nah, it’s just one of the two founders leaving the band... honestly, most people probably won't even notice the difference...

that could be awesome, especially once the thunder starts rolling in🙂
T-Mobile Lollapalooza

😂

I was honestly trolling earlier, joking that we should just rename this thing the ExxonMobil Music Festival or maybe the Chevron Music Festival, but hey, this is actually pretty damn good...

Who are you referring to when you say "the company"?
Are you talking about the concert agency that was trying to put this show together, or the specific vendor who sold you the tickets?

I noticed the promoter's site doesn't have any upcoming shows listed, even though the same crew is handling several tours over the next few months without naming a specific agency in the ads. It’s possible they just re-registered under a new name and aren't public about it yet. 🤷

Anyway, my advice is to track down whoever is promoting these upcoming gigs and ask them what the deal is regarding refunds for Ian Brown:

Blackmore's Night @ Lincoln Center, Jan 27, 2009
Jose Antonio Rodriguez @ Lincoln Center, Feb 3, 2009
Sepultura @ Fillmore, Feb 19, 2009

Maybe Charles Bishop702 can help you out since they clearly know something about the organizers involved here...
Here's a solid question...

And right here you'll find the answer too—just scroll down a bit to the concert announcements 🤣

They definitely don't have the budget to book Battles 😳

Some new agency is handling it... under the Dallas umbrella, I think.🤷

Size matters, right? Total crap... even after trying a bunch of times, I still can't get past the fourth track... felt like they were just parodying themselves at that point...

After that, I couldn't bring myself to listen to Monochrome... maybe I should check out 🤔

Honestly, I think I saw the best set of this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival...

but they definitely share the same dealer.😬
Check this out—here’s how one of the organizers responded to all the backlash regarding this year's lineup...

Basically, they were aiming to spotlight the world music scene, which I think is a cool move. Anyone running a festival like this should be able to curate a setlist based on what they actually love. If people aren't feeling it, well, there are plenty of other things to do around town or anywhere else in the US.
Jose White23 said:I don't know what you guys are on, but if I remember right, most of the lineup was pretty much set by last year.

Nah, you're wrong...check this news drop from three months before the festival... almost all the headliners were already announced back then...
Jason White17 said:Question:
Who is Ed Kuepper?

man, why is it so hard to just google his name? 🤷

basically, Ed Kuepper is basically the godfather of Aussie punk. he fronted The Saints with Chris Bailey, which was easily one of the most legendary punk bands out there...

Not much happens around here... mostly just people guessing things...
wait, where did the website's forum go? 🤷

what's even gonna confirm stillness😲
Look, the main organizer has always been great at pushing that whole world music vibe... I don't get why everyone's acting so shocked. 🤷

If it’s not your thing, just don't go...

Besides, if you actually want to catch Nick Cave, a Coachella ticket is way cheaper than what a solo show would cost if he ever decided to tour again...

Man, you guys are never happy...
What kind of nonsense is this about Coachella? Just because there's some partnership with that festival doesn't mean anything specific about the lineup. It just means you have someone reliable who can hit up agencies and book cool bands, but that won't necessarily dictate who shows up at this year's Coachella... plus, most of those bands aren't even hitting the road in the States until July, so they definitely won't be around in mid-June anyway.

If we're talking about big-name guests, we should actually be looking at which festivals are happening during that window here in the US instead of obsessing over California.🙄
