Get to a doctor right away. Fluid buildup usually means kidney issues or blood pressure problems... It happened to my neighbor after he wouldn't quit smoking.
it's so easy to love it's so easy to hate it takes strength to be gentle and kind
we should all probably be a bit nicer... but honestly? Between fighting for a spot at Starbucks, dealing with a sick kid, not having my caffeine fix yet, and this miserable weather... it takes some actual effort to push through it all. so I don't buy the idea that being kind means losing yourself. if anything, it's the opposite.

😱 Yikes. I've had swollen lymph nodes in my neck for years; one bigger one and two tiny ones. About 5 or 6 years ago, I went in to get them biopsied and, if I remember right, the report mentioned something about transformed cells... follow up in a year. I never actually went back since I don't really feel any symptoms, other than the nodes just being there. Weirdly enough, they cleared up while I was pregnant and then popped right back up again. How did you catch yours... Hodgkin's?
If you're hitting up any Whole Foods in the States, they’ve got this killer line of shampoos (I use them)... some organic brand, I think. For dandruff, there's one with nettle that actually works. Seriously! Just don't go switching brands every other week. Not sure if they make body washes too, but that would be great since everything is all-natural.

When my test came back positive, I rushed straight to my OBGYN all excited to get blood work done just to be sure. She basically told me, "The tests are totally reliable, no need for blood work. Just come back for an ultrasound in two weeks."
I don't have a cure for you... but getting to know you through all those loud, high-energy posts, I feel like there's this constant spark, a little flicker, just jumping around whenever you're near...😎
Congrats Jeffrey Cook55 !!! Enjoy these next few months... all the moms on this sub will walk you through everything. I'm just an interloper here... a "young" mom myself... 😘
Dealing with pregnancy complications like eclampsia was rough... my blood pressure spiked to 150... I spent six months living on basically boiled food—minimal salt, just some olive oil—to get it back under control. I suspect this genetic predisposition might be a tougher nut to crack, but the logic stays the same: boiled veggies, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, GARLIC, no smoking... stay away from red meat, eggs, and too much booze... 👍
Honestly, most iron supplements just wreck my stomach... if I really need them, fine, but I'd much rather focus on what I'm eating; leafy greens - green stuff berries - red stuff blackberry juice, liver (which is 🤮 for me, but super high in iron)...
