Membership:
To join the Club card program, there is a one-time fee of $67 due at checkout.
That $67 actually includes 1 kg of Whey concentrate. Once you're in, all subsequent orders qualify for the exclusive Club card member discounts.

Now this looks pretty great.😲

The price point seems fair enough. 🙏

Can anyone share the nutritional breakdown for some of these?

Is Pro Nutrition just rebranding existing supplements?

Paul Miller64 said:Nah, Scitec is honestly one of the biggest wastes of money out there.

Aside from Biotech, I don't think there are any other brands you actually need to "avoid at all costs." (And let's be real, Biotech can pull off a solid product now and then 😉).

Scitec is just a perfectly average manufacturer. If someone takes "average" as an insult, they're missing the point.
Most people won't even notice the difference.

The most?
Maybe 6 miles, give or take a bit.

I’m ready to run 12 miles😁

Unfortunately, we've heard that one far too many times before.

I think this might be the latest update:

ambercrane32 said:How do you pick the right whey? I'm running a 3-day abs routine and was told to take whey with it—something clean, both before and after training, since my sessions last about an hour. I don't want to pack on fat like crazy, but I also don't want to overspend... say, looking at $50 for 500g or just a bottle of capsules.

any decent whey will get the job done.

Aim for something more budget-friendly, like Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey.

I think it's about $53 2 lbs

There’s this YouTube link floating around where Ronnie Coleman dumps about 200 grams of protein into his post-workout meal.😁

Unless I make it at home using a dedicated blender or even just an immersion blender, it never turns out right. That’s why I always prep it at home and bring it with me. I don't know how you guys manage to get it smooth just by shaking it manually.😢

That really depends on the specific brand of Protein you're using.

goldenangler4 said:Has anyone else dealt with breakouts after using PWM?

I started drinking PWM (Glucose + Whey) and my skin just went downhill. Acne, red spots... I don't have any known allergies. As soon as I stopped, everything went back to normal.

Which Whey are you using?

It’s probably either a lower-quality brand, or you're reacting to a specific ingredient—likely some preservative or other junk.

My strategy? Mix a bit of the "real" stuff into the Dollar General tub... just to keep the peace at home.

😬

Honestly, though, anything from Dollar General is better than nothing at all.🤣

I haven't heard a single good thing about those Dollar General brands.😁

Besides, aren't they actually pricier than actual whey?

Unrealistic movie tropes and plot holes in Movies ·
goldenhound32 said:From the era of the 555 prefix convention all the way to the sheer absurdity surrounding firearms...

It's all just one big collection of tropes we've come to expect.

To start things off, here is a little copy-paste I found on a site:

Silencers on revolvers

Only an idiot would ever attempt to put a silencer on a revolver. Silencers are designed for semi-automatic pistols where the gases vent through the barrel; with a revolver, the gas escapes from the cylinder gap, which is essentially wide open.

The empty gun

We have all sat through those scenes where the protagonist—or more often the villain—presses a pistol against someone's head after a long, completely unnecessary monologue, only to pull the trigger and hear a hollow 'click,' revealing the gun was empty. It's another tired cliché. When a semi-auto runs dry, the slide locks back in that position. Furthermore, the firing mechanism locks up, so you wouldn't get a rhythmic clicking sound upon pulling the trigger. Anyone with half a brain can tell if an automatic is empty just by looking at it.

Super-precise snipers

Movie snipers always aim directly for the head, with their crosshairs perfectly centered on the target. Sure, you could do that, but only if the target is within 100 yards. A real sniper has to account for windage, distance, air pressure, and humidity. Under ideal conditions, a sniper will actually aim slightly above the target rather than directly at it. And one more thing: actual snipers aim for the torso, almost never the head.

Clouds of gunpowder smoke

This is the kind of mistake that creeps into the work of writers. The phrase 'the stench of cordite' shows up constantly in cheap crime novels, but cordite has nothing to do with modern ammunition. Cordite was a component of gunpowder used in the late 19th century and hasn't been relevant for ages.

Pump-action shotgun repetition

We’ve all seen this one. After dropping a gritty line like 'Go ahead, make my day,' the hero pumps the shotgun and kills the villain, the monster, the alien, Little Red Riding Hood, or whatever else is standing in their way. This implies only one thing: there wasn't a shell in the chamber. By pumping the shotgun, they are chambering a round; if the hero had pulled the trigger before that, absolutely nothing would have happened.

Side-shooting

If you ever find yourself holding a handgun, try shooting while holding it out to the side of your body. You’ll miss the target by two miles. It looks great on screen, but it bears zero resemblance to reality. There is a reason we hold a gun at eye level and in front of us—it's the only way to actually hit anything. Shooting from the hip gives you about the same chance of hitting something as a long shot at a casino. Slim.

Pressing against the wall

Police officers creep along, guns drawn, scraping their backs against the walls. It doesn't work that way. Real cops fire a few shots and then immediately seek substantial cover. After that comes the shouting and the intimidation to get criminals to surrender. Walls, especially in the US, aren't thick enough to stop a bullet, and bullets have a nasty habit of ricocheting off walls and floors.

Are you serious?🙄
