thought was... "Man, what a total creep."

Most of these movies are total trash—maybe Con Air is the only exception.
The cast was pretty weak, too.

I honestly don't get why Carlito's Way is so overlooked. Every Pacino retrospective or documentary I've seen just completely skips over it.
From the script and the directing to the cinematography—this thing is pure perfection. Just straight-up professionalism on screen.

Quills (2000) and especially Heavenly Creatures (1994) are just fantastic

In my book, Innocent 1990 is his absolute peak—though The Mosquito Coast 1986 is a close second.
His turns as Deckard and Kimble? Total icons.
As far as his recent stuff goes, K-19 2002 was probably the last one I actually enjoyed.

People always bring up *Carlito's Way* when talking about Pacino's underrated stuff, but honestly? I think *Love Affair* (1989) belongs on that list too. That trio absolutely crushed it.
Then you've got Stone Talk mentioning *Talk Radio* (1988), where he basically introduced us to Bogart—total shame he didn't land more standout roles after that, because he was incredible in it.
And speaking of R. Scott, it kind of reminds me of
*Someone to Watch Over Me* (1987)

iTMOM is such a killer psychological horror—immediately makes me think of Zulawski's Possession (1981)
