It’s a tough pill to swallow, I know—but honestly, the smartest move is to just let it all go and focus on moving forward with your life. You’ve used some pretty heavy language here, and if you were to say those things out loud to the wrong person—especially if that godfather happens to be someone influential in town—it could really backfire on you. For the sake of your own "well-being," I’d suggest stepping away from this whole situation.
Everything aligns perfectly with what you explained in your third post—though they might have cut a bus route or two since 2008. Your best bet is to call Varaždin City Council directly to confirm the schedule for getting to that Small town in Ohio and back. Once you have that settled, the rest of the trip—getting from home to Varaždin and back again—should be easy enough to map out.
Look, spices are everywhere—it's practically impossible to dodge them completely. The old saying "you are what you eat" really hits the nail on the head here; it shows how much control we actually have over our overall health just through our diet. So, that’s the logical first step.
The second thing—and if you're dealing with the issues you mentioned (which, let's face it, you probably are if you're asking), it suggests there are some internal processes going on that aren't exactly doing you any favors. It wouldn't hurt at all to check in with a doctor and run some basic blood work.
As for the bed—grab one of those waterproof mattress protectors so moisture doesn't soak straight through into the foam. Honestly, you're better off layering two of them under where you sleep. Also, try to position the bed so it catches a bit of sunlight during the day. Just make sure to leave the covers off so it can actually air out and dry.
First things first—try cutting out those heavy spices from your diet. I mean stuff like McCormick seasonings or similar blends. In most cases, you can actually eliminate much of that odor just by adjusting what you eat.
Personally, after I've had too much caffeine—especially from things like Monster Energy—I find it nearly impossible to drift off. Last night was particularly rough, though, and I ended up feeling exactly how you described: totally wiped out today because my sleep quality was just nonexistent.
It’s not really about the total hours spent sleeping, but rather the quality of that rest. Because of that, I'd suggest cutting back on the heavy caffeine intake—definitely try to avoid those big hits in the afternoon.
You're telling me you're only 100 meters away?! In my neighborhood, there's a guy with about twenty beehives sitting right in the middle of his yard—surrounded by houses, and just across the fence, there’s a soccer field and a fire station... Yet, the only person my colleague—who lives right next door—gets stung by is maybe two or three times a year, and even then, it's only when he's out trimming the grass near the fence or actually doing something to bother them.
It's funny—nobody has even breathed a word of complaint about those hives, despite the fact that they aren't exactly following the local ordinances 🤷 . Maybe our American bees are just a bit more laid back 🤣

He probably pulled those blueprints from the dark ages—maybe even the Salem Witch Trials era🤷 Just think about it logically—a millimeter every day?! Even if we split the difference and say it's half a millimeter, or ten millimeters total... By that logic, you'd be looking at an extra 3cm in just a month (at most). Hah, there is no way that's possible; it's honestly laughable—as sad as it is.
I hear you loud and clear—but sometimes, you just have to meet in the middle. If your gut starts "complaining" that things aren't quite right, you can't just ignore it; if those signals fade away without action, things usually just get worse over time. Your body is essentially trying to tell you it’s time for a lifestyle tweak.
Maybe try eating a full dinner, then having a little something light—like some dry toast—in the middle of the night just so you don't deal with that nasty hunger pang when you're trying to sleep. It’s really your only real option.
First off, try adjusting your internal clock. Aim to wrap up your last meal by around 7 PM at the latest.
For me, potatoes have always been the easiest dinner option—it’s actually pretty surprising how even some french fries work out! Then you've got things like hearty grain bowls or pasta (just skip those heavy, over-spiced sauces)...
I find it's much better to save the sweeter treats, heavier spices, and harder-to-digest foods for lunch.
I know it's tough—honestly, I slip up sometimes too. There are days when I stick to it, and other days where I regret eating at all because I didn't follow the rules.
Feel free to check in with your doctor—maybe mention that you dealt with similar symptoms back in the spring. There’s really no reason to worry. Especially when it comes to anything malignant... 😉
We’re currently discussing some reorganization for the MTiT subforum. 🙂
We really need to find a sensible way to distinguish "Chinese" brands from those that aren't—if that makes sense. For instance, people tend to view brands like ZTE, Huawei, or Tele2fon—the ones sold through our major US carriers—as being "less Chinese" than something like Xiaomi or Cubot, among others.
Just hang tight for a bit; you'll be getting more information very soon. 🙂

We all know there are millions of these Chinese devices out there; a new one pops up every single day. Do we really need a million different threads that only end up having two or three posts each?
I find myself agreeing with this perspective more than anything.
We'll just have to wait and see how this is handled—it's obvious that the volume of devices coming in from China (and, by extension, the number of users owning them) is growing daily, and people are clearly looking for a place to chat about them. Hang tight for a little while longer, and things will be sorted out to everyone's satisfaction. 😉

Just swap out your email—maybe use a burner address—and change your login password to something incredibly long and impossible to memorize.
Save those changes in the control panel, log out, and you're all set.
Since you won't know the password—and you won't be able to receive a reset link at that dummy email—you effectively lock yourself out for good. 🤷
