I think there was a Krav Maga class on Fridays over by the local community center... or maybe it was near the old YMCA? I can't quite remember the exact spot, but it used to be like that. Anyway, you should probably check out the martial arts subforum, it might be listed there somewhere.
I pretty much just stick to Optimum Nutrition, specifically that double rich chocolate flavor... it’s actually decent even if you just mix it with water. But man, if you mix it with milk? It's absolutely heavenly. 😁
Anyway, I basically handle everything PC-related as a side hustle. Or, well, it’s more like my main thing outside of work... I guess you could say I'm pretty much the go-to guy for all things hardware and builds. Maybe? Just a little bit of everything, really.
Guys, seriously, please... stop fighting over my motherboard. 😍
I’m probably leaning toward the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, though if I end up having a bit of extra cash lying around once I actually sit down to budget this thing out... maybe I'll go bigger http://www.amazon.com/graphics-card-example
Oh, right, the power supply is actually a Corsair CX 500. I totally thought it was some Nvidia card for a second because a buddy told me this motherboard works better with Nvidia gear. Anyway, I was poking around looking at stuff like
something in that general ballpark, unless there’s something even better out there. I really want whatever will give my processor the best boost, you know? Just trying to get the most out of what I've got here.
Look, I know this setup isn't exactly top-of-the-line or anything, but honestly, I just don't have the cash right now to go out and swap out my motherboard and processor.
Right now, I'm following an Insanity program Monday through Friday—taking Wednesdays off to breathe—and then hitting the gym for some circuit training on Saturdays. Feeling pretty good about it, I guess.
lukaXXkralj - Honestly, if you're serious about seeing results, you've gotta keep your protein intake up constantly. It's non-negotiable.
Just grab some protein powder and stick with it, even while you're working on cutting body fat.
Olivia Castillo562 said:I drink mine with milk, and honestly, I grabbed the vanilla flavor and can confirm it’s seriously delicious😁 it actually caught me off guard—I was expecting something kind of chalky and bland, you know?
Maybe try using a blender xD or you could just grab one of these
They have a little mesh screen inside so you don't end up with those annoying clumps when you shake it.
And hey, if you really like that vanilla taste, it’s pretty great if you toss it in a blender with a banana
Peter Robinson93 said:Thanks for this, but I don't know... looks like there might be a ton of sugar in here? Does it? I mean, look, I eat plenty of carbs throughout the day—bread, fruit, pasta, juice, all that stuff... I really need things that are at least 60% protein. If it hits that mark, how would I go about grabbing some and what's the damage? 🙂
So, per 29.4g of powder, you get 24g of protein🙂
No sugar in it either, plus it smells amazing and tastes really great.
Peter Robinson93 said:Seriously, if anyone can help this guy out, please just do it. You guys are all just chatting away here like you know everything, so come on, help him out ☕
I’ve actually got a question myself too... I picked up one of those protein bars from CVS, the ones with 13 grams of protein. Are they actually any good compared to the more expensive stuff? (I think people have asked things like this before, I guess...) Which proteins actually taste good? I saw some girl mentioning that here, and honestly, flavor is way more important to me than price. As long as it isn't loaded with 65% carbs like, say, Herb Alpert... Thanks 😉
Personally, I stick with Optimum Nutrition. That Double Rich Chocolate flavor is amazing—even when I just mix it with water.
I gave some to my sister, who is basically obsessed with anything chocolate, mixed it with milk, and she said it was delicious.
Honestly, I haven't got a clue. Nobody really knows, probably because it’s just useless stuff anyway. If you want my take, just grab some 100% whey—something from Optimum Nutrition, Gold's Gym, or Gaspari Nutrition—and you'll be fine
Jack Ward82 said:Look, whey is just a supplement. If you follow the rule of thumb that you need about 2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight—so, let’s do the math on 😉 (80 kg x 2 g protein = 160 g)—you’ll get most of that from your actual meals, and then you just use the shake to fill in the gaps. It won't do squat if your diet is trash and you're just relying on whey; at that point, you're basically just swapping one protein source for another. I mean, obviously, to give a real answer, I'd need to know what you're actually trying to do, like whether you're bulking up or cutting down, etc.
Nah, I eat right, I totally get that it's just a supplement. I just didn't realize I was allowed to have more than two shakes a day as a supplement.
Jack Ward82 said:Yeah. But honestly, it's probably best right after you hit the gym. I mean, you could drink it in the morning or before bed too... I guess it just depends on what kind of results you're actually chasing.
Can I just blast it three times a day? The bag says one hour before and immediately after training, and not to go over the dose😁
Two tablespoons. Am I talking heaping scoops here, or should they be level?
