Linda White64 said:Hey, moderators and admins—seriously, can we please do something about permanently banning (or just cutting off access to Reddit) this user going by professoricarx? It’s a blatant violation of the forum rules against making clone accounts... What she's pulling here is... honestly, it's unbelievable. I bet most people on here would agree with me.

And you're actually trying to claim this is a clone? You'd just have to put in a little effort and look up which banned users are currently active, or just ask a mod—they'd know immediately. 🤷
You sure talk big for someone with only 80 posts. Acting like the judge and jury already? Highly suspicious, if you ask me.

Happy now?

if you got banned, there's a corner for the banned, if you got kicked out, there's a thread for losers... if it's something specific, just start a new thread... 🙂

🙏🤣

What's the metric here? You just tally up how many times you've been banned or what? Is anyone even answering?
Always the same story 🤣

Every single time there’s a complaint thread, you get these random trolls—who happen to be mods, mind you—showing up with zero relevance to the topic and just talking in circles until it's unbearable.
Then, the mod in charge of this PDF jumps in and locks the whole thing down without actually solving a damn thing.
It stays like that until someone finally snaps and loses their cool, only to get banned because apparently, "that's not how we talk here."
But I bet Laura Evans3 won't be getting a warning for her little outburst.
If I wrote that on any other thread, I’d be slapped with a ban instantly, and honestly? I'd deserve it...

Look, I miss ZgSash too, but you have to respect a guy's choice to walk away when he's had enough of this nonsense.
It's his right, plain and simple.....

🤣

I basically wrote the same thing once, then deleted it because I was terrified they'd come after me. They always find someone to "call out" eventually.😁

Chris Peterson53 said:hey, maybe this forum wants something like that, or maybe I just realized sooner than most that there's no point looking for some special kind of justice... though not for the same reasons you do...☕

😉
...are you calling me a pushover, or do you just think the mods are all total amateurs...
and maybe they should be "of a certain age."

no, not you. I haven't had any run-ins with you. How do you even know we aren't looking for the same things? 😕
If it's a specific moderator, they'll recognize themselves 😁
and yeah, she's an amateur. At least to me. That's how she acts. I don't think people need to be a certain "age" like you claim, but the fact is, someone more experienced is going to know more. It all comes down to how much someone has actually grown up. 🤷
that's not the point

Look, try checking what's missing and where, then go ask a mod or an admin... if you actually have the time to waste on that.😁

Man, I really miss the days when ZgSash was actually running the show here. The guy actually put in the work and engaged with people—he’d even shoot you a PM if he had to 😲
. He wasn't just shutting down threads or hitting you with some dismissive "that's a stupid question" attitude. Usually, you'd just get ignored or bypassed. I don't get why everyone feels the need to have an answer for everything 🤷

Chris Peterson53 said:Look, I've been on this forum long enough to rack up 5,500 posts, and honestly? I've copped four warnings and had 20 of my posts nuked.
I’ve never once called out a moderator for being accountable, even when I felt like I was being treated unfairly.I just figured they're human too—they can mess up.
There was this one single post that got deleted, and I had zero clue why. So, I played nice and sent a polite DM to the mod asking for an explanation. Their response should be something any forum user can wrap their head around:
Your post wasn't off-topic or rude, but I pulled it because it contained elements that would trigger unnecessary reactions and start fights. Better to prevent the fire than try to put it out!
.

Where on earth were you writing that, the Senate floor? I bet those guys use even harsher language.😁

I'm done trying to "seek justice" on this forum. When some rookie mod does whatever they want just because they're moody or feel like it, there's really no point in hunting for fairness.

Lisa Hernandez3 said:all is a game. It’s also a game of "non-interference." Honestly, there isn't much to uncover—believe me—there’s no grand conspiracy behind it, nor even many posts; just a lot of observation. Mostly, it's an interest in how other people tick. That’s just my take from the "Believe It or Not" section. 😁

I'm a bit embarrassed, but well, here I am, linking back to my previous post 😁. (It's right on the smiley face)
Just a side note: whatever those interests might be, we should always remember that at the end of the day, it's all human. It's just that sometimes, perhaps, we don't have the will to be understanding. Or maybe we're simply being mean—kind of like me, I guess.

😕

coincidence🤣
Let’s say I actually believe you. Still, this whole "observing" thing feels weird to me. Is there some actual purpose behind it, or are you just satisfying some... 🤔strange
needs?
Lisa Hernandez3 said:And right after I wrote (!) about how quickly people are judged and dismissed these days, you come along with this. 😛 It isn't the same. There is a difference between someone praying the Rosary and someone practicing those underhanded tactics🤣 on forums—well, unless we're talking about hypocrisy (which, fair point). As for the various types of jealousy, I would argue that a simpleton can't truly emulate an educated person. At the very least, their rhetoric won't match.

Quincy:
and no... you can't really escape it... because this crowd spends their whole time staring into their own plates, tracking whether you had cream or black coffee today, keeping a mental log to watch for any deviations from some arbitrary standard they've cooked up in their heads
since they aren't exactly living their best lives, I guess... so yours becomes a sort of substitute for them, maybe.🤷
I'm not quite sure how to respond to that. 😕 Just stop. 🙏

Quincy:
don't worry... I actually thought about starting fresh with a new username after that last mess, just to draw a line under it, maybe🤔 ...but I don't know... it's exactly what I said before... at the end of the day, everyone leaves their own signature, and no storm could ever wash that away.😁
It didn't occur to me ☕, but still: if using a new username makes things easier for you, then why not? As long as your identities aren't out there talking to one another, it should be fine.

That is, I suppose, a topic in itself within this discussion on forum intolerance—the idea of multiple identities and how that multiplicity can be used for ill.

In this case, I'd throw in an even harsher diagnosis.😁

It’s been happening non-stop for the last few days, at any hour of the day. It’s driving me insane. I can't read a single thread, nothing, without hitting this crap.😠

It's honestly pathetic that this even needs a thread in the first place.

Laura Bishop said:I take every single thread on MK seriously—like, full-on deep dive mode.
I’ll read the OP, scan through all the replies, and then just sit there and really chew on the problem and potential fixes.
Actually, I write my whole response out by hand first—using a blue or green pen on some old-school legal pad—and then I type it up in Word. Once I've tweaked it, I copy, polish, and hit send.

But even with all that effort, my posts sometimes get nuked like I’m just some random troll. It honestly hurts my feelings—I'll be over here crying into my pillow half the time!

🤣🤣

if it isn't trolling... 🤷

Look, I don't spend ages overthinking things like you do. I don't troll nearly as much because I'm just a fast talker. In real life, I tend to mess up and make mistakes that basically earn me points automatically... so, yeah, my bad. My apologies. 🤣
