It used to be that our games against them would always end up with scores like this. Times change, I suppose—we’ve definitely picked up the pace—but those guys always seem to find a way to pull through somehow. God, I can't stand them.
Oh sure, as if we needed more reasons to be frustrated... 🤣
I have to point something out here... why is it that we never actually dictate the tempo against them? We looked decent enough in the first half, but once they found their rhythm in the second, it became their show entirely. There wasn't much left for us to do.
I had a feeling he wouldn't sink it; I guess T.O. is more terrified of losing his job than he is of God. Just as they managed to catch us off guard with Omeyer, maybe we should have caught them off guard by leaving Ćupić on the bench entirely. ☕
The wings are totally stagnant, the offense is just circling the drain... honestly, just blow the whistle and end it. I guess it’s a miracle we’re still within three points.
I think we should grab the draw for Chile vs Ecuador; I was hoping they wouldn't slash those odds too much. It seems pretty straightforward—both sides are likely heading to the FIFA World Cup regardless, so they won't have to worry about some potential Uruguayan upset against the Argentines, though even that's a bit of a toss-up. As a long-time bettor, I’ve watched plenty of Serie A and Serie B matches in recent rounds where the odds for a draw were sitting around 1.6, and those usually hit. Compared to that, this current odd feels massive. I even remember a draw in an Osijek vs Cibalia match at 1.3 that went through without any trouble. It just doesn't make sense for this one to fail. So, my take is:
Chile vs Ecuador X @1.9 I've put it on SS and PSK; I haven't made up my mind on the others yet.

Same thing happened to me on Google Chrome. On a brighter note, ever since I asked here a few days ago about why I couldn't load any pages, this forum hasn't lagged once and seems to be running smoothly.🤣 But, well, I guess the peace didn't last long. 😁
Well, this is it. I’m satisfied with what I’ve heard and read. Honestly, I’m not under any illusions that my personal grievances were what actually triggered the authorities to step in. My thanks to you. It is a bit of a shame that I won't be contributing to the OFF sections quite like I used to, but there are plenty of other threads out there worth getting lost in.
It’s not just that, either; now all my settings have reverted to English without me touching a single thing. It feels like they're forcing some kind of global reset on everyone's account. They're clearly tinkering with something behind the scenes, though I guess I'm hardly an expert on whatever technical glitch is happening here.
It would be quite nice if someone in charge actually bothered to address these inquiries and complaints. Since May 21st, there hasn't been a single word from them—just a growing pile of frustrated users and total silence on their end. I suppose we’re all dealing with the exact same issue. For me, this has been dragging on since last Friday, May 17th, and here we are on the 26th without any resolution.

The idea that a moderator or admin can just wander into someone's private inbox whenever they feel like it is mostly an urban legend. 🙂
edit: I see you already got an answer on another thread, so... I'll just leave this here. Maybe some other forum member will stumble upon it later if they're wondering about the same thing.
Thanks anyway. Quick question for you specifically: was it really necessary to hand out two warnings for that? I'll admit, I was being pedantic, but two? Now I have to walk on eggshells for a whole month. It wasn't even in the right thread, but it wasn't exactly a massive grievance either.
The odds for Over 2.5 goals have been dropping lately, probably because those derby matches tend to be high-scoring affairs most of the time.
My pick for today is: AC Milan to win @1.75 via FanDuel
They’re finding their rhythm and haven't lost since they faced Maria Pulve. They're really pushing for that third spot in the standings to overtake Lazio, and even Napoli isn't exactly untouchable at second place—they've slipped into a bit of a slump, though they tried to mask it with that 1-1 draw against Juve last night. I guess you could say they're within five points. Lazio has been incredibly inconsistent, but with Barca coming up in about ten days, Milan might just go all out against the Romans.
Being a moderator is a tough gig; I’m starting to realize that firsthand. How do you strike that balance where you aren't unfairly targeting someone, yet you still ensure they actually get the facts they need? Maybe, as a moderator, you could have just suggested they search through previous posts on the thread by some of those "unquestionably reliable" veterans here. After all, how is anyone supposed to know who to trust if they aren't active on this forum?🤷 I actually stumbled upon this place by accident. I haven't made a single post on this entire site in seven years until now; I just saw a headline about "ABC subscription fees" on the front page and clicked. What followed is pretty much common knowledge—I was just trying to help. I know the red text wasn't directed at me personally, because as a legal layman, I wouldn't even know where to look for the statutes being cited, let alone quote them properly. If I ever find myself in a situation like his, who am I supposed to believe here? I ended up getting 10 points in all that chaos, but like I mentioned in our private message, I have no real complaints there. I simply didn't know what else to say, and since I wanted to vent my frustration, that's how my "controversial" post turned out.
