Complaint about thread removal on Red Bull regarding pregnancy in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Douglas Booth22,

Quoting an entire massive post just to say "👍", "I agree," or something equally pointless is considered straight-up spam on every single sub-forum here (except for the off-topic and chat threads).
The whole point of having a topic with such a specific title is for every single post to actually add something useful to the conversation.

Look, ladies, I’m not gonna waste my breath defending old-school rules. If you truly feel passionate about certain topics, just try reaching out to the mods or admins with some solid arguments instead.

It would be awesome if we could get the Basal Measurement Temperature thread back, but maybe we keep the comments focused strictly on graph trends and specific data points, following the vibe of the discussion over on the wannabe theme. That thread helped so many girls—honestly, I bet even people who aren't even part of that group found it through a quick Google search.

Hey mods—just a little friendly nudge! A little bit of chaos, a little bit of order... that’s how you keep things interesting. 😬
MPO thread - what counts as a chat ban? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I honestly find it hard to wrap my head around how anyone could actually type out a post about someone finally sharing news about their long-awaited baby on the MPO thread.

It’s not just that you're making it sound totally trivial—like you're just chatting about what you had for lunch or complaining about the texture of some crappy takeout—it’s also that you're stripping away a huge shot of encouragement from couples who are just starting this journey.

We're talking about a group of people who already deal with so much stigma and feeling marginalized in American society; I really don't think they need to be treated like that in a space where they come specifically to find the emotional support they desperately need.

Jessica Price78 said:Does anyone have a recommendation for an orthodontist who DOESN'T just use those standard white plastic braces? I’m actually way more into the metal ones 😍 (they just look cooler to me)!

Oh, yeah, looking for someone around the Washington, D.C. area... 😉

Honestly, pretty much everyone uses the metal 😬 ones! It's just that some doctors are super pushy about convincing patients that the old-school way is "outdated" (🙄), so they end up upselling you on the Damon system. Of course, that stuff is way pricier, even if it does mean fewer check-ups at the office.

I’m currently going to IMED and I am loving it! If you want the lowdown on my experience, shoot me a DM. 🥳

So a doctor's time and expertise is just free? It just magically appeared out of thin air, right?

Look, if you're looking at getting braces, you're potentially dropping $2,000 (or way more, trust me) at an orthodontist. Those quick 10-minute consultations are basically just glorified marketing at this point. Competition is getting crazy, so clinics have to work overtime to convince you to hand over that massive pile of cash—which, by the way, definitely didn't fall from the sky either ☕ )

So, following that logic where we value time and knowledge, I'd like someone to me pay me back because I wasted my time talking to someone who has zero clue. 😬
Seriously, I went in for a consultation at a clinic that supposedly offers orthodontic services, only to find out they don't even have a single specialist on staff—not even one working as a contractor!

If you're under 18, Medicare covers the braces, but honestly? You'll be waiting forever—like, years of waiting lists.
Once you hit adulthood, though, you're on your own and paying full price at private clinics.
I don't live in Seattle, so I can't give you specific local leads, but my best advice is: don't just go for the cheapest quote you find! Seriously, go get consultations at two or three different places before you decide who gets your hard-earned cash...

Consultations really shouldn't cost you anything. If a place tries to charge you just to chat, that’s a massive red flag. Run the other way!

Good luck! 🙂
Yehane, honestly, don't even bother calling up the NASDAQ folks—it’s a total waste of breath. You gotta hit up the big news outlets instead, like USA Today, The Washington Post, or Forbes. Just make sure you give them the exact time and the specific bus route.
I know, I know, we all hate this whole "Big Brother" surveillance vibe going on lately, but seriously? You’ve gotta pull out your phone immediately, film the whole thing, and blast it everywhere. Total jerk. 🙂
Look, let’s not overthink this—honestly, whatever you're worried about happening inside your body, you've probably already guessed it right.
You're basically fueling yourself with empty calories that offer zero nutritional bang for your buck. When that happens, everything goes haywire: your circulation hits a wall, your metabolism drags its feet, toxins start piling up, and your muscles are just sitting there reacting to a super sedentary lifestyle.
If you ask me, step one should be getting a full KCC checkup. There's a huge chance your iron and HDL are running low while your blood sugar and LDL are spiking.

Step two? Get that diet on track and start moving! I’d suggest starting with some brisk walking out in nature—if you’ve got a big park or a nice trail nearby, that's perfect. It’s not just great for your physical health; it’s a total lifesaver for decompressing all that built-up stress.

You've got this! 🙂
So, yesterday was actually International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. ☕

Man, it’s such a bummer, I can't seem to find that one specific ad online—you know the one, where it says 'I only remember the happy days.' It would have been absolutely perfect for this.
Oh, come on, don't be silly! You can't seriously expect girls over here to just magically know how long your natural cycle lasts or when your fertile window actually hits.. 😁

If your cycles were already this long before you started the pill, there's a good chance you aren't even ovulating until day 30—or maybe you aren't ovulating at all. Honestly, there are like a dozen different ways that could play out.

I should probably just pass along some advice from one of our regulars who always tells women looking for a gynecological diagnosis on this forum: grab your bestie by the hand and walk into that doctor's office together. 😉
Sam White62 said:I've got these jealous hens breathing down my neck—women in their thirties who can't even land a date, yet somehow feel entitled to know every single damn detail about my pregnancy
and, of course, they have to rub my belly (&%&%$#$.

Honestly, I just don't see how being obnoxious or having zero boundaries has anything to do with being a woman in her thirties without a partner.
Asking invasive questions or touching someone without permission is just rude, period. It doesn't matter how old you are or if you're single or married. 🤷

And if we're talking about actual friends? Then I'm even more lost. 🤷
I honestly don't get why everyone is making excuses for this kind of backward thinking. People act like this stuff is just some unavoidable relic from the middle of nowhere or deep in the Central Valley, but it's just plain wrong. I actually stumbled upon a post on here recently where a woman was basically saying, "I can't even imagine being a mom to a girl... ufff. We haven't found out the sex yet, but I'm praying it's not a daughter, because that would be a nightmare." 😢 "

I don't hang out on this forum all that much, but I just had to jump in because it felt like nobody else was calling this out.

Man, that really broke my heart. 😢

Ugh, I am so incredibly sorry, but it looks like that Alphabet test didn't catch a pregnancy.

It’s totally possible you had a chemical pregnancy, so honestly, your best bet is to grab a quick appointment with your OBGYN just to be safe and get some clarity.
Lana, even a tiny little faint line counts as a pregnancy—seriously, go get a blood test at the lab to check those HCG levels. Once you do that, hold off on booking a doctor's appointment until you're around seven weeks in, because that’s usually when you can actually see the heartbeat on the ultrasound. Huge congrats! 🙂

Mark Fisher3, it’s totally possible your period is late because of those antibiotics, but you should definitely take a test just to be sure. Since you're already almost a week behind, you could just grab one of those cheap ones from the drugstore, but honestly, a Clearblue is worth it—it gives you a super clear "yes" if it's happening. Fingers crossed for you! 👋
Honestly, your post is super confusing, and I bet a bunch of other people are feeling just as lost right now. 🤷

Do me a huge favor and just lay out exactly when your last period started? Because that’s how you actually track those pregnancy weeks! It feels like there might be a little bit of a misunderstanding about how the whole process works.

I mean, if you were supposed to get your period back then, you definitely didn't conceive five weeks ago (during ovulation).
1. Honestly, that word is just gross—like, nobody here is some kind of prude (I mean, let’s be real, kids happen because of sex, not some weird binary split 😁), but that specific term is just straight-up vulgar.

2. Seriously though, your guy sounds like a total creep for trying to push that on you when you've already said no. 🙄

3.
Honestly, if I were you, I’d just start a new thread over on the Parenting subforum. Every kid is totally different, right? You'll find plenty of veteran moms there who have way more real-world wisdom than any textbook could ever offer. 😁

I really think your little one is going to bounce back perfectly fine—just gotta stay persistent and keep your chin up! You've got this. Sending so much luck your way! 🙂
Look, if your little one dealt with birth asphyxia, there’s a huge chance you’re seeing some issues with muscle tone—I bet your pediatric neurologist already gave you the lowdown on that. Honestly, don't let that part intimidate you! You’re going to need to be all over those home exercises the physical therapist prescribes. Seriously, stay on top of it! You have to be super persistent and consistent with the routine; it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Everything really just comes down to the extent of the initial injury, so my best advice? Don't wait around. Get started right now!

Arthur Lee said:It looks awesome! They say this one supports up to 240 lbs, while that elliptical over at Walmart goes up to 275... but yours honestly looks way more comfortable...
My dad is about 170 lbs and my mom is around 140 lbs, so weight limits aren't really an issue for us... I just really want to get this for them since they both want to start working out for their health. Plus, it's absolutely brutal outside with this heat, and winter is right around the corner...

Hunter mentioned it, but so did Miles.. 😬

If the one from USA says it holds 240 lbs, then it actually holds 240 lbs. A huge brand like USA isn't going to release something without testing the hell out of it first. But for that Gold model? I’d love to actually see someone weighing 275 lbs using it before I believe it.. 😉

For me, this thing is the perfect addition to my routine. Doing 30 minutes a day on yours is going to make you feel like a whole new person (not just 10 minutes like those cheesy infomercials always claim... nobody actually believes that stuff...😁 )

Honestly, I wouldn't even look at those ones they sell on TV. I’m guessing your dad isn't exactly a featherweight, and honestly, those cheap ellipticals look super flimsy to me.
I have a NordicTrack and I am seriously loving it—you can order it online through ESPN, but if I were you, I'd give them a quick call first to coordinate everything, especially if your billing address is different from where you want it delivered. Plus, it comes with a solid warranty, so if anything goes sideways, they send their own repair crew right over. Those ones from Walmart are such a headache; they just ship you a new one, which takes forever, and then if that one breaks too, you're stuck waiting on *another* replacement... it's a mess!

$200It costs more than that Gold model, but I think it's pretty obvious why it's worth the extra cash...

Let me know how the shopping trip goes! 🙂
