Anyone got recommendations for a TV or monitor around 30-35 inches?

Mainly looking for a monitor—this would be my primary screen, with the laptop acting as the second one.

Since our home office doubles as a guest room, it’ll pull double duty as a TV occasionally, though that’s not a dealbreaker.

Budget—honestly, I have no clue what the current market looks like... something mid-range should be fine.

Should I try Dubrava Basketball Club or is there something closer? I followed that exact guide—did everything by the book. Nothing spilled, nothing leaked onto the keys. I actually took the whole thing apart and cleaned it out two months ago, and honestly, I barely even touch it now... it mostly just sits in my bag. If I’ve used it more than five times, I’d definitely know. I’ve already tried every single "fix" Google keeps throwing at me.

As for the drivers, I grabbed the official ones from the Dell website. Usually, once I reinstall, everything just works. Which other ones am I supposed to be messing with?

I've had this laptop for about 5 years now—mostly running original Windows 7 Home Premium—and it’s been pretty solid. Recently, I did a fresh install of Windows, also original, but in my rush, I didn't get an antivirus set up immediately... ended up picking up some garbage software that broke my Fn key.

So, I went ahead and wiped the entire drive, partitioned everything, reinstalled original Windows 7, and grabbed all the drivers from the official site including the Dell SupportAssist, but the Fn key still isn't working. Now I'm stuck wondering if it's a hardware issue with the keyboard itself, if that malware actually caused damage, or if I'm just dealing with some weird, exotic glitch...

What I've tried so far:
- Installing Dell SupportAssist in Program Files x86 and Program Files, multiple reinstalls, the whole nine yards
- Setting the HID service to automatic start

The Fn key won't work with any combination—can't toggle Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mute audio, adjust brightness, nothing. What gives? I haven't moved any files over from an external drive, so this was a totally clean install with fresh drivers, yet things are somehow worse...

It’s not even my rig—a friend asked me for advice, and honestly, I didn't have much of a clue beyond telling them to just buy a new PC or max out the RAM 🙂 so that's why I'm asking here.

They aren't looking to drop a ton of cash right now—money is tight—so we're basically just trying to patch this thing up to keep it somewhat functional on Windows XP... as much as possible.

I need some advice on upgrading this old rig. Mount Everest says this is what's inside:











Right now it's running Windows XP 🙄 and I want to upgrade it so it actually runs Windows 7 or 8.1 smoothly—also, which one should I go with and why? It's nothing crazy, just basic stuff... it handles Call of Duty 4, SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD just fine currently, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Would adding another 2 GB stick of RAM be enough? What should I even look for when buying one—any specific specs to watch out for?

So, just like the title says, my webcam isn't working right. Skype picks it up fine, Facebook video chat works perfectly, even those weird photo filter sites... everything works except for macOS.

To be clear—it’s not macOS itself, it’s just that whenever I try to install any of the 6 or 7 versions of the FaceTime HD Camera app I have lying around (whether from the official site or some random corner of the web), it just throws this error at me:



Device Manager shows it's there, claims the drivers are up to date, and I've already tried the usual nonsense—uninstalling/reinstalling, right-click "run as admin," all that.

This is a fresh installation of original macOS, so I honestly have no clue where the screw-up is happening.
