Recently, Blažičko completely botched a statement regarding Michael Schumacher and his final hat-trick, which got me thinking—maybe someone actually whispered the right stat to him. 😳

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aside from the fact that he clearly follows this forum or gets briefed by someone (he brings up those statistics far more often than I would ever bother to look them up), it seems he has a little circle over at the StudioF1 forums feeding him all sorts of nonsense. 🙂

Jason Campbell70 said:If I recall correctly, the last time we saw a driver pull off a true "hat-trick"—taking pole, the fastest lap, and the win—was Michael Schumacher back at the 2006 French Grand Prix, right before the Monza race.

There’s no denying it: Ferrari is on a massive upward trajectory.
They didn't just win at Monza, one of the fastest tracks on the calendar with its low downforce setup; they also managed to conquer the street circuit in Singapore.

As for McLaren? It’s looking like a total repeat of the 2007 season. 🙂

They’re sidelining the defending champion and handing the top driver seat to Luis Retardos, who seems determined to mess up every single opportunity he gets. 🤣🤣🤣🙏

Actually, Vettel did it at Silverstone 2009. ☕

And wouldn't you know it, Alonso managed to pull that off twice after your mentioned one, specifically at Monaco and Monza 2007, plus once earlier at Silverstone 2006. So, that would make this his fifth career hat-trick today, wouldn't it? 🙏

Then there's also Button in Malaysia 2009, Hamilton in Japan 2007 and China 2008, along with Massa in Bahrain/Spain 2007 and Valencia/Brazil 2008.

That brings us to a total of 13 hat-tricks since that last one from Schumacher. 😉

I actually think it might have been more dangerous to pull into the pit lane with a burning car than to just clip the barrier like he did here. 😉

The local forecast is calling for plenty of rain right during qualifying🙏🙏🙏🙏
United States GP - Sep 26, 2010 in Formula 1 ·
The track is still damp, though the rain has finally let up for now. We’re looking at a wet third practice session—so I’d say we should expect to see Mercedes sitting right at the top of the charts—but the real question is what the qualifying conditions will actually look like. If the skies stay clear, we might get a dry surface, or at least a dry racing line, but if the clouds open up again? Well, then we’re in for quite a show. 😁 😁

Is the new Formula 1 track actually worth it? in Formula 1 ·
wearyheron29 said:It’s being rolled out the Texas way: the state coughs up $250 million for construction, hands over the land for free, and then private investors swoop in to grab all the profit. Meanwhile, the state budget is running an $18 billion deficit—they’re slashing social programs and laying off government workers, yet somehow there’s plenty of cash left for Formula 1 😕
.
They just released the official track layout today, so... good luck to us, I guess.

P.S. Why isn't anyone in office mentioning the oil and gas pipelines running right under the proposed track site? Is that actually 100% safe, or are we just pretending?

And what’s actually going to happen? Are the cars going to cause enough vibrations to rattle the sand trucks driving on the road, or is that really the worst-case scenario?
Appeal for ban removal from the IT/Power User subforum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
nimblegull23 said:I fully grasp how serious this issue is. The partial ban happened because of a series of rushed decisions—some of which were definitely my fault—but I have to admit, my colleague Jason Campbell70 earned it.
At the next meeting of the troll corner leadership at Safe Location 1 (SL1), I’m going to suggest to the rest of the moderators that we temporarily lift his restriction.

For now, he’ll lose his access again if he posts even a single thing in the chat thread, though he remains perfectly free to share his expertise over on the NK subforums.

Best regards,

nimblegull23

You actually gave me an idea here. 🤣🤣🤣

Jason Campbell70 said:Saying "mistybear87 isn't cool" doesn't cross any lines by any reasonable standard. 😁
I could have easily directed that sentiment toward anyone else involved in this thread (and frankly, I have with a few people). 😁

So what? 🤷

Especially since you were the one who suggested this specific chat thread was supposed to be "a bit more relaxed" than the others here.

Trying to play the victim feels a little hypocritical when you’re simultaneously preaching the idea that if someone can't take a joke, that's on them.

Look, I've made my peace with what I said; feel free to carry on however you like. 👋

Jason Campbell70 said:Not cool.

So, in your eyes, a warning is perfectly acceptable?

EDIT - Or rather, just to clarify my point—is it against the rules to tell a moderator "that's not cool" in a general discussion thread?

Let me give you my take on this.

It doesn't really matter what the topic is or who we're talking about. If someone feels targeted, insulted, or just generally disrespected, they can report the post and ask for action, and then measures will be taken. It won't always result in a formal strike, but it certainly can. That's just the fundamentals of online moderation.☕

If a post is aimed directly at me and I feel singled out or insulted, I’m going to step in. It might not always lead to a penalty, but it could.

Jason Campbell70 said:It’s pure incompetence within a team, much like what we're seeing at Red Bull this year.

When that happened a couple of years ago, I felt the exact same way.

You have two massive egos in the garage, constantly clashing and sabotaging each other, while the third driver cruises to the championship.

That's exactly how this season seems to be playing out so far.🤣

and far too often at Williams 😢

redheron12 said:This subforum is basically full of conspiracy theorists—last year, everyone was convinced every new user was some kind of bot, though they couldn't even agree on whose clone it actually was.

It seems this year, everyone is obsessed with finding hidden team orders in every single radio transmission.

Look, just tell me—if Sebastian Vettel is sitting in 3rd, five seconds back, while Mark Webber is in 6th, over twenty seconds behind him, but right on the heels of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton... what's the point of slowing down for Vettel? Isn't the actual goal to take points away from McLaren and close that gap?

Come on, man, take off those rose-colored glasses and see things for what they really are. Isn't God merciful to us all? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
