6'4", 176 lbs, 30 years old. BMI is sitting at a decent 21.47. 😎
Giuliano and the President—that whole mess on the boat where they just sit there playing cards with the exact same camera angle. Even the song feels off to me, and the music video was just way too much. 👎

I can't forget "Bitter Sweet Symphony," where that guy walks down the street bumping into everyone. Every time I watch it, I get tense, just waiting to see if someone finally takes him out for being so arrogant. 😁 And honestly, all of Prince's videos are just a total knockout.

Funny, but true.

I’m telling you, if Popovič wins this year, he’ll probably win for the next ten. Nothing against him—the guy is fine—but I guess everyone gets bored when it’s always the same person winning.

Maybe Rasmussen, Pereiro, and a whole bunch of others could grab a Top 10—guys like Mancebo, Leipheimer, or Kloden, for instance. But if Basso actually shows up as the real deal, I don't see much competition. My only real worry is Discovery popping up with some new superman; their squad will probably be just as strong as ever.

That’s exactly my point. 😉 😂

Some people describe their location like they're writing an essay, if not a whole damn novel. 🙄

Vinokurov and his Kazakh squad have teamed up with that powerhouse Spanish team, Liberty Seguros. Vino isn't exactly a kid anymore, but I guess he’s definitely got plenty of motivation for the Tour de France now that Lance is out of the picture.

The French haven't had anyone capable of cracking the Top 5 for fifteen years straight. It's kind of embarrassing, honestly... 👎

Even though Basso is the favorite, I kind of want to see Ullrich take the Tour de France. Who knows if he’ll actually hit 33 this year—time flies, I guess... Despite all his setbacks, he still managed to win the Tour and the Vuelta, plus he was a world and Olympic champion. It's a solid career, regardless. 👍 🙏 🙏

It'll be interesting to see who Discovery picks as their captain this time. Logic tells me Popovič, but maybe they'll go with Savoldelli's experience instead? Or even Hincapie, which would basically mean the end of a career for a domestique. I didn't just make that up; Sean Kelly mentioned it... 🙏

Just so those who aren't up to speed know, Roberto Heras has been suspended for two months now. It looks like EPO is the issue again... I just don't trust any cyclist anymore; the doping tests don't lie. And once his ban is over, David Millar is coming back—he signed with some Spanish team, though I can't remember which one right now.

Our guy Vladimir Miholjević is in the same squad for the fourth year running, Liquigas.
Poor circulation and smoking: any advice? in Health ·

I'm honestly hoping

It’ll be better for your health and your wallet, which I guess should be enough motivation to quit. But it's easy for me to sit here and talk about what I don't have to deal with; the body just wants what it's used to. Just stay strong.🙂
Cold feet? in Health ·
Hold on, if you're dealing with freezing feet every single day, you probably need to think twice about going skiing. It's gonna be tough. Right?

(Maybe she already headed out for a ski trip. 😁 )

Honestly, people, just get some discipline with your diet and you'll fix the weight issue. I see some of my friends eating like there's no tomorrow, then hitting the stationary bike every single day or grinding at the gym, and they’re still baffled why they can't lose a single pound or flatten their gut. It's pretty obvious why, I guess. 🤔 🙄

Rosemary tincture has always been the go-to for poor circulation. I guess you really need to pinpoint the actual cause first, but using rosemary in a massage helps a lot with blood flow—I know from personal experience. 🙂

Melissa Gonzalez21, could you maybe give us a more concise description of where you are? Some of us are still stuck living in 800x600 resolution here. 😬

Maybe the eyes just need time to adjust to them...

I guess I always give up pretty fast if things don't work right away. Whatever, I'm going to go try putting them back in now. 😁

Chloe Palmer2 said:I gave up on them. When the nurse put them in for me the first time, it looked easy enough. At home, it took me like thirty minutes just to get them in, and then I couldn't stand them, so I just waited to take them out. Maybe I'll try again. 😁
Anyone got tips on how to get these things in fast and easy?

Yeah, I totally get you. 🙏 I guess putting them in isn't actually that hard once you learn, you just have to make sure you don't blink too fast when you're setting the lens, otherwise it might slide into the corner of your eye. You probably dealt with that. 😬 Don't give up too soon. If you already did, maybe at least keep the lenses if you ever decide to give it another shot.

Yesterday was my first time walking around outside with contacts. I walk into a grocery store, see this super hot cashier, and I'm stuck staring at the floor because my eyes are irritated. "Half a pound of cabbage, please." 🙂

Plus, my left eye is acting weird. Some time ago, some dish soap splashed into it, and my vision hasn't been great there since. Now, when I wear a contact, it feels foggy in that eye and I have to blink constantly just to make it feel "normal" again. It’s also annoying how light scatters off the edge of the lens, so if I want to look left or right, I basically have to move my whole head instead of just my eyes.

Basically, it's not quite what I expected. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it. 😢

Gerald James73 said:Maybe not. Valverde had to pull out, but when Lance first showed his strength in the Tour de France, he was the only one who could keep up, maybe even staying ahead of Armstrong.
As for the others, I guess Basso is stronger than everyone else.

Valverde is clearly talented, but I don't see him winning the Tour de France yet, or any other Spaniard for that matter.
