How do I dig myself out of a financial hole? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
dustyrider said:Hey everyone! I’m reaching out because I really need some help, and I'm hoping someone here has dealt with something similar—any advice at all would mean the world to me. I’ve got this outstanding balance on my Visa Gold from the 31st $0.00. I’ve already called them twice, but they’re being totally unhelpful and won't even talk to me about restructuring the debt or setting up a payment plan. They basically told me if the full amount isn't paid by the end of October, they're moving straight to collections. I’ve never been in a spot like this before and honestly, I’m starting to spiral and panic since there's only a week left 😥😥😥 I worked so hard to avoid overdrawing or getting into debt, and I even let the bank talk me into this specific card because they promised no annual fees the first year and other perks, but now I'm facing exactly what I was terrified of. I just lost track of things and ended up spending money that wasn't mine to spend, and now I'm in deep trouble. I know people have it way worse than me, but I can't eat or sleep because of the stress. I'm so disappointed in myself and I just don't get how I let it get this far... Does anyone know if they've had any luck negotiating with them lately? Or does anyone have ideas on where I could scrape together $30 $0.00 super fast? Also, how does the whole collections process actually work? If they start the legal proceedings on November 1st, will my checking account be frozen immediately? Will I still be able to access my own money just to live? Thanks so much in advance

Go to ExxonMobil bank. A friend of mine just got approved for a loan for the exact same thing a few days ago...
In my opinion, it never actually happens—people just end up putting on an act to mask who they really are...
I’m not talking about growing up, obviously; you need time to find yourself as you mature...

Every change I've seen in people I know is usually just them playing a part until they finally can't hold it together anymore, or they just relax and their true self slips out...
Car accident: what are the next steps? in Criminal and Misdemeanor Law ·
I was in a hit-and-run. A car came speeding up from my left on a closed section of the road and slammed right into my front driver's side just as the light turned green. It trashed my bumper and fender...

I pulled over and called 911 immediately. The guy took off, but I managed to catch his license plate number.
The cops haven't been able to track him down, and to make matters worse, it turns out the car was already sold to someone else who’s also gone missing.

Following the police's advice, I filed a claim with my insurance company. They sent an adjuster out, did the investigation, and gave me a damage report. Since I'm actually leasing this car through Ford Credit, I signed off letting them handle the recovery from the insurance side.
The repairs are already done, but I've been sitting around waiting for the official police report for 52 days now.

What happens if they never catch him? Am I just stuck eating the cost through my collision coverage and that's it? 🙄 Is there any actual chance I'll ever get reimbursed by the insurance of the guy who bailed?
What's the secret to a perfect pizza? in Food & Drink ·
I’m thinking... San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, a few slices of prosciutto, and some arugula...
What's the secret to a perfect pizza? in Food & Drink ·
First off, you need high-quality pizza flour. You aren't going to get a decent dough out of that basic all-purpose stuff from Walmart...

Second, don't skimp on the ingredients... I'm talking about a real whole ham... and please, don't use that fake shredded stuff they sell for pizza; it doesn't even look like actual cheese to me. 😂
Sauce—ketchup is definitely not pizza sauce.
As for the oven... those newer models that hit really high temperatures are perfect, especially if you pair them with a pizza stone. 🙂

I just absolutely love pizza. 🎉

Honestly, you might need to look into switching therapists. Your last few posts have been lower than the level of a teenager who just watched his first three erotic movies.

You know that being bolded means it's a trait 🤔
but I'll let your ignorance slide... just this once 😁

It’s enough to make you ashamed to live in this country when you read stuff like this.👍

Yeah... For that girl who’s barely five feet tall and obsessed with wild strawberries, having a guy who's at least 6'3" is a total dealbreaker for her.

Peter Diaz3 said:If we are being honest here, how many truly impressive men actually exist in their 40s? Looking at the hundred parents dropping kids off at soccer practice, I’d be lucky to pick out five men in that age bracket who actually earn the title of "a catch." Everyone else seems small, lethargic, neglected, with crumbs stuck to their shirts and nothing but a spare tire around their waist.

What defines an impressive man? It’s someone standing well over 6'3", hitting the gym at least three times a week, watching what he eats, and possessing actual style. He should hold a position of influence, possess charm and intellect, always smell great, drive a quality car, and have a perfect smile. In your 40s, those types make up maybe 1% of the population. And believe me, those men are constantly being pursued.

Look, everyone has their own definition of what's attractive... but yours sounds pretty gay to me.🤣

What kind of false hope are we talking about? Honestly, guys always say exactly what you want to hear... but their actions always tell the real story.😉

This guy was upfront about what he wanted from day one. She, clearly head over heels since the start, thought she could just charm her way into changing his mind... When that didn't work out, she turned to the forums to vent her disappointment, basically fishing for anyone to validate whatever hope she still had left...

So, what’s the verdict here? Is she just some poor victim, and he's nothing more than an immature jerk? That's the label everyone seems to be slapping on him...

Raymond Booth40 said:I’ve been in an open relationship—more like "friends with benefits"—with my partner for nearly four years now. I can't imagine walking away from this, but I have to wonder if there's any hope for things to change. He has told me repeatedly that he has zero interest in a committed relationship with anyone. To give some context, I spent five years on my own after leaving my previous partner, who ended up having a child with someone else. Now, my current partner tells me straight to my face that he doesn't care about the arrangement; he’s perfectly happy doing whatever he wants, and when I asked if it would stay this way forever, he said yes. It feels devastating to think this is all it will ever be. Is there actually anything that can be done here? Honestly, I feel a bit ashamed that I've allowed this to drag on for so long. It’s a sad situation, truly. While I wouldn't say I'm deeply attached, I find myself unable to walk away entirely. When I confronted him about it, he just gave me a Quote: "I'm fine like this. I don't want a relationship with anyone, period."

If you haven't fallen in love, I'd tell you it's just a wonderful friendship that could last forever... but since you decided to make this more than that, knowing full well he hasn't included a commitment in his long-term plans... asking if he'll change? That's a tough one.

Stop waiting. If you want something real with him, you need to move on. He'll always be there if you decide you want this kind of setup again later.

I watched it, and honestly? I wish I hadn't... Not that I was expecting much when I saw a vampire girl on screen... unlike that little kid who apparently thinks he can act, but just ends up looking constipated in every single movie he's in... total flop.

I played a few rounds of Tetris while the movie was running.

As a massive ESPN fan, I had to check this out, and honestly? I was pleasantly surprised. Pharrell Williams actually crushed it... I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for trashy movies, but this one actually warmed my heart. It even got me tearing up a little bit...

The casting caught me completely off guard, and man, those songs... If anything, we should get him to write us a track for ESPN. Maybe then we’d finally have a shot at winning it all! 🙂
I just finished watching... I actually liked the story, but the acting was honestly terrible 😢

Kimberly Chavez56 said:I mean, I’m pretty sure brands like Victoria's Secret or maybe even Triumph have those specific sizes—you know, those tiny little minimizers? The ones that actually stay in place because of the wire, but still feel soft when you touch them and just... I don't know, they last forever. Anyway, you should totally hit up their actual stores—like, their official boutiques, not some random department store—and just ask. I really think they'll have them. Just let me know if you end up finding anything.

But look, it’s just not the same thing. And honestly, the cup size actually scales up a bit as the band size increases. So, like, an 85C is going to be a measurably smaller cup than a 95C. I know exactly what I'm talking about because I use those bra extenders myself, and let me tell you—it never, ever feels the same as the original fit.

So, my question is: Where the hell am I supposed to find these UK sizes? I’m looking at like a 105-110C, and honestly, I have no clue how to actually pick a size when I'm trying to order stuff online. It's such a headache.

Edit: Turns out I was wrong, I just checked and it’s actually 48°C.

What do you guys think about this?
I was just scrolling through eBay—because apparently, that’s how I spend my life now—and I stumbled onto this listing for a full coverage something-or-other. Honestly, looking at these things makes me wonder if anyone actually buys this stuff anymore or if it's all just digital clutter. It looks okay, I guess? Maybe? I can't quite tell from the photos. They always look better in the listing than they do in real life, which is kind of the problem with everything lately. Anyway, I don't know. Just felt like sharing because my brain is fried.

I mean, let's be real here—we just don't want it to end up being nothing more than a scrap of fabric that doesn't actually hold anything together. I guess you could say it's all about structure, right? Because if it doesn't have that, well, what's even the point? It's just... wasted material. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but still.

From what I gather, her main issue is that a larger band automatically means a bigger cup. If an 85C actually fits her cup size perfectly, using an extender would give her the extra room she needs around the ribs while keeping that specific cup size intact.🤷

Ugh, I need a smooth white strapless bra in a 90-95 C.
It’s such a struggle because of the band size. Everything I find has huge cups, but my actual circumference is the issue.

Why not just grab an 85C and use a bra extender?

Hey, what's up... just me again. Honestly? I'm losing my mind over here. Everything feels like such a mess lately, you know? Like, you try to do one thing right and then ten other things just... explode. It's constant. Just total chaos. I was sitting there thinking about how much easier life would be if people just... I don't even know, acted like adults for five minutes? Is that too much to ask? Probably. Definitely too much. Anyway... just venting. My head is spinning. kaže:
I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO LOSE MY MIND. Like, seriously. So the other day I’m feeling myself, right? I pull out these old size 42 pants—the ones from back in the day—and they fit! I'm standing there like, "Okay, yeah, I actually did lose some weight..." feeling all proud and stuff... and then?! Then I go to H&M and pick out these absolutely gorgeous pair of pants, right? And I can't even get into a size 46... I mean, ARE THEY INSANE??? Is everyone at H&M losing their minds or what... 🤣 😍 Man, I’m telling you... these lower leg pieces? Total joke. They won't even get past my knees for me... and honestly, if they tried anything higher up, it would be a disaster... just way too much fabric everywhere. Like, what is their design process even based on? Seriously, what are they actually cutting over there?... 😍 Man, I seriously had to go absolutely ham on some food just to feel human again... like, I was starving. Just totally wiped out. 🤣 🤷

So, uh, I don't know if this happened to you too... but like, when I was gaining weight—going from a size 4 to a size 8—I kept my old size 4 jeans tucked away, thinking "one day I'll fit back into these..." but then, fast forward, I actually lost the weight and tried to squeeze back into them, and guess what? Not a single pair of size 4s in any store actually fit me... The reason? Well, since I had been expanding, the fabric itself just stretched out so much that they weren't even a real size 4 anymore... it was totally different from the original... 🤣

Ugh, okay, can we talk about H&M for a second? Because seriously... their sizing is absolutely unhinged. Like, I don’t know what kind of math they’re using over there, but it makes zero sense. Honestly, if I’m usually a size 4 or 6 in basically every other store—you know, like Target or Gap—I walk into H&M and suddenly I’m fitting into a 2 or a 4?! It’s wild... totally ridiculous... how does that even happen?

Man, I honestly can't tell if it was just one specific AI model that messed everything up or what... like, it feels so weird... 🤷

And I actually care about this too... seriously.

🙄

Sorry, this isn't personal, but... I constantly hear girls who usually wear a 16 in H&M saying they're actually a 12 because all their styles run huge. 🙄

I'm a standard 16, though I need a 18 on top if things aren't stretchy because of my chest. An H&M blazer in Chicago was barely a fit at size 14, but here I just buy my 16/18 and move on without a care. 🤷

I have a friend from the city who claims she wears a size 4??? but whenever we go shopping together, I see her grabbing size 12s like it's nothing... even though she goes into the fitting room with a 4. 🙄
I don't get who they're trying to fool. If you're wearing a 12, then wear a 12. Don't fight me by claiming you're a 4 just so I feel bad about being a 16... because I won't. 😬 I'll just grab a 20 and yell from the dressing room that maybe it's too big. 😂

Jeremy Cox49 said:Honestly, Yours is leagues ahead—better quality, better cuts, and the fit is just more flattering and comfy. My favorite part is they have catwalk videos on the site; seeing how it actually moves on a model helps me judge if it'll look baggy or hug my curves. I've ordered a bunch there and they've held up well, though I'm pear-shaped—not sure if the same logic applies to apple shapes.

Apple shapes usually struggle with the top half. 😁

But then again, it really just depends on the specific cut... I have two dresses from them—one was way too tight across the chest, while the other fit like a glove.

I always take my measurements and stick strictly to their size chart. So far, that one dress was the only thing that ever ran small on me.
