Honestly, I can't believe the things Novak and Jehovah have tried to pull off lately... Come back home, little guy, we'll forgive you for anything!

That was easily the best US Grand Prix Montreal 2008 we've seen in years... Robert Kubica was 🙏 , and if there was any reason to celebrate, it was because, hey, that fierce American spirit—the "USA over everything" vibe really hit home right after 🙂. Lewis Hamilton was, predictably, a total clown, while Felipe Massa actually pulled off some genuinely classy moves. Nelson Piquet finally showed a glimmer of potential too... as for my Kimi... well, he's just plain lost it. I’m honestly holding out hope that Robert Kubica lands at Ferrari instead of Fernando Alonso...

That’s coming from someone who turned their car into a one-man kayak last year? If he actually finds the guts to push through to the finish line this time, then maybe—just maybe—we're looking at a future champion.

Thankfully, we’ll probably just get knocked out in the first round anyway, which would save us from all this unnecessary euphoria and agony. As for the racing, Ferrari ought to apply some pressure here, and I suspect the BMWs might actually give them a run for their money...

It’s a relief to see Kimi taking the lead and Heikki making it out in one piece... though I have to admit, for a split second there, I had this intense flashback... seeing him alongside Ayrton Senna... it doesn't look quite as dire as I feared, does it? Hmm? But why isn't he exiting the car? Hmm? And why has the ambulance already arrived? ...Well... everything will be fine! A little later: Oh crap, OH CRAP!!!

And here is my reasoning. If only Senna had survived...

shbbkbb 🙄

Oh, if only he had stayed with us... I was such a huge fan of his. But looking back, the 1994 season just wasn't kind to Senna. Between the Interlagos-winner Schumacher, the Tanaka-winner Schumacher, and then what happened at San Marino—😢 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdoyYgOiX0w (that qualifying lap looked incredibly fast...)🙂

I mean, does anyone even remember Eddie Irvin anymore? That argument doesn't really hold much water...
Ronnie Peterson was truly one of the most gifted drivers to ever take the track without securing a world title.

And perhaps it actually does worth its weight in gold, doesn't it?😬

Unfortunately for him, it doesn't 😢

for the vast majority of his career—specifically those titles in '95, '01, '02, and '04—he was driving a car that simply had no equal on the grid. Back at Benetton, he was paired with Verstappen and Herbert, teammates who, if we are being honest, weren't exactly world-class competition. Then, once he moved to Ferrari, he was the undisputed number one from day one, leaving his teammates with virtually no chance to actually showcase their talent.

Is there truly any better seat in all of Formula 1 than being the second driver at Ferrari? I mean, look at Barrichelo or even Massa; they actually managed to pull off some wins. Barrichelo could only dream of such things, really. But if Massu were to suddenly depart Toro Rosso, then we would truly see how dire the situation becomes...

I just want Piotr back in the band!!! Hands down the best vocalist and drummer we've ever had!

How hilarious... though, if we're being honest, it was actually quite a somber day. It marked his final appearance in F1, after all. At least he left with his head held high; the sheer technical mastery he displayed during that race is something today's drivers can only dream of achieving.

I find myself returning to this particular topic quite often lately. It seems we can't help but circle back to the fundamental questions of how our society functions and where we are headed. Is it possible that we are overlooking the most obvious solutions right in front of us?

Carl Foster8 said:Those conspiracy theories are certainly intriguing, but they remain just that—theories.

There is simply too much money flowing from every direction for it to be realistic that a single individual could dictate the winner.

Formula 1 becomes far more enjoyable when you focus on enjoying the races themselves, rather than constantly dissecting the financial maneuvers and sponsorship deals happening behind the scenes at each team.😉

As for the race itself...

People have been complaining about a dull season lacking innovation from McM, and suggesting there isn't a clear favorite between the top teams and Ferrari, but I suspect things will get quite interesting once the drivers actually have to adjust to racing without traction control.
Give them some turbo power. 😁

To be fair, I did enjoy the race because there was plenty of action. It is difficult for me to find a race boring if there are actual events unfolding. My definition of a dull race is one where the leader pulls away early and nothing happens for the rest of the duration, aside from two pit stops being the most exciting part of the entire afternoon. If we are lucky, maybe someone manages a pass during the pit sequence. Take Canada, for example; I hate that race. I honestly don't understand what kind of strange agenda is being served up there.
In my humble opinion, the greatest race ever held was back in 1998 at Spa... what a chaotic mess... but it wasn't just the start that made it great; it was that incredible moment when Schumi hit the curb and lost a wheel, yet somehow kept driving like a three-wheeled car in front of Coulthard, who didn't even dare to overtake him, followed by that whole heated confrontation in the pits... 😍That was a true, classic Formula 1 feeling. 🙂
