Fuck Dana White: negotiations, contracts, coke, and hookers in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
Well, they're in the middle of negotiations right now. The old contract expired, and the whole conflict stems from what comes next with the new one. 🤔

Beyond that, fighters really need to be careful about signing too many fights at once, even if it does offer some financial security.

Obviously, competitors aren't going to offer better terms out of the goodness of their hearts; it's all about self-interest. That's just how market competition works.

The Light Heavyweight division is pretty mediocre anyway, doesn't really matter 😬

That's a fair question 🧐

It's possible they figured it would just serve as motivation for him 😬

Big John and Little Josh are just speculating here, saying Dana White definitely sent that email about the lawsuit to Francis right before the fight just to mess with his head and tank his chances. 😬

Classic move by the boss. 😍

The UFC business model is basically just a knockoff of WWE at this point.🕺

It comes with the exact same perks and headaches—think monopolies, athlete health concerns, and shady pay structures.

I guess I’m starting to find Frank a little more likable again 😬

I honestly thought we were only being bankrolled by Soros, the Masons, and the Democratic Party, but it looks like the Scientologists just added their names to the tab too. 🧐
Best audio editing software? in Software ·
It’s possible, within reason. It really depends on the interference you're dealing with and the quality of your raw files. Most stuff pulled from YouTube isn't exactly studio-grade, and it’s usually mono, which makes it much harder to clean up a vocal without accidentally wrecking the guitar tracks too.
That said, you don't need fancy paid software, and you aren't going to become an expert overnight just by messing around with it. Honestly, if you can afford it, it's probably better to just hire a professional audio engineer—someone legitimate, not some guy tinkering in his garage.

Full disclosure: I haven't worked in this field for quite a while. Technology moves fast, so there might be automated tools now that handle things we used to have to do manually.
Reddit anonymity in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Keeping 99% of your data private or staying anonymous really comes down to "self-discipline," if that’s even a priority for you.

If you spend enough time posting online, you’ll eventually leave enough breadcrumbs that someone could connect the dots—either directly or indirectly—if they follow the same threads and have a decent memory. That’s assuming they’re actually stalking you, which I don't think is happening here.
People track each other privately too, so if one person figures something out, others usually will shortly after.

The forum itself offers very few tools that would allow someone to identify you electronically. Most leaks are just due to personal carelessness, like signing up with a work email that includes your full name and employer.
The moderators aren't hackers, private investigators, or the CIA; we don't exactly have deep-level surveillance software baked into our job description, let alone the average user.

The forum guarantees privacy only insofar as you can choose to be anonymous if you want to, and by preventing the public posting of your personal info if you didn't volunteer it yourself—even if someone manages to figure out who you are.
But we can't stop someone from deducing your identity, which happens more often than you'd think. Even if a fellow member actually finds out where you're from, they haven't technically broken any rules by knowing it, so there's nothing for us to sanction. We aren't authorized to perform lobotomies or decapitations just to wipe information from people's heads.

Generally speaking, you should approach the idea of internet anonymity with a heavy dose of skepticism. To get anywhere close to true privacy, you either need massive personal effort and high-level IT literacy, or you just stay off the web entirely. Since most of us aren't involved in international crime and we don't live in a dictatorship, maintaining a high level of anonymity isn't worth the hassle or the loss of convenience for most people.

In short—if you are extremely sensitive about privacy:
1) Minimize your internet usage and beef up your IT skills.
2) Turn off the internet, which means ditching smart devices, modern cars, and so on.

Otherwise, just assume that true privacy doesn't exist at practically any level of online activity—from your service provider and marketing firms to the people you're talking to who might unmask you through indirect means.
Browsing the open internet all day via a standard connection, using Windows and Google, on a branded laptop you bought legally with your own credit card while writing extensively about your ideas and life... it’s fundamentally incompatible with total anonymity. It’s not worth the mental energy.

The forum isn't responsible for this. Your level of online security—mine included—is probably low enough that it wouldn't take much effort to uncover anything. More often than not, things get exposed purely by accident without anyone even trying.

You should grab an Indric and head over to Kafen with me. Once you get settled in there, things tend to get a little soft—like cheap cardboard. You’ll end up posting some absolute nonsense online, and before you know it, you're stuck footing the bill for everyone.
Don't try to sell me on getting rich by betting twenty grand on a muscle.

Oh, look at that. Did someone get their old handle back? 😍

Hellboy said:I'm just sitting here watching some footage from the Freedom Festival. Honestly, I can't help but be a little curious. 2:43:15 Some priest is talking:

So, Father, why was I barely able to get my kid signed up for religious studies?

That priest and his bunch of heretics are a little misguided. It reminds me of those scientists who lost their way: "Science is built on doubt and the constant pursuit of evidence. Any science that refuses to ask questions or embrace skepticism isn't actually science." 🤣 Way to go, Pope! That’s how you do it. Honestly, if he doesn't tell people they need to be skeptical, who will?

The anti-vax movement here in America is such a strange phenomenon to me. You have the Pope—both current and emeritus—backing the vaccines, and even our local bishops are firmly in favor of the shots and the safety measures. Yet, there’s this specific group of priests and vocal laypeople in the media who take the opposite side. They represent their views quite clearly, even if they try to wrap them up in religious rhetoric to appeal to the Catholic community. 🤔
I get the feeling they mostly lean toward the more conservative side of the political spectrum within the church.

Not really, there aren't any.

I honestly don't know how anyone manages to moderate this entire collection of anti-universe paranoid delusions and hyper-frustrated people lacking basic emotional regulation without a clone. It makes total sense why they use a moderator buffer 🤷

I'm really not sure why Doduse is even allowed to post here, but hey, I guess they’re being pretty liberal over there 😳

Well, they certainly put in the effort 😁
The question doesn't really hold water because:

- this isn't just some specific human trait; it’s a fundamental characteristic of the entire living world—of life itself.
- it isn't a matter of choice. Given the above, it's simply an inherent part of existence.
- it’s never an either-or scenario. Social animals possess both competitive drives and cooperative impulses. That's probably why we even bother with these false dichotomies in the first place. Cooperation actually serves the purpose of competition; it's not an alternative to it.

I don't know much about Taekwondo, but I get the feeling they hand out medals like candy. It seems like everyone walks away with one, and they often win big in countries that aren't exactly sporting powerhouses. 🤔

Am I misreading the situation, or is there actually a reason for this?
Why am I banned again? When will my ban be lifted? in Banned Users Corner ·
Playing the fool might actually net you a few extra points.

Besides, if the same old excuses haven't worked, and all those warnings and bans didn't fix things the last few times, they aren't going to work now.

To be honest, I was leaning toward siding with you and a handful of other resident trolls before I became a moderator over on the combat boards, but brisktrucker51 is much more patient and willing to give people second chances, so here you are.

Though, his patience probably won't last forever.
