I wouldn't go so far as to say you're defenseless; rather, there are just too many technical lapses. Your perimeter defense is moving quite rapidly, and there are some beautifully executed plays worth watching. That middle player is performing exceptionally well.
Following the usual pattern after a massive win—all the praise, the hero worship, and the excessive celebrations—we inevitably revert to the classic American sports cycle: a sluggish start, a barrage of wasted shots, senseless penalties, a nonexistent goalkeeper, and a coach who gets lost in endless bench rotations because nobody can find their rhythm. We always seem to be playing catch-up, trailing by three or four goals; then, just as we claw our way back to within one or close to a draw, someone inevitably blunders, and we end up losing by two or three. It’s always accompanied by the same old excuses: exhaustion, injuries to star players, certain starters staying home, or the media being out to get us from day one. sure, it should be a great game 🙂
