Ugh, they’re honestly useless. At least mine is a total waste of space.
Like, "don't lift anything, don't push anything, don't work, I'll do it"... yeah, okay, but when? When?! I can't even look at a mess that needs fixing for days on end without losing my mind, and then if I actually let someone try to fix it, they just screw everything up... seriously, what a joke... 😛I finally decided to give this vacuum a shot recently—you know, the one that's supposed to make my life easier—and what does it do? It scratches the floor everywhere. Just deep, ugly gouges left all over the laminate. And get this: I specifically asked if he pressed those little brushes down so it wouldn't scratch, and he goes, "Yeah, I did." Man, I nearly passed out right there. I've had this thing for eight years, used it for vacuuming and mopping and nothing ever happened, and now suddenly this happens. And their brilliant response? "Well, next time just do it yourself." Like, excuse me? You can't even see the scratches? If you ask me, from an airplane view, absolutely. 😍
Honestly, isn't it better to just do everything myself and have some peace? They really can be so incredibly incompetent sometimes.
I don't know who this FIGICA person thinks they are, but honestly? Just another voice shouting into the void. Typical. Everyone's got an opinion these days, right? Like they actually know what's going on. It's exhausting. Total noise. Harold Cook2 says:
Honestly, I’m starting to spiral a little. Total panic mode setting in. I’ve got this nagging feeling the baby is gonna show up way ahead of schedule, and I’ll be sitting here with absolutely nothing ready when they finally walk through the door. Everything's a mess.
I’ve got the laundry all set up and ready to go, but there's absolutely no way I'm hanging anything out. The humidity is just brutal right now—everything takes like two whole days to dry. Plus, it doesn't even get that fresh smell you get when the wind is blowing hard through the yard. To top it all off, the forecast says we're looking at nothing but rain for the next two weeks. Total bummer. 😠And then you got these people talking trash, acting like I don't need my own dryer. As if. 😠

So, my brother-in-law and his wife promised they’d hook us up with a Bedstead, but they're dragging their feet saying we have to wait a month. Like, seriously? Can't they just get it to us sooner? Then there's my mother-in-law—she was all set to give us a dresser, but now she's gone completely radio silent. Typical. 🙄Whatever, let her have it. We’ll just grab one for her once MM gets that Christmas bonus hitting the bank account.
Man, she’s already itching to go in there and fix up his little room right this second.

It honestly drives me nuts. I’m sitting here getting all hyped up, practically counting down the days to buy stuff for the baby, and he just... doesn't get it. He's totally unphased. Like, zero emotion. I mean, I get it, I really do—he's a guy—but man, it’s frustrating.

I swear, I’d give anything just to have some damn peace and quiet. If I could just plop the baby into her Bedstead and call it a day, I’d be golden. I absolutely loathe doing everything at the last minute—it's honestly the worst. But right now? Total chaos. I’ve got contractors crawling all over my rooms like they own the place, and I’m already losing my mind. To top it all off, it’s been pouring rain outside for days straight. Just constant gloom.
God, this humidity is absolutely killing me. Nothing will dry, nothing. I need to get some decent airflow through the house before the baby gets here, but everything just feels heavy and damp. It’s driving me straight up the wall... honestly, I'm losing my mind over this.
And what about the guys? They just don't get it. It’s like, I see it with my man all the time—we go out to pick stuff up together, but he couldn't care less what we grab. He just tells me, "Whatever, you choose," and that's that. We get home, and he's done with it. Me? I'm still sitting there staring at it, obsessing over every little detail, just absolutely loving it. Total different worlds, man.😍
Man, I am so incredibly wound up today, I feel like I’m actually going to lose it.😠
I went in for my endocrinology checkup—since I'm pregnant, I have to get monitored every single month—but before that, I had to swing by the front desk just to pick up some hormone lab results. I’m standing there waiting for maybe ten minutes, and the place is absolutely packed. Everyone is waiting for something, some people checking in, others waiting for blood work, and there is this huge, obvious sign right there saying "PREGNANT PATIENTS: PLEASE IDENTIFY YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY FOR PRIORITY." But no. I’m just standing there in line like everyone else because I’m not the type to push or cut, but honestly, I was just there for a quick printout, so why wait through all this chaos? I finally go over to ask the nurse if she could grab it for us, and I say, "Excuse me, I just need..." and she snaps at me instantly. She goes, "Can't you see I'm busy writing something?" So I shut up and wait. Then this lady comes up to check in, and I’m still just standing there being polite, waiting for my turn again, when suddenly this old woman just shoves her way right past me. She hits me with her wet umbrella, doesn't even apologize, and just shouts, "I just need my results!" That was it. My fuse just blew. I told her, "Lady, I've been waiting for the exact same thing, but nobody bothered to call me over!" Then the receptionist gives me this cold, rude stare, and the old lady looks at me and says, "Listen, I used to be a nurse, so I have the right to skip the line." I'm losing my mind.😠I just snapped. I said, loud enough for everyone to hear, "Well, ma'am, I'm pregnant, so apparently I don't have any rights here! The sign clearly says pregnant women get priority, but obviously, nobody cares about that!" Everyone turned to look, and people started whispering,😠"You're right, though." Finally, that rude receptionist asks what I need. I tell her, "Just my blood work, please, I have an appointment at 9:00 sharp," and it was already 8:55. I'd been sitting there for over twenty minutes just for a piece of paper. She tells me to "just wait a second," then walks off into a back room, disappears for a few minutes, and when she comes back, she acts like she can't even find my file. Unbelievable.😛She just sits back down at her computer like nothing happened. My friend was there waiting with me, and she totally lost it too. She walks up and goes, "Seriously? How are you going to treat a pregnant woman like that?" The receptionist just glares at her and goes, "What's all the rush and the drama about?" Like, excuse me? Are you kidding me? And then a third nurse comes out, looks at my stomach, and asks, "Are you here for your exam?" I tell her, "No, just the results," and she looks at me like I'm the idiot: "Why were you waiting? Why didn't you ask to go ahead of the line?" I told her I tried, but there was no one to listen. She eventually finds the folder and says to her coworker, "Did you not see she's pregnant?" I just thought, if I had been louder, maybe they would have actually done their jobs. I just said thanks and bailed. Seriously, this is insane. I've been on edge all day.

It's a total joke! They all act like they're doing you a massive favor. It's so condescending it actually scares me. I mean, who knows how these people are going to act when I actually go in to give birth? On days like this, you don't need attitude; you need someone who actually understands what you're going through.

This lady is nearly 70, claims she's a former healthcare worker from decades ago, and now she gets to shove her way to the front and grab her results instantly while I'm standing there like a fool. I'm only a month and a half away from delivery, I took the bus, walked fifteen minutes to the hospital, and then I have to wait for an appointment on top of it all, only for her to cut the line and be rude about it.😛And the worst part? That receptionist completely ignored me when I was standing right there like a ghost.😠
Man, forget about shoes—it’s an entire lifestyle choice at this point. If I have to deal with laces on some pair of sneakers, I swear, it's such a massive headache. I end up tripping over my own feet like a total amateur, looking like I've been out plowing a field or something, before I finally get my act together😛
Ugh, another day, another headache...
So I went out to grab a nursing bra, right? And this lady tries to push a larger size on me. I already have one at home—same brand, same fit—and it’s actually kind of roomy as it is. I told her, "Hey, do you have a smaller size?" and she just goes, "No, just take this one for now, your breasts will grow by the end of the pregnancy anyway." Then her coworker chimes in like, "Yeah, this one'll be perfect, maybe even a little small!" Honestly, I was starting to boil. I know my body, and my cup size actually *shrank* a size during pregnancy, it didn't grow! So I'm sitting there thinking, why would I buy something that's definitely going to be huge? But no, these crazy people start lecturing me about how I still have plenty of time left. I told her I'm only about two months in, and she hits me with, "Oh, I thought you were just starting, you don't have much of a belly yet, you must be having a girl." Like, excuse me? I'm waiting for a boy, thanks. It's enough to drive you insane. Everywhere you go, you run into these women who think they know everything. And the worst part? They aren't even grandmas, just some random women in their mid-30s acting like they're experts on my life.
Michael Barrett11 said:I’ve been dealing with these constant mood swings lately, and honestly, it’s exhausting. I feel like I've become incredibly irritable, just looking for any excuse to pick a fight all day long.

And if I’m being completely blunt, I can't stand the fact that my partner is stuck watching this absolute garbage of a game today.😠

I feel the exact same way... everything is just getting on my nerves.
Yeah, totally forgot to mention that—if you aren't planning on hitting up an OB-GYN right this second, just get the blood work done. It’s way more reliable than those cheap drugstore tests; they can see everything immediately once it's in your system.
Seriously, just get your ass to the OB-GYN ASAP

I know it sounds ridiculous saying I can't deal without sex, but my boyfriend is finally coming back home after being gone forever, and it would be such a waste if I couldn't take advantage of that.

Thanks for the help everyone 👏

maybe one day you guys will actually learn some self-control😕😂🤣

exactly. honestly, you’d be better off skipping sex for at least 24 hours before a PAP test, but since you mentioned just heading to the OBGYN, I was thinking more along the lines of a standard checkup. for those, it doesn't really matter

why the hell not?
neonwolf6 said:So, my husband and I stopped by JPMorgan Chase today to grab some paperwork, and I noticed a line of about 150 people ahead of us.😲
We eventually headed over to check out his company's office, but honestly, those women working at the teller window—the ones specifically meant to assist pregnant women—didn't even acknowledge us.🙂 🙂

Absolutely disgusting. It’s like there’s nowhere left in this country where being pregnant actually gets you any priority! Total disgrace. Just the other day, I was stuck waiting at a major hospital in Chicago for like 45 minutes just to get blood drawn so they could update my prenatal records. Some woman sees my bump and tells me babies get priority, and then this group of older ladies in the queue—there were at least 30 people there, a total circus—start chiming in saying "the baby can wait, but the old folks can't." Like, what are you even supposed to say to that?😠 When I finally get to the front, the nurse inside snaps at me, asking why I didn't follow the "wait your turn" sign on the door. I’m telling you, I thought the crowd was going to tear me apart right then and there because people were already starting to get restless...😛
Ugh, tell me about it... it’s the same old story every single day. I was at the doctor’s this morning getting blood work done, just standing there in line, when this woman I know walks up and goes, "Oh my god, I heard you're pregnant! When are you due?" So I tell her, "January." Then she starts going on about how her daughter-in-law is also due around then, but claims she's got a massive belly compared to mine and that mine is still tiny 😛 It's always some unsolicited comment or some ridiculous comparison... 😛
Nicholas Green69 said:Hey, is it actually normal to feel this incredibly weak during the early stages of pregnancy? I’m currently 7 and a half weeks along, and since yesterday, I’ve just been feeling absolutely terrible—I have zero energy to do anything other than lie down, and the nausea is hitting me pretty hard too. It's exhausting. I have an appointment scheduled with my OB-GYN tomorrow, though I can't help but wonder if I should have just rushed to the clinic today given how poorly I'm feeling.
There isn't any physical pain, per se, but this weakness and fatigue...

It’s totally normal, but seriously, go get some blood work done just to be safe. I went through the exact same thing at the start, and it even hit me again recently. This time, my labs were a mess—my iron levels tanked and my red blood cell count was low, which left me feeling completely wiped out. All I want to do is eat pickles. Sometimes I feel like I've had a massive jolt to my system, my body starts shaking, I go pale... I was stuck in one of those episodes from like 2 PM until now, and I'm only just starting to feel human again.
Michael Barrett11 said:I had this encounter with a pregnant woman this past Saturday night that honestly left me feeling pretty frustrated.
She was standing right outside a bar where some loud karaoke party was going on inside; she was just leaning against the wall, looking perfectly fine and healthy, but she had a cigarette in her hand. I guess I just found the whole sight incredibly disappointing... and it definitely rubbed me the wrong way. 😠

Man, that stuff drives me absolutely insane too. The other day I’m walking with my crew through the park, right? And there’s this young mom sitting there, her little two-year-old is playing in the sandbox, and she’s just sitting there puffing away on a smoke. Her belly is huge, too. It’s just gross. Seriously, seeing that is so nasty.😛
Quote:As for why everyone else is acting so shocked... I don't even know.

Honestly, 🤷Noah
is getting way too common lately. Like, seriously. I know three little kids born just in the last couple of years who all go by Noah. Back when we were trying to figure out if we were having a boy or a girl, we kept tossing names around, and we all agreed Noah was pretty, but maybe just a bit too trendy...
I mean, personally, I don't actually know a single kid named Noah (well, except for this one massive goofball dog in my neighborhood😂), but I couldn't care less. It’s not like it’s some lame dog name compared to all the other ridiculous pet names out there. And yeah, sure, maybe it's popular. I see all these celebs naming their sons Noah everywhere, but honestly? Who cares? Every name goes through these phases where they blow up, and eventually, it'll just be another common name on the list.
Ugh, I’m seriously losing my mind today... I just have to vent about this...😠 So, I’m talking to my mother-in-law, right? And I mention that we’re heading out to pick up some little things for my uncle’s gift. She hits me with this, "Don't bother buying too much, you know people will bring stuff when they come to visit." Like, seriously?😵 As if I’m just sitting here with my arms crossed waiting for handouts. And even if someone *does* want to bring something, they aren't showing up before the baby is born—I told her, it'll be at least a month and a half after, and until then, I’ll be dressing the kid in hand-me-downs... honestly, people can be so incredibly shortsighted. Then we get onto the topic of diapers, and I tell her I need to grab some cloth ones too, and she's like, "Why bother with cloth? Nobody uses those anymore, just stick to disposables." Well, excuse me, but I need to have them ready at least two months before the pediatrician checks the baby's hips. And then she starts making excuses, saying this is her first time hearing about it, that her 9 and 11-year-old grandkids didn't use them, and even her three sons thirty years ago didn't use them... God, give me strength, I'm about to lose it.😠 I swear my blood pressure is through the roof right now. If I don't know something or if I'm not following the "old way," I could at least try to be subtle about it, right?
Look, I’ve always dealt with constant food cravings, even back before I was pregnant. During the first trimester, it was absolutely relentless—just non-stop. Even now, they still catch me off guard, and when a craving hits, it’s like a marathon; I can’t stop for two or three days straight. I’ve tried everything under the sun. I popped all kinds of pills and supplements, but honestly? Total waste of time. I read somewhere once that almonds might actually help, so I started snacking on them, and I gotta tell you... it’s been a total lifesaver. They seriously take the edge off.
So, some guy from work—one of those dudes who just got back from a two-week vacation and hasn't seen anyone in ages—is over at my place. I’m just chilling on the couch next to my husband when this guy turns to him and asks, "So, is your wife still knocked up or what?" Like, seriously? My skin crawled immediately. 😠 What a total tool. Such a low-class way to ask a question. Could he not have phrased it better? Like, "How's the pregnancy going?" or something... but no, "Is she still carrying?" Give me a break. 😛 There are just endless idiots out there. I actually told the guy, "Well, why didn't you just ask if she was still expecting? Or how the pregnancy is treating her?" But men, man... they're all the same, too afraid to look awkward in front of a coworker. 😠
I mean, I wouldn't dream of asking someone if their wife needs to go give birth. You use actual words.
Tyler Ruiz502 said:Come on, I'm dying to know—what name did you guys end up going with?..
Look at our guy's signature down there 😁 and, honestly, we never dealt with those kinds of aggressive comments... it was mostly just people being genuinely puzzled; like, "Wait, how? Why? Where did that come from?" Or, since the name is a bit unconventional, people who actually appreciate unique names were super supportive and told him he nailed it. Truth be told, a few people thought it was ugly and said so, but it was just an honest opinion, nothing more. And frankly, why should we care what they think? 🙂
I honestly can't imagine anyone being so aggressive about forcing their opinions on others like you all are describing here. 🤷

My husband and I agreed that if it's a girl, he decides, and if it's a boy, I decide—since my turn came up, I'll admit none of the masculine names are absolutely gorgeous to me, but I narrowed it down and would go with Noah, short and sweet and fine by me. And now people are acting shocked😛 like I just said something offensive or disgusting... but I'm the one carrying him for 9 months, I'm the one doing all the work to bring him into this world, so I'm the one deciding... right?

boldheron48 said:Back when I was six months along, they were all like, "My goodness, look at that bump!"image
But now that I'm only a month away, it's suddenly—"so small a belly"??image

I mean, who actually cares how big my stomach is? It's never enough for them; either it's too small or it's too big... anything to avoid saying something normal. Or they could just stay quiet...image

I can't stand those nosy neighbors back home...image I've decided I'll jump off a balcony while I still have healthy hips and all my own teeth... I refuse to ever turn into one of those judgmental old ladies myself...image

It also totally drives me nuts when they tell me, "Oh wow, you're pregnant? We can't even tell..." and I'm already 6 months along...😠
