The full set, Nutshell, and a Radiohead concert😠 The show itself felt short, and then they just breeze through the encore. If the whole thing had actually lasted two hours, I might have understood the pacing...
They’ve started booking concerts through InMusic... if they didn't have such a nasty habit of cutting shows short, it would actually be pretty great. But I'm not about to complain. 😉

As soon as I saw the title, the first thing that popped into my head was Stand by me; it’s an exceptional film. The second one that comes to mind would be Back to the Future, strictly because I went through a phase when I was about 14 where I watched that movie literally every single day.😁
It looks like most of the debate is centering on an ending—one of those polarizing ones that either makes the movie for you or completely ruins the experience. I don't want to give anything away because I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but it’s going to be an interesting conversation regardless.

They’re constantly making great stuff; it's just that not every film gets as much international hype as this one or Let the Right One In (which is just another remake waiting to happen).

The second and third installments were filmed right after the first specifically for television, mostly because nobody expected the first movie to be such a massive hit at the box office... That might explain why they feel inferior, both in terms of production value and overall aesthetic. Plus, the director is probably just some TV journeyman for all I know. It's a shame... if they had just waited to see how the first film performed in theaters, they might have actually ended up with a decent trilogy consisting of three heavy hitters. As it stands, the original remains the standout, even if it isn't perfect. These films aired on Swedish TV using an NBC-style format where they split the movie into a few episodes, which made them feel about thirty minutes longer than they actually were.

The best move is to get a dermoscopy done. They take photos of all your moles and archive them, so if anything changes later, you have a baseline to compare against to catch anything dangerous early. You can get a free dermoscopy at the local public dermatology clinic, you just need to make an appointment.
Alice in Chains is a legitimate band and they have my full respect... William DuVall is a solid frontman, and as Wild Horses says, he really puts in the work. They play with incredible energy, and any sense that they're "washed up" or that people have outgrown them just because they were big when you were in middle school—and now you're fifteen years older—has absolutely nothing to do with how they actually kill it on stage.
For those veterans who were at the horse racing track on May 16th, this is going to feel just like a massive reunion—cold, rainy, windy, soaked in raincoats... ahhh, simply wonderful.
Whether it was by design or just pure luck, those two episodes he filmed for the phenomenal Masters of Horror (especially Cigarette Burns) are easily the best things he's done since in The Mouth of Madness, and that was over 15 years ago... I’m holding onto a little bit of hope, but...

Just because they aren't your thing doesn't mean they aren't relevant. Their new album is crushing it on the charts, the reviews are stellar, and their shows are sold out. The main songwriter is still going strong, and Alica in Chains basically functions as three-quarters of the original lineup. And what’s this about a "B-side" lineup? This isn't a hockey game where you need four lines of players.

The Unit was one of those rare superhero movies I actually enjoyed, which is saying something since I’m usually not a fan of the genre. I watched the sequel last night, and while it doesn't quite hit the heights of the first one, it’s still a solid watch. From the opening sequence through that race in Monte Carlo, the pacing is practically flawless. Where it trips up is the middle act—Stark goes through this midlife crisis and starts acting like a teenager. The plot just wanders aimlessly there, loses its focus, and drags the whole thing down. The ending is pretty good, though. The highlight? It wasn't an action scene. It was definitely Scarlett climbing those stairs and that hip sway near the end. Sweeeet 😍
It’s honestly refreshing to sit through a movie that doesn't feel the need to shove an action sequence down your throat every ten minutes just to keep some mindless audience member awake until the credits roll. Highly recommended.
