Man, the whole naming thing gets under my skin too... people at home keep nagging me about it, but I just shut them down real quick.🤣 I mean, I can't exactly tell them how some friend's husband sent my blood pressure through the roof one day, right? You can't just pick a name like that and expect things to be fine. Don't you think about how much kids get roasted? They'll be getting laughed at at preschool or even just out on the playground. It's like, what, am I gonna name my kid "Stupid"? Seriously...😠 Anyway, his wife is pregnant now, too, and honestly, I don't feel like it's my place to judge their choice of names. That's their business, not mine...
Looks like the whole "pregnancy perk" thing is officially dead. All those loud-mouthed activists shouting about special treatment? Total joke... 👎 Everywhere I turn, I'm just waiting for someone to give me the same look or the same pass they used to give when I actually had a bump. 😛
I wear it during the day, obviously, though honestly, this summer heat is killing me because it just sticks to my skin, ugh...😛 but I wouldn't even dream of wearing it at night. Once the sun goes down, I start feeling a bit more free without it.🤣
It’s not even that one... the eye icon is black, and it looks like someone just zoomed in on it. It isn't red like this thing here. Whatever, thanks anyway.🙂
help! Can someone point me toward a simple photo editor? I had one I loved, but I sent my laptop in for repairs and now everything's gone😠 I just remember the icon looked like some kind of circle... maybe someone knows which program I'm talking about? I'd really appreciate the help...🙂
jadecobra90 said:So, I stumbled upon this guy online who does fertility analysis based on birth dates and times. Apparently, the whole estrogen versus ovulation ratio isn't what they taught us in health class at all. Long story short, it explains why ovulation doesn't always happen on day 10-X after your period starts. It even covers those weird cases where you actually ovulate while you're still bleeding. Plus, it explains why pregnancy calculators are often totally wrong. I spent 4 or 5 years trying everything between days 10 and 17, but absolutely nothing happened. Now I’ve grabbed this calendar thing, so we'll see. According to this method, you might have "good" fertile days during a year, or you might not—basically, maybe the egg just isn't ready for fertilization. Sadly, I can't confirm if it works yet because my husband was away on a business trip all last month, but I am definitely going to make sure we hit the mark this time. I've read some skeptics' takes, but honestly, this could actually work.
Where on earth did you find that? Can you drop a link?

Seriously, we’ve done a mountain of testing—sperm counts, hormone panels, TORCH titers, hysteroscopies, HSGs, endless follicle tracking, and timing everything perfectly... you know, the whole "targeted intercourse" drill. Everything comes back looking absolutely perfect on paper, totally normal, yet we’re still staring at nothing. Still nothing.😢
Same exact story over here. We did everything by the book, signed every damn paper, and played the game just like they wanted. Now we’re sitting here thirteen months later just staring at a blank wall. Nothing. Not a single peep from them. Total radio silence.😢
Morgan Miller7 said:Oh, please... so you've never had a doctor actually suggest birth control as an option?
Nah, not really. I was on Diane-35 for a bit a few years back, but that was strictly because I had a cyst on my ovary and needed to get my cycle under control. It wasn't even about contraception, just managing the cyst.
I’m telling you, there’s definitely a connection here... My endocrinologist straight up told me that one thing triggers the other. Basically, if you’re dealing with thyroid issues, you’re almost guaranteed to run into irregular periods or all sorts of cysts—just standard gynecological chaos. And it works both ways, too. If your reproductive health is a mess, your thyroid is gonna take the hit. That’s exactly what I’ve been dealing with myself.😢
Thank God, honestly. I’ve been busting my tail over this for nothing... just total wasted effort. It’s insane how many mistakes they make without us even realizing it... absolutely pathetic!
So, I went in to get my lab results today, and wouldn't you know it—there was a total screw-up at the lab. My FSH came back at 7.2, which is technically within the normal range, but honestly? I’ve lost my mind and been a complete wreck over this. Just beautiful. It feels like these mistakes are happening more and more often lately... and when you actually ask them how they managed to mess up, they don't have a single damn answer for you.👎
My other hormone levels came back totally normal. Even my doctor was like, "Eh, maybe the lab just messed up the sample." So that's why I went ahead and had them retested.
As for paying my bills, I don't know, man—I always settle up well before the deadline... but then again, if things go south, I wouldn't even be able to post on other sites like Reddit anyway. This one is pretty much all I've got. And yeah, the homepage keeps throwing that "server is too busy" error at me constantly. Today’s the first day it actually seems somewhat functional; I can even log in and post something without it blowing up.🙂Now, we'll just have to wait and see how long this lasts...
My doctor told me I needed to get some testing done because of issues with implantation, and when he saw the results, he basically said it had to be a mistake—which was exactly what I thought the second I looked at my numbers. I’m waiting on the final lab report to come back in a few days, so then we'll see. My estradiol levels look fine. It's just the FSH that's spiked; everything else, including my thyroid hormones, is totally normal. And the thing is, I definitely ovulate. I can tell myself, and my OBGYN sees it clearly on the ultrasound, so I'm honestly just sitting here completely baffled...😢
It took me forever just to get logged back in after a few days, and even now I can barely scroll through the pages without everything glitching out. This place is a total circus... honestly, I don't think any other Reddit community is this much of a disaster...
