Need some advice on this situation; Got pulled over last summer for speeding (limit was 35, I was doing 45 miles/h while passing a semi). Since I wasn't actually flying down the road, I decided to fight it. It’s been over a year, and honestly, I almost forgot about it. But then, I got a "lovely" letter from the local court letting me know my appeal was denied and the case is moving forward. Now they want a written statement from me. I'm stuck. What am I even supposed to write? In my eyes, I wasn't being reckless just because I passed a big rig hauling two full trailers. If I just admit fault now, I'll have to pay the fine ($200) plus all the court costs. And if I keep pushing back, things could get even uglier... Anyone have any actual, useful advice? 🙂
I'd honestly rather deal with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic... and any other natural stuff to lower my levels than touch some processed Walmart junk.
I recently read that a food tech university did an analysis on dairy products available here in the States; Walmart ended up at the bottom of the list, while Danone took the top spot.
I'm not going to, and honestly, I don't see the point It'll pass quickly anyway. It’s really just about the temp changes... the shock of jumping from the shower to the outside air makes a bigger difference than anything else

I've got the same issue. My dermatologist told me I have "heat-sensitive skin" (sounds pretty sexy, doesn't it? 😬 ) He didn't mention anything about hives but honestly, nothing really helps...
Jamie Rivera78 said:Look, don't be naive—there is a massive difference between tap water and spring water. Sure, tap water is microbiologically "safe," but that's only because it’s been absolutely nuked with chlorine and heavy metals. Most of those metals just end up building up inside your pipes anyway. Honestly, you're better off sticking to bottled water, even if the quality of that can be pretty hit-or-miss depending on what you grab.
Personally, I just head straight to the spring, like I do... there are plenty of them around Chicago

Lead, most likely. And lead is terrible for brain development...
Decent menu 🙂 though the portions look a bit small... but hey, that's just me I wouldn't be putting out-of-season veggies in a salad either, and it's way too early for local tomatoes and peppers anyway
Kyle Nelson2 said:The water changes color during electrolysis because of the chlorine levels in there.. It could also shift color due to limescale buildup, but let's be real, limescale isn't actually harmful
If you're still skeptical, I guess you could try this: just grab 5 liters of water and boil it until it all evaporates... then you can see whatever gunk is left at the bottom... it's the simplest experiment you can do
I drink spring water, nothing's left after boiling it out... not really a huge believer in filters...
I take spirulina once in a while... just whenever I feel like it... I've got the powder version, so I just toss a teaspoon or two into my breakfast
I'm pretty sure you'd need a massive dose to actually overdose I have a medical encyclopedia on hand, so if you're really curious, I can look up what the symptoms of an overdose would be

Hard to say... some level of support definitely wouldn't have hurt. It was just one bad thing after another; PTSD, my brother's suicide, getting hooked on heroin and pills, and then that tragically stupid decision to try and handle everything on his own... leading up to the tragedy, he hadn't slept for about a month... We live in different cities so I didn't know what was going on, and the people who did know felt like it wasn't their place to step in... now they won't even visit him because they think he was being arrogant, thinking he could just control everything himself.
briskgull27 said:@Kevin Mitchell20, goodness gracious... but alright...... The issue here is a global one, not just some case of schizophrenia. Honestly, this is the first time I've ever heard of murders committed by a schizophrenic against someone else; maybe this guy is actually perfectly sane ?😁 😁 😁
It’s definitely urgent. I’ve even joked to myself that I’m God—whenever I disappear from the forum, you know where to find me. But it doesn't matter, life goes on normally over there too!!!!
look 🤔 interesting theory here
regarding the movie, I love how the old guy explains to his schizophrenic partner that hearing voices isn't actually a big deal... if doctors had run into Moses when God spoke to him, they would've rushed him straight to the psych ward
briskgull27 said:I’m curious—what actually goes through the minds of you mentally healthy folks when you happen to meet someone who is a schizophrenic?
a) "Okay, let's get out of here fast" b) "Whoa, I've never actually met a real crazy person before!" c) "Yikes, a real lunatic... this is terrifying" d) "Oh, you poor thing" e) "They actually look totally normal to me" f) "They're clearly struggling and acting really erratic" g) "Thank God I don't have anything like that"
So, what's the verdict? ???????????
🙂
Hey briskgull27! I drop by your place every once in a while... I have a friend who’s a schizophrenic. Four years ago, he killed his wife... stabbed her. Now he's been sentenced to treatment at a state mental hospital... Out of all those so-called "friends," only my husband and I actually stay in touch. We’re the ones visiting him and hosting him at our place. That pretty much answers your questions above...
Props to you for being so honest... though honestly, besides that, you've got a killer sense of humor... 👍
I don't think there's any connection... I've been dealing with this lately, where I can't even wear costume jewelry anymore without breaking out in a rash immediately plus I have this leather bracelet with metal clasps—that triggers a rash too, and it doesn't just stay right where the metal touches my skin someone actually tried explaining which metals cause these kinds of reactions once, but the details escaped me so I just stopped wearing cheap jewelry altogether
Noah Harris50 said:See? And you still don't have kidney issues, right? 🙂 I carry water in my bag too.
Actually, I think that habit saved my life. I had a rough time during childbirth—eclampsia, which ended up damaging my kidneys and liver. My husband was bringing me 3 liters of water every single day. My nephrologist was actually blown away by how fast my kidney function bounced back...
