Look, if you ask me? Just stick a hose up there with some warm water and you'll be passing out whatever Snickers you inhaled back in the summer of '92. I'm telling you, if you keep posting stuff like this for three days straight, you won't even have the energy to stumble to the kitchen to make a cup of tea, let alone anything else. Honestly, Susan from Hawaii should just take those photos and dump them on a dating site—she is seriously hot.
Is this colitis or just some random inflammation? Honestly, you should probably just go see a doctor instead of guessing... 🙄 And look, if you just had a little slip-up, maybe a quick enema would be way more effective than spending an entire week obsessively chugging herbal teas and water. I mean, sure, doing it for one day is fine, but seven days straight? That’s just not realistic. People who actually have lives—you know, working jobs, studying, or being out in the world—simply can't afford to spend all their time like that. It's just not doable when you're trying to function normally!
It was like a lightbulb moment for me when someone in the movie Reality Bites pointed out that thinking evian is some kind of holy grail is just totally naive. Personally, I just drink tap water when I'm hanging out at home (it’s super crisp, reminds me of the water up near the Rockies), but if I'm out running errands in the city, I'll just grab a half-liter bottle of Jane. Honestly, whenever I see a girl carrying around one of those tiny little bottles, I'm just sitting there like... 🙄 seriously?
Staying active, drinking tons of water, and eating clean—basically cutting way back on saturated fats and processed sugar.
Once a week, I do this full-body scrub to get my circulation pumping: I just mix together some honey, cornmeal, milk, and a few drops of Olive oil... Seriously, you guys have to try it. 🙂
silvercyclist1 said:well they definitely aren't "normal"... probably the second thing... at least if you ask me, looking at all this... so how do you even treat those yeast infections or vaginitis??? and I'm telling you again, I don't have unprotected sex... so we can totally rule out STIs...
Don't go ruling stuff out just yet! Honestly, the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy and STDs is abstinence... lol. For yeast issues: there's all sorts of antifungal creams, vaginal suppositories, or taking Diflucan orally. If it's bacterial vaginitis, you'll need antibiotics, obviously.
And seriously, stop trying to play doctor! Just run to the gynecologist unless you want your head to explode from stress. lol.
Man, I don't know what it is, I must be in a killer mood today... 🤣
silvercyclist1 said:So... I definitely have discharge... but honestly, I've always had some kind of discharge... Basically, it burns like crazy when I go to the bathroom after sex... And let's just say things look pretty gross down there right now... Could it be some kind of yeast infection, or a bug, or... I don't even know what else it could be?
In the best-case scenario, it’s just normal stuff. In a middle-of-the-road scenario, you're looking at a yeast infection or some kind of vaginitis. But in the worst-case scenario? It could be a whole bunch of other things. That's why I'm telling you, just shell out those $200$100 at a private clinic and get some peace of mind so you can actually sleep at night. There are tons of great doctors recommended over in Chicago if you want to go that route.
Hey, take a quick scroll down to the section on "nails and cuticles" to see if any of that sounds like what you're dealing with... Honestly, just reading stuff like this makes me super paranoid. I swear, I start feeling symptoms I don't even have! I’d much rather just get my prescription from the doctor and be done with it. If I had to wait two weeks for an appointment, I’d probably end up locked in a padded cell just rocking in the corner and humming nursery rhymes to stay sane.
silvercyclist1 said:No... I’m definitely not one of those people... and these aren't just little bumps either... I’m being totally serious here... I have an appointment scheduled, but I have to wait another 15 days before I can actually see my OBGYN... But in the meantime, I’m dying to know what this could be...
Look, if I had white bumps popping up right at the entrance of my vagina, I wouldn't be sitting around waiting two weeks for an appointment at a free clinic. I’d book a private doctor for Tuesday and call it a day! Are you noticing anything else? Any discharge, what color, etc.? We've got some medical folks in here, so give us a bit more info if you want a "forum diagnosis."
If you aren't one of those girls who tries to give herself a DIY trim using her brother's dull-ass razor by the light of a single scented candle (only to end up covered in bumps and ingrown hairs that make you wonder how on earth 🙄 ), then I’m just gonna quote some random lady from an old thread (forgive me, whoever she was!): just go straight to the gynecologist and get it over with..
I still laugh thinking about this one time at my OB-GYN's office. I was sitting in the waiting room when this woman in her early 40s walked in right before me, and then... nothing. She just vanished! The nurse comes out, goes back in, comes out again, and finally says, "Oh, I am so sorry you had to wait, but there's a total flood in there!" Of course my brain immediately went straight to water, not blood, which is what actually happened—turns out she’d lost like a pint or two! My doctor just shrugged when I asked her about it and was like, "She's perfectly healthy; that's just what happens once you hit 30..." 😲Honestly, I felt so awkward sitting back down on that exam table (even though I'm not even 30 yet, ugh, how embarrassing 🙄), and let's just say that was the last time I ever dealt with that mess... Look, if a woman has a yeast infection, there's no point in even doing the exam because using a speculum would just push the infection deeper. And if someone is just super dry from being nervous? Just use some lube and call it a day... 🙄 Seriously, nobody can sit there and tell me that bleeding after an exam is totally normal, especially if it feels like the doctor was being way too rough during the actual checkup...
Oh, for sure. If you can, aim for the ones that are just a little bit unstable—that way, on top of your regular stomach issues, you get that nasty amoebic cramping too. Honestly, you'll be dropping like 8 pounds in two weeks easy. 👍
Honestly, this is giving me major E. coli infection vibes. You should totally go get a urine culture done—and hey, if they can't get enough of a sample for the test, definitely ask them to run it again!😉
Ever since I lost my dad, I’ve always wrestled with this question: would it be worse to watch someone suffer, or to lose someone so close to you just like that—suddenly and shockingly? That’s exactly what happened to my family when I was 16. Just the other night, I actually got into a huge blowout fight with him (over going out, obviously... teen years, right?), said things that no parent should ever have to hear, and stormed out the door—and I never saw him again. Not a single day goes by where I don't think about it with this massive knot in my stomach. Your dad passed away knowing you loved him, knowing you were right there holding his hand until the very end... Hang in there. 😘
Amy Lee18 said:How on earth do you know it was exactly five grams? Did you pull out a kitchen scale before swallowing it?
🤣
Sorry, Rob, but honestly, this is just hilarious.. It happened to me too... back when I was about seven and a half years old. 😁 Marilyn Monroe was absolutely gorgeous, my absolute pride and joy—so I just REALLY wanted to get her out of me so I could pop her right back into a gummy bear.. 🤣 I think that's actually your problem: you hate the Five-Gram Sphere, so it's being stubborn, but really you just need to embrace and hug that inner sphere! Only then will you finally hear that satisfying *plop* after contemplating life on the toilet..😉
mistymoose57 said:I've got this cold, my engine is acting up... basically, I just need everything cleared out so it stops hurting when I go to the bathroom...
Oh, those will definitely help! Just make sure you're chugging tons of water while you take them (it even says so in the instructions) to help flush your system out properly..
mistymoose57 said:Has anyone actually tried this? Does it work, and if so, how long does it take to kick in?
So, what are you using it for—is it just some extra support for an E. coli thing? I actually grabbed some Marvel recently when I was dealing with a nasty little bug, and man, let me tell you, it is a seriously effective diuretic... 🙂 After I finished about a third of the pack, I definitely started feeling a lot better. Sadly, those pills aren't exactly candy, but since my bladder issues are super sensitive, I had to go for it... 😉
