I mean, what can I say? The Rolling Stones isn't really my thing, even though I've probably spun that album about 50 times.

Personally, I’m not feeling anything special about it. The only thing that truly blew me away was Fleetwood Mac, though even their first one isn't half bad. A few others that were pretty decent include The Beatles, Bon Iver... and Modern Rock.
I don't know, it feels overrated and hyped up, and they definitely don't deserve a 9.2 from Rolling Stone.

So, I’ve got these two live recordings, and honestly, I have a feeling they didn't even bother recording a demo... That first live performance was honestly pretty rough. It’s pretty obvious that Tubin had been drinking, and plus, the band has only been together for exactly two weeks... The second live set is actually a huge step up. It’s that one from before The B-52's played at Hartford, and they honestly sound much more tight and rehearsed here...
1. Just so we're clear, I've always been a huge fan of the first Neutral Milk Hotel album. 2. The Rolling Stones have one absolute standout on this record, but honestly, the rest is pretty middle-of-the-road. 3. No sugarcoating it here. Hint: Think David Byrne regarding recent events.

I was out buying Swiss chard today too, and I just finished cooking up a batch...
Coldplay just played their new set at the Dallas venue here while I was stuck listening to some seriously subpar music playing in the corner of the shop... man, it was such a drag. Honestly, this stuff was even more mind-numbing than the last set, and that one wasn't exactly thrilling either. I actually ended up asking the lady working the counter to turn it off, and since I've got that certain charm, she just did it without a second thought...
Looks like my lazy ass is gonna drag itself out to the concert this Friday after all. Hey, {{1}} how many tickets are they actually gonna have left on the day of the show?
