Even though I have already utilized mine twice this season—including one instance where it actually secured me a victory—😁 it feels somewhat inherently flawed, does it not? To my mind, consistency should be one of the primary qualities we seek to reward. Missing a single race shouldn't necessarily cause such a dramatic shift in standings; for instance, I didn't participate in the first two races at all, yet here I am leading the pack. If there are others who share this sentiment, perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider adjusting these rules, if only for the upcoming season.
Bottas Hamilton 2nd Hamilton 3rd, Verstappen Albon 4th. Perez 5th. Ricciardo 6th. Ricciardo 7th, Norris Sainz 9th, Vettel Sainz 9th, Vettel Leclerc finished 10th. Stroll 11th. Could one even begin to fathom the sheer unpredictability of today's race, and does anyone else find themselves wondering why Pierre Gasly ended up finishing 12th? Kimi Räikkönen 13th. Could one even begin to fathom how the race unfolded for Giovinazzi, who ultimately finished 14th? Romain Grosjean 15th. George Russell 16th.
Latifi DNF Kvyat DNF Ocon DNF Magnussen PP
Is there any possibility that we might actually see Hamilton take a podium spot today, perhaps even securing a win if the circumstances align just right? It seems quite plausible that he could finish with a podium position. Hamilton FL, Ricciardo

If you take a look at section 13 of the regulations, wouldn't you say it clearly states: How exactly does one determine the final standings in this competition? It seems to me that the official results are calculated based strictly upon those preliminary rankings released by the FIA immediately following the conclusion of the race. Is it not standard practice to rely on that initial order? So, you find yourself staring at a document titled "provisional classification" hosted right here on this webpage: Does anyone else find themselves wandering through these official FIA technical briefings and feeling a sense of profound disorientation, much like one might feel while navigating the labyrinthine halls of the Library of Congress? I have been attempting to parse through the latest updates regarding the upcoming racing schedule, and yet, the more I read, the more I find myself questioning whether the complexity of these regulations serves to elevate the sport or merely to obscure the raw essence of competition under a mountain of bureaucratic fine print. Is it not curious how we demand transparency from our governing bodies, only to be met with such dense, impenetrable prose that requires a specialized degree just to understand the implications for the drivers? One wonders if the true spirit of the race—that visceral, heart-pounding connection between man and machine—is being slowly suffocated by this endless stream of administrative adjustments. Does anyone else feel this weight, or am I perhaps overthinking the structural evolution of the series?

Does one receive 4 points if both are correctly predicted, or is it 4 points for the FL and 4 points for the PP separately?
And regarding those 2 bonus points, how exactly does that calculation work? The rules seem somewhat ambiguous to me, or perhaps it is just my own lack of clarity on the matter. 😁
maminho still has hope; you should expect miracles before Friday rolls around. 😉
It is individual. If she manages to nail just one of those two categories, she earns 4 points. However, if both are successfully predicted, she receives 10 points (that would be 4+1 and 4+1).

And so you simply choose to continue ignoring me, I suppose? It seems you have no interest in engaging in any meaningful dialogue through an intermediary 🙄
The subject you're complaining about is actually just a general chat thread, much like our other PDF discussion boards where the atmosphere is significantly more relaxed and the primary goal is simply to engage in some lighthearted banter.
As for those other topics you mentioned—specifically the Formula 1 trivia quizzes and the various Q&A sessions—if they don't align with your personal preferences, then perhaps the simplest solution would be to merely refrain from participating in them altogether.

They argued that the Prequels remain just as flawed today as they were when they first hit theaters. When you sit down and really ponder that logic, isn't there a profound truth to it? If something is considered subpar by today's standards, does its failure necessarily elevate something from the past to a higher status? Not necessarily, right?
In my honest opinion, these modern Star Wars entries are even more of a disaster than the Prequels were.
