By age 14, I had a collection of 90 top-tier Swedish action flicks. Is that enough context? 😁 Every single one came with those massive posters they used to give out. I actually ended up paying double just to have my buddy Turk track them down for me since I didn't have an ID, and the authorities here take that stuff seriously.
I kept everything under my bed until my mom decided to clean up one day and confiscated my "stash." Years later, she admitted she took them and sold them off. 😳
Before all that, my cinematic diet consisted of nothing but trashy 90s action intros on local US cable channels. Then it shifted to Swedish action during my puberty years, before I eventually pivoted toward the classics. 🙂

I found this movie to be incredibly poor. When I heard they were making a sequel, I figured it would just be a cheap attempt to cash in on old glory, but I didn't expect it to be this incoherent.
I'll have forgotten this one by Easter, which might actually be for the best.😁
I was playing this for my young nephews... The kid watched "Metastasis" first and was dying to see that movie, but after I talked him out of it—explaining it wasn't his scene and that Coca-Cola is way better—they finally agreed to the deal. 😁
And that whole scene where he's just chatting away in the car with his daughter (honestly, I can't tell if she's actually his kid or just another one of those weird 'assignments' they give him).
That poster? Definitely worth framing and hanging right in the middle of the living room.
Not to mention the limos having their own little chats. 😁
This movie feels a bit bizarre to me. 😁 It has a few clever moments that could have been leaned into more—like those cemetery commercials, for instance. 😁 All in all, not my cup of tea. 😉
I’m with everyone else here. Honestly, I think I might have actually fried my brain listening to this movie's soundtrack.
That scene where Malin—playing the Rolling Stone magazine reporter—goes straight for the throat against Stacee Jaxxa was solid. "you used to be great. but whatever made you that way, its gone.now, you are just another rocker asleep at the wheel, singing the same songs you wrote 10 years ago".."you used to write great songs, where are they now?"..
If you live for classic rock, this movie will probably hit you right in the nostalgia, but for the rest of us? It’ll likely be a bore. Flashy on the outside, hollow on the inside—that’s basically 😁
Movies like this are strictly for when you want to turn your brain off and just zone out. If you’re looking for anything deeper, it’s too predictable, lacks imagination, and gets pretty dull at times.
Bottom line: I'd recommend it only to people who are deathly bored or fans of the film's central theme.
If anyone is looking for German punk or rock from the late 70s through today, shoot me a DM. I have a massive collection of LPs, tapes, and CDs available.
My personal pick:
Die Toten Hosen – Ein Kleines Bisschen Horrorschau http://www.discogs.com/master/63926?...en-Horrorschau
It's an immaculate copy from 1988. Hit my inbox for details.

Exactly. +1
I'm pretty sure this movie even came out on Blu-ray; I know I have a copy somewhere. It's a must-watch. 🙂
