Trash PDF moderation issues — again in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Joshua Parker11 said:I’m just wondering why every single time—and I mean every time—someone mentions Trash on the PŽK, you show up with lightning speed... and yet, you never actually write anything useful, explain a thing, or give a meaningful answer to any questions. No, you just troll.☕

Maybe he is too. I suppose I should clarify—it’s all about being perceptive. One has to see through the noise if they want to make any sense of this mess. 🤣
And this is exactly why we have to step in and protect MK from all the garbage users. ☕

No, you can't—we have to wait for Matthew Ruiz8 to finish his edits. ☕

Tallying up the data and votes through post number six.

Look, you little man, I only counted one vote from you—that first one for Nichole—because we're only allowed to cast one vote per moderator per day.

I’m also asking the moderators and admins to please enable editing in this thread because I actually need it; otherwise, this whole thing looks messy. Just move the thread over to the "Appeals" section if you have to.

Who even are you?🤣 🤣

Gregory Garcia said:I'm not fully caught up on all the specifics mentioned here... but from what I can gather, they really only have themselves to blame.
Spamming other threads in waves is, of course, a massive 🙂 and just plain unprofessional, rude, and bad etiquette.
I mean, looking at what the Democratic Party said—that they wandered into another thread, started a fight, and ended up getting banned—they’re basically admitting they earned it. So the real question is: what now? They got what was coming to them, nobody's losing anything, so let's just move on.

First off, is being banned actually something unexpected or desirable? Now they're acting surprised—essentially causing their own bans and dragging others down with them—so why are they acting like the moderators are out to get them? 🙂

That being said, I think people are overlooking the obvious pattern in how they act—they flock together to some random thread, provoke every living soul until they start catching bans (like, five at once, which is pretty standard 🤦), and then they retreat back to their own thread.

Do you honestly think that repeating this kind of behavior—and I want to emphasize, *organized* behavior, almost like an act of solidarity 🙄—by flooding threads and triggering bans for both the guilty and the innocent, is considered normal or somehow harmless? 🙄

Just take a second to think about it. Seriously, think about what you actually did. You caused mass bans, clearly, and not just once. Once the mods finally got fed up with cleaning up after you, they decided to hand out some much heavier sanctions.

You shouldn't have played around so much, thinking you could just go in and cause chaos on every single thread—well, that's exactly what happened. You could have just ignored this "cake," or whatever it is you didn't like, and vented about it on your own zidić, and you might still have had it. But like I said, you just pushed it too far. 😉

Give it some thought. 🙂

I’ve thought about it more than once, and honestly, I can't recall a single person getting banned because of us. And you—you're using terms like "massively" 😕 when you clearly aren't even informed. Please, for heaven's sake, provide a single link to these "mass bans" or to the threads you claim were destroyed. Making accusations like that without any proof is, frankly, unfair. 🤷

Gregory Garcia said:👍
True, but it’s also a place where like-minded people can congregate—kind of like how those specific zidić threads tend to pull everyone together. 😉

Look, if I’m sitting here saying I love corn cake—and I really, truly do—then what I’m looking for are recipes for corn cake. It’s that simple, right? I don't need someone waltzing into my kitchen to lecture me about how it's basically "food for idiots," or trying to convince me that banana bread is somehow the superior choice. If I wanted a lecture on dessert hierarchy, I probably wouldn't have asked for a recipe in the first place. 😛

Well, I think—and I’m not necessarily saying it’ll be me, though someone certainly should—that it’s probably time to report the mods. Honestly, they're just letting the spam fly and letting people drift completely off-topic in this thread, which is getting a bit ridiculous.

I mean, looking at what you wrote—and honestly, you put together the most concise yet thorough timeline I’ve seen here—it almost feels like the folks over at the zidić crowd are showing up to this thread just waiting to get banned. It’s as if they’re more interested in pushing their own agenda until our investigation—or maybe yours, I guess—is finally finished. 🙏

Good grief, everyone—can we please just take a collective breath and calm down for a second?

Look, I don't think the Democratic Party realizes that this isn't exactly some wild West free-for-all where you can just say whatever pops into your head—and honestly, thank God it isn't. If it were, we wouldn't be able to actually exchange ideas properly, would we? There really is a certain... let's call it a code of conduct for sharing opinions around here, even if it feels a bit structured sometimes. 😉

I think you’re exaggerating just a little bit there... I mean, if you just show up like a normal, polite person—the way you originally intended to ask—and simply say, "Hey, why exactly is this corn cake so incredible?" nobody is going to take offense. It’s a harmless question! But, I have to reiterate my point: it’s a completely different story when you walk in there ready to bet money just to prove that your version of the cake is superior. That's where the friction comes from.

And just to clear up this nonsense regarding those cakes, 🙄
Willie and I posted a few things about them, and believe it or not, they weren't even that bad—they were just deemed off-topic, so the mod deleted them along with a few similar posts. We didn't even get a warning, yet here you are acting like the entire thread was nuked. 🙄

steelskipper5 said:David Jones, I only brought up my own example to make one point—that it’s actually possible to react a bit more civilly when someone goes and deletes your favorite thread.

And if you're actually planning on taking a stand against the corrupt system—which, let's face it, is a massive undertaking—you better make sure you're playing it smart. Seriously. Don't just go in swinging blindly. 😁

I truly felt that I was posing my question in a perfectly polite and civilized manner 🤷
it wasn't my intention to stage some grand protest or throw a tantrum over a deleted thread—whether the topic is interesting to people or not, whether we cry when we get penalized or laugh it off—but instead, certain users suddenly pop up out of nowhere with zero clue what's going on, jumping to conclusions that we are the ones at fault. It’s absurd; you have people from the US or random individuals I don't even follow appearing to lodge complaints, claiming I should be commenting on things I don't track and have no idea about, yet I can't even find out because the posts were scrubbed

yet, curiously enough, the posts from the regulars who actually know us—those who wrote posts of support—are always the ones being neatly erased; some even ended up getting penalized just for that.
I was simply looking for clarity 🤷

but honestly, it doesn't even matter anymore

steelskipper5 said:Yeah, and?

A while back, Vojky nuked a thread where I was the only one who lost about 300 posts.
At least some of them were actually useful—I know that because people actually thanked me for them.
Sure, there was plenty of flame wars and whatever else, but I figured (and I still think) he should have just locked the thread instead of deleting it.

He didn't.

Dammit.

I've mentioned it to him here and there—just so he knows I haven't forgotten 😁—but it never really crossed my mind to organize a massive protest like this. Not for me, and certainly not for anyone else on Pik.

Then again, on another forum, people still suspect me of wiping an entire sub-forum (thousands of threads!) out of pure spite after a moderator deleted one massive, whiny thread. Which is funny, since I didn't even have mod privileges at the time—though my old signature still stands as proof of my hacking skills. 🤣

you certainly are an interesting character 😁

Gregory Garcia said:Well, that’s exactly my point. 🙂 From what I can tell—and I say that with some authority since I've been hanging around here for seven years now—you generally have to wreck quite a few threads and then keep up that rude, arrogant attitude even after getting a warning before you see a permanent ban.

I don't know exactly which threads were deleted or how many, but it's pretty obvious there were some, given that the zidić crowd isn't complaining about warnings—which implies they were getting plenty of them well before the bans hit.🤷
That being said, based on how aggressively you're writing here—and look, I get that you're feeling emotional about this, but you aren't helping yourself—someone might actually think the zidić group was collecting warnings like they were trophies. 🤦 Like, "Oh, look at us, look how many red cards we've racked up!" 🤦

Personally, I don't take any pride in a single warning I've received, whether I deserved it or not; to me, a warning feels like a defeat, a sign that I failed to articulate my point properly.🤷

Please, seriously, this whole "personal vendetta from a moderator" explanation is honestly a bit laughable, and like I mentioned, it's really not doing you any favors... I'll say it again: please, just rethink everything. Let's find a real solution instead of this, because it should be clear that with an argument like that, you won't convince anyone, nor will you bring back the zidić crowd... assuming, of course, they haven't done something truly unforgivable, like bringing family into the fray or something along those lines.🙂

Sure, let's find a solution, but I really think you should have directed that specific thought toward that other guy. 🙂

PS,
and lo and behold, the posts aren't being deleted, 🙏 though naturally, the "fanboy" ones are. 🙂
Brilliantly planned. 🙂

PS2,
steelskipper5, I feel for you regarding those 300 posts of yours, but this isn't a thread about you. 🙂

briskbison41 said:Hold on, just give them some time. 😁

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m talking about.
Some people just lean on that stuff purely to boost their popularity on the Forum. They treat those "thumbs up" and "thanks" buttons like they’re some kind of status symbol for their reputation, which, honestly, is totally pointless to me.

And then once they start throwing their weight around with that feature, you’ll eventually see status updates popping up like, "[Username] is highly esteemed by the community."

Precisely, briskbison41. On most forums, it mostly ends up being a tool for sucking up to the moderators—a mod writes "good morning" and suddenly everyone is showering them with thanks. 🤷

I certainly hope the forum administration isn't even considering this option. 🙄

Honestly, I don't even see the point in opening this thread in the first place. 🤷
Quick question in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I am repeating my question to Tyndall because the discussion regarding the criteria has been locked—he likely missed it.

Why is it that on every single thread on PZK concerning the zidić, everyone else's posts are routinely deleted and they are branded as "fanboys," yet on other topics, people are allowed to comment on one another freely? 🤷

Take this most recent example (and there are plenty more)—commenting is permitted even for users who don't even visit the Spirituality section and haven't even seen the original posts.

http://www.reddit.com/showthread.php?t=573084

And in this specific case, we are looking at a debate between users and moderators, which is why those so-called "fanboys" you mentioned weren't deleted. 🤷

Don't just give me some canned response claiming this is accidental—if I wanted to, I could easily find ten different threads across a few pages right now and drop the links here.

Look, don't assume this is mere provocation; I genuinely want to know the reasoning behind this. 😕

And Steven Reed, you've been deleted. 😕

mellowraven22 said:If it isn't one of those two specifically, then we’re looking at someone from their same circle. I can't disclose private PMs or specific usernames, unfortunately.

And even if it wasn't Wilibald or anyone else—it doesn't change the reality of the situation. I've probably had to ban about ten clones of both of them in just the last few hours, and frankly, I have no intention of reconsidering my decision. I didn't revoke access to the PZK using their original usernames because quite honestly, I have zero interest in debating with clones—but if they decide to reach out via their actual accounts, fine, we can talk.

you're wrong; I can say with absolute certainty that neither of those women would ever stoop so low as to send insults via PM, so you should probably realize whose clones are actually sending those messages.🤷

I don't know... why don't you at least tell those two which ten or so clones you've banned in the last few hours?🤷

edit
And while we're at it, why are you deleting other users' posts? On almost every other thread on the PZK, everyone is allowed to comment, but the moment it involves us, suddenly nobody is allowed to say a word.😕

mellowraven22 said:Honestly, I can't believe I have to explain this to an adult—your "friends" who claim they just love to "mess around" have this pathological need to create clone accounts, clutter up other subforums just because they’re bored, and then they feel the need to harass people via private messages (trust me, I've seen some truly nasty stuff in my inbox). This forum isn't a playground for you to act out. (If the insults were at least remotely creative, I wouldn't mind so much, but they're stuck at a middle-school level).

The last time I locked down the sandbox, you all caused a mess, so I genuinely hoped you'd take the hint this time around. After turning a blind eye a hundred times only to see the exact same behavior repeated—well, my patience has its limits. And you just crossed that line with a massive wave of clone accounts, spamming the KzB and PŽK sections, and flooding people with offensive PMs. Frankly, I couldn't care less about the threats or the insults; that kind of behavior is reserved for children and those who act like them.

At this point, I think we've given you more than enough chances to fix your attitude. Since you're either unwilling or unable to change, you haven't really left me with any choice other than handing out month-long bans.

That isn't true; they don't act like that. Can you just provide the usernames or post the screenshots of those PMs?😕

Just show something—I won't have every single bit of nonsense blamed on Zidić, especially when anyone can pretend to be whoever they want here and send PMs whenever they feel like it.
What do you guys think about the criteria? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
As one of the last two remaining actual women from this notorious group, I simply have to demand an answer from mellowraven22: WHY? Why on earth are you turning this forum into a complete joke?

The sheer amount of nonsense, stupidity, and bot-like clones you allow to hang around is staggering. Look, restlessbison25 already told me not to repeat myself, but here we go—it seems someone decided to target a few women who actually enjoy a bit of banter and sarcasm, just so they could drive us away. Apparently, the rules are different for us; we aren't allowed to participate or deal with the clones. Everyone complains when the conversation shifts to the off-topic boards, but no—suddenly, only the women are barred from the off-topic section.
God, you people are honestly pathetic.

Come on, this is a virtual community! Most people come here to have a good time. It’s not as if everyone is interested in just posting pictures of their meals or talking about what they're cooking for dinner all day long. 🤷

hollowtrucker77 said:And how exactly am I supposed to look at things—with more detail??

I asked because your little comment sounded a lot like "I'm just going to go mess around on MK," which—frankly—is exactly what I think you intended to imply.
If "getting involved in discussions" actually means "jumping from one thread to another," then clearly someone here completely misses the entire point of an online forum.

Where on earth am I jumping from thread to thread? 🤷

Look, you can read through all my posts if you want, but I still have to ask—am I really the only person who writes across multiple threads? What is the actual issue there?

P.S.
Just lift this partial ban already. If I ever actually deserve it, I promise I won't say a single word or file a complaint.🙂
