I totally get where you're coming from and yeah, you could probably scrape together a cheaper build if you really wanted to, but at the end of the day, these are basically pre-built machines branded by Lenovo. I actually picked up one of these exact setups from a local Best Buy a while back for some office work—basically just needed it to run my security camera feeds and manage one specific device—and honestly, for that kind of stuff, it worked pretty damn well.

Honestly, I've ordered memory sticks from China more times than I can count and I haven't run into a single issue, mostly because I just grab everything through sites like Gearbest where it's way cheaper, and honestly, I've actually ended up with really solid products that work perfectly fine.
I’d even go as far as saying some of them feel better built than those big-name brands, since they actually give you decent metal casings while the famous companies usually just charge you a massive premium for cheap plastic junk.
Back in May of last year, I picked up a bunch of 32GB metal drives for like four bucks each, and man, I have zero complaints because everything fits perfectly, and I even loaded them up with all the photos and videos from my kid's baptism to share with my buddies without any hiccups at all.
Jack Baker82 said:Hey everyone, wishing you all a huge Happy New Year for 2020! So, please, does anyone know if there's any way at all to get some of my Word doc back? I had the file open and my son somehow managed to go on a total rampage with the keyboard, accidentally wiping out all the saved text before hitting save over the original file... now the content is just gone. 🙂
I'm honestly thinking the answer is NO, though you could maybe try a System Restore, but that usually only works for files saved a while ago. Plus, it really depends on when the last session was actually saved—whether it happened right before or after he messed everything up.
Google isn't doing me any favors here, because I'm honestly just trying to track down a private psychiatrist practicing somewhere over in Pennsylvania. I did a quick search and stumbled upon Dr. Crikvečić out in Scranton, and man, he had such incredible reviews and people were always raving about him online, but then I kept reading and found out the heartbreaking news that he actually passed away back in March of this year.
First off, if you’re planning on playing these tracks through your car stereo, you really ought to double-check if your ride actually supports MP3 files—I mean, most cars have had this capability for over 15 years now, but hey, just make sure you aren't driving some total relic from the stone age that won't recognize them. If you're looking to burn discs, honestly, you'll have a much easier time using dedicated burning software since it gives you way more control; I'd definitely suggest grabbing CDBurnerXP because it's free and seriously powerful 🙂
MP3s have the best compression, so you can cram a ton of music onto a single disc—I'm just eyeballing it here since I haven't touched a CD in forever, but you could probably fit around 100 songs as an MP3 while you'd only get maybe power 15 in standard audio format 😁
Personally, CDs feel like ancient history to me, so if I were you, I'd just pick up a modern head unit that has a USB port; it'll save you so much frustration and it's just way easier to swap tracks or delete stuff you don't want anymore Another option is to grab one of those little gadgets people buy https://www.nabava.net/slike/artikli...R_a5d3d2b0.png which aren't even that pricey; basically, you just plug it into the car, pair it with your phone via Bluetooth, and then set your radio to a specific frequency and save that station as a preset. It essentially lets you stream music straight from your phone through Bluetooth, and the device just broadcasts it over the radio frequency to your car 🙂 You can also find versions with a USB port so you don't even have to mess with your phone, you just plug in a thumb drive and go
@dden just so you know, if you're trying to reply to the original poster here, you're basically talking to a ghost because this thread has been dug up like three different times—the last time was way back in 2011, then someone revived it in 2015, and now it's happening all over again, and honestly, while I'm super curious about what actually happened, he probably just went to see a doctor and got some meds, but I have a feeling we aren't ever gonna get a real answer from the OP.
It says $10 but I’m pretty sure you can find something way cheaper somewhere else online
That stuff is basically just herbal supplements, and honestly, from what I hear, they aren't nearly as heavy-duty as actual prescription antidepressants, so you probably won't feel much of a difference with them. Plus, real meds actually take some time to kick in—you usually need to wait at least a week before you even start noticing things heading in a better direction.
And if you are on actual medication, don't expect them to just make you want to curl up in a ball and hide in your room or whatever; the whole point is to give you that little extra boost so you can actually face your problems head-on and fight for yourself, you know?
have you tried just doing the whole power cycle thing where you shut it down and flip it back on? honestly i had a super similar headache with my old setup way back when where the connection would just kind of glitch out on me for no reason at all.
if that doesn't do the trick though you should probably just give Xfinity customer service a ring and see if they'll let you swap that junk out for a brand new router.
So apparently some AMD processors are hitting a BSOD because they haven't been properly updated lately, and there was this whole security vulnerability thing popping up with both Intel and AMD chips—though with AMD it was just that Spectre flaw which they were trying to patch through those Windows security updates. Man, that BSOD might actually be what's killing you. Here's the link
Look, not all processors are created equal, you know? Some of them just pull way more juice than others. But honestly, if you check out your CPU temperature, everything looks totally normal. You really shouldn't sweat it unless those numbers start climbing way higher than they should be, which isn't happening here.
If you decide to crank up that voltage and start overclocking, the absolute most important thing is making sure you've got a solid cooler under there. You've gotta keep those temps in check, because if things start hitting, say, over 140°F, then you've actually got a reason to worry.
I'll just jump straight into the deep end here. I'm 30 years old and married. The deal is, I'm completely sterile—basically, my body doesn't produce any ejaculate or sperm at all. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I’ve actually had 13 surgeries since birth due to some congenital issues with my anatomy, which is where everything stems from, but I'm wondering if there's any way to get things moving again? Like, maybe through hormone therapy or something?
Thanks in advance
Man, you really gotta talk to a specialist about this so they can run a bunch of tests and figure out if there's even anything left to work with. Honestly, I'm skeptical because it's hard to jumpstart something that's basically shut down or totally non-functional. Also, for guys who aren't in this situation, I've heard you really need to stay active sexually, otherwise you might run into issues with erectile dysfunction.
Hey, quick question for the OP, what’s actually wrong with just using the webmail version? You can literally just bookmark the link or save it to your favorites for instant access. I honestly prefer the web interface because everything stays synced on the server, so I can get into my stuff from pretty much any computer I'm sitting at.
When I said a drive bay, I was picturing something more like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...p2045573.m1684 just make sure you double-check those dimensions so they actually fit what you've got . Honestly, your best bet is just to hop on YouTube and look up a teardown guide for your specific laptop, because once you see how it's put together, you'll totally get how to pop out the Hard Drive and the optical drive. Usually, there's just one little screw hiding underneath the optical drive holding it in place, and once you unscrew that, you can pretty much just slide the whole thing right out without any hassle . The way you gotta do it is take your old Hard Drive out and pop it into that new bay, then take your new SSD and slot it right into the main spot where the Hard Drive used to live. Since you're gonna be running your whole operating system off that SSD, it really needs to be in that primary slot, leaving the Hard Drive to chill in the secondary spot where the disc drive used to be .
If I were in your shoes, I’d definitely go for a smaller monitor instead 😁 because right now I'm stuck with this 27" Dell and honestly, it's kind of a struggle. I’d really suggest you stick with your old screen for now and just pull the trigger on the PC itself, then maybe upgrade to a massive, high-end monitor down the road once you've got the extra cash sitting around. I paid full price for mine $600 and man, it was totally worth every penny, even though prices eventually drop and you can find much bigger screens for way less later on.
I honestly have no clue if they’ll allow it, so you might just want to hit up an authorized service center directly and ask them.
But hey, you could always just grab a Hard Drive and swap it out yourself—or better yet, pay a local tech guy to do it so the official service center won't even realize you've been messing around with it, which keeps your warranty totally intact, provided you put everything back exactly how it was and don't break those little warranty stickers on the casing. The install isn't even that hard, though I'm not sure what kind of laptop you're rocking, so you'll have to see if it has two slots for a Hard Drive or if you're gonna have to pull a move and swap out the optical drive for a special caddy so you can just slide a 2.5" Hard Drive right into that empty space.
Honestly, it’s probably better to just get up to speed on the current market prices yourself, because even though I’d love to jump in and help you out, I really need some time to dig through all the different costs and figure everything out—plus, it’s honestly way more reliable if you just ask the pros directly where the best deals are and what specifically you should be looking for.
So, before I dive deeper, what kind of Windows Ten are we actually talking about here?? Because look, if you’ve got a license tied to your current rig, there's no guarantee you can just port it over to a brand-new build, since those OEM licenses are strictly one-and-done. Were you planning on tackling the OS installation yourself, or were you thinking of having a local tech guy handle the whole setup for you? 🙂
I’d honestly just run a quick test by hooking the laptop up to an external monitor, you know, just to see if the picture looks okay there. It doesn't strictly have to be about the graphics card, but I really just want us to be absolutely sure what we're dealing with.
It could be that the chip sitting right next to the LCD is acting up.
But hey, since it's still under warranty, you seriously don't even need to stress about it—just drop it off at the service center and let them handle it!
Maybe try hitting up your bank from a different computer just to see if it's still acting wonky, but honestly, I read somewhere that banks will never actually email you stuff asking for info or trying to get you to activate anything through a link.
