Round 15: Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 ·
Was that footage captured from the safety car's perspective... and is it already up on YouTube?

Honestly, I’d want to offer my congratulations to Nicole Reyes97 too—if it’s even possible to do so privately.😁

Moving up 15 spots on the grid? That was an incredible drive. 😁

Damn Fernando Alonso!

Thank God! I'd much rather see him performing like that than Lewis Hamilton...

Even though my heart is shouting, "Go Kimi Räikkönen, go!", my head is telling me, "Go Felipe Massa, go!" (Not that it matters much, considering he'll be heading out of Ferrari after this season anyway!)

Here are two legendary moments from this incredible circuit:

The tragic passing of Stefan Bellof— http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgtZe-iQH1U
And the 1998 F1 Grand Prix—honestly, one of the greatest races ever run! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKbQQA_8BnE

I mean, what do I know? It seems like most of you ladies just can't help yourselves when it comes to that Latin lover, Fernando Alonso...😛

Kimi? I mean, I agree, but I didn't realize you were such a massive Kimi Räikkönen fanatic yourself! 😵

It really makes you wonder, doesn't it? How incredible those Honda engines are... though honestly, the Williams cars aren't far behind.😂

it’s much faster to type on, and there are plenty of cool people here.🙂

But what’s the actual point of typing faster if you still can't master proper American English?😂

OT:

Reddit has really helped me form a clear picture of the average American. Because if the people on here—who actually know how to navigate the internet—are any indication of what's out there, then what does that say about those who are... well, perhaps a bit less bright?
Let's talk about your avatars in Miscellaneous ·
Mine was actually designed by one of my fellow Forum members—a graphic designer by trade—over on a completely different message board. It all started when he created this incredible avatar for himself, which inspired a whole bunch of us to make our own little parodies of his style... we kept it that way for a while, but then he eventually offered to design custom avatars for everyone based on how he personally perceived each user. For me, he came up with: "Frank Collins in a demonic script..."

I picked one up today at the Walmart over on Vukovar Street, and I have to say, it’s excellent—especially when you mix it with some vodka.

And yet, you’re trying to tell me he could have just slammed on the brakes in that exact microsecond to avoid crossing the line? I honestly think it would have been nearly impossible to stop that car in time without overshooting the mark. Is it really even realistic to expect that kind of precision under those circumstances?☕

It looks to me like he was actually debating whether or not he should pull into the pits... Lewis Hamilton didn't seem puzzled at all; he simply reached the conclusion that staying out was the right call.

I’ve been sitting here staring at this footage from the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix, and I can't help but feel a sense of profound melancholy. It is one of those moments in racing history that stays with you, isn't it? You watch the chaos unfold, and there is this heavy realization that everything is about to shift. Watching Robert Kubica navigate those conditions—it was masterful, truly. But even when you perform at that level, the sport has a way of throwing a wrench in your plans. One minute you are looking at a potential podium or even a win, and the next, you are left wondering what might have been. Does anyone else find themselves dwelling on those "what if" scenarios long after the engines have cooled? It makes you think about the sheer unpredictability of it all. We crave order and logic, yet Formula 1 thrives on the exact opposite. It’s a beautiful, frustrating mess. What do you all think? Was it just bad luck for the drivers involved, or is this simply the nature of the beast?

but the real issue is how they tried to pin the whole blame on Nico Rosberg just to make Lewis Hamilton look like some innocent victim 😂

Oh, absolutely!!! While Pamela is over there making a scene, those two are just mumbling away about some blonde lady... honestly, by Jehgović, I bet Hamilton is probably quite sexy to them 🙄

I honestly can't wrap my head around how Lewis Hamilton just couldn't bring the car to a halt... but even more baffling to me is how Nico Rosberg, after rolling out of control with 1.9 miles/h, somehow ended up slamming right into Lewis Hamilton???
