🤣 Where on earth did you dig that memory up from... seriously... 🤣
George Barnes25 said:I can't actually watch video links directly—my eyes aren't wired that way—but if you drop the details or give me the gist of what's happening in the clip, I'm all over it. Just let me know what we're looking at, whether it's some wild highlight reel or just a random deep dive, and I'll give you my two cents.

🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey LeBron James, this is absolutely top-tier stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp6qJ7LZNlg
Arthur Hill2 said:Nah, they weren't even there—that photo is actually from the game against Toronto. 🤦

Holy crap, I didn't even realize—as soon as I saw the headline, my brain just went straight to that Miami game. 😂
You see what happens when your eyes just fixate on one tiny corner of the photo—it totally messes with your perspective, I guess. 😁

shadowgardener10 said:What do you guys think about this Chris Paul vs. Paul Wall matchup? I'm leaning toward Paul... though I don't know a ton about the NBA, so I'm just throwing it out there.. 🤷

Well, if your gut is telling you that, maybe you're onto something 🤣

edit: I'm thinking Paul should probably take this one 👍

and then he actually shows up 🤣

honestly, it’s not even surprising that Ruzica and LeBron James missed all four of those shots right at the end 😍

Man, I wouldn't even touch Houston if Al Jefferson wasn't playing... though, honestly, I wouldn't mind getting close to one of those Chicago Bulls fans 😍

If Steve Nash isn't on the court, you definitely gotta put your money on Dallas...

Talk about self-control... I told myself today I’d just stick to playing single games instead of trying to chase every little thing that pops up—you know how it goes—but nope... ended up taking the D-Willa over, and hey, it actually hit. It was at 1.85 odds, which, honestly, feels way ☕ better to me than risking it all on some 3.0 longshot that probably wouldn't have landed anyway...

Duel: Tony Parker vs. Deron Williams—man, that’s one of those matchups that really makes you think about how much the game has changed, I guess. You’ve got two totally different styles of play here, which is always fun to dissect. On one hand, you have Tony Parker, who was just such a wizard with his speed and that crafty little pick-and-roll game—he could slice through defenses like they weren't even there. But then you look at Deron Williams, and he was just this absolute powerhouse, right? A pure floor general who could control the tempo and hit those big shots whenever he felt like it. It’s hard to say who had the edge, honestly... maybe it depends on what kind of rhythm you prefer watching. One's all finesse and quickness, the other is more about sheer command and strength. Tough call, man.
My pick: Deron Williams at 2.0? I don't know, man... maybe. Seems like a decent value if you're looking for a bit of a gamble, I guess.

I mean, I gotta say—I'm actually kind of digging this. 😉
Deron Williams said he’s gonna shoot more now—apparently, he finally realized there isn't anyone else on this roster who can actually finish at the rim—and they're gonna have Jose Calderon looking out for him... yeah, right. If he doesn't drop at least 25, I'll eat my hat.

James Taylor3 said:I was just sitting here watching some highlights, and Marcin Gortat really caught my eye—that 15.5 line looks way too high against a younger Gasol, especially when you consider they're playing a back-to-back on the road. 👍

Porque?

The only guy I noticed alongside Gortat is him—he’s facing Milwaukee, and since Andrew Bogut is out with an injury, they're basically left without a real center. I feel like Andrew Bynum could just walk all over them with his sheer strength and mass, easily exploiting guys like Gooden and whoever else is rotating in there. 🤷

I'm actually weighing the Milwaukee - Lakers game right now and might just take the double—mostly because of how lopsided things look at the center position.

I'm taking the Lakers at 4.5... I honestly don't see how this Milwaukee squad can stop Andrew Bynum, Gasol, McRoberts, and the rest of the crew under the rim, not to mention Kobe... and they're on a back-to-back, too.

Just doing a quick scan of the scores, and honestly, looks like all the favorites pulled through. I was catching the Philly and Charlotte game last night—man, those Bobcats are a total disaster right now, just straight up tragic. I also took a peek at the Boston - Indiana matchup... I mean, Paul Pierce had a wild second half. 🙏

I actually thought that San Antonio game would be a high-scoring affair, but hey, lucky me, I didn't put any money on it. 😁

I mean, yeah... Charlotte is basically bottom of the barrel, and Philly is absolutely killing it at home right now 😲
Paul Pierce 🙏 plays like a beast since Allen left, it's insane... he seems kind of heavy and sluggish sometimes, then suddenly he just catches fire and he's right there at the rim 😁

The odds for the Lakers and Memphis look pretty interesting today 🤔

@James Taylor3/">@@James Taylor3, nice work on those picks 👍

Man, I had a bad feeling about that San Antonio matchup—like, I really thought we could just take them down... but nope 🙂
damn, gotta be smarter today...

Lawrence Castillo76 said:So, looks like we might be sweating the lineup for Friday's game—Martin missed the team shootaround today due to that foot issue, so he’s officially a game-time decision. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he can actually suit up or if we're looking at a late scratch. Fingers crossed, but you know how these things go...

Word on the street is that Martin is battling that nasty plantar fasciitis—though, honestly, this is the first anyone's mentioned him being banged up. If you've got him on your roster, you’re probably going to want to keep a close eye on the updates right before tipoff, just to be safe. I mean, the guy has been absolutely rolling for his owners all season long—it's been wild. He's putting up about 20.1 points a night, knocking down 2.2 threes, and he's been shooting a ridiculous 93.5 percent from the charity stripe. Just unreal.

I'm staying far away from the action tonight—not touching any of it.

Yeah, I'm skipping it too. 👍
Anyone interested? Here's the link.
The latest from the Houston Chronicle says Kevin Martin is sidelined—looks like he’s out until at least Jan 31st. Man, that's a massive blow for the Rockets, especially since Martin has been absolutely rolling for his fantasy owners all season. It's one of those things where you just hope the bench can step up, but losing a guy on a heater like him is always a gut punch. Hopefully, they can find some production elsewhere while he recovers.

Well, I guess we'll just see how things shake out then.

Chicago
Portland
Philly -15.5—man, that is a massive spread. I guess we'll see if they can actually cover that kind of number, but honestly, it feels like a bit of a stretch.
San Antonio

Man, I am seriously getting screwed by these Spurs guys—they just bumped Martin up to 22.5... it was sitting at 20.5 when I checked this morning... and here I am, being a total idiot and not placing my bet earlier in the day before everything changed. 🙂

Nicholas Chase34 said:@ Keith Moore21 I'll drop my player picks a bit later, just some leans for now:
Martin over 20.5

I jumped on Martin immediately—I mean, Houston really shouldn't just steamroll Washington, especially since they've been looking pretty decent lately, at least offensively. Their defense is still a total mess, though, so I'm thinking Martin should see some decent minutes here...

Eric Fox7 said:Yeah, honestly—I don't get why they’re only doing breakdowns for just 7 games 🤔

They’ve started messing around like the Lottery 🙄

It was like this before too, really—they’re just incapable of figuring it out themselves, so they sit around waiting for Americans to wake up and drop their analysis. Basically, they wait for the foreign betting shops to set the whole spread and then our guys just copy them word for word 🙄

edit: alright, @Play said everything that needed saying...

Man, the lines today are actually pretty decent 😁
@Play, I'm expecting at least one winning pick from you—maybe some player over/under ☕

Keith Moore21 said:I feel like Chris Bosh could easily go over again today (21.5 at SS)

Keith Moore21 said:Kevin Martin over 21.5 (SS)

Both of them should hit easy ☕

but man, Philly and Utah totally screwed us 🙂
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
I’m really crossing my fingers that Miami doesn't just absolutely steamroll Detroit tonight—and honestly, I'm hoping Chris Bosh stays well clear of the 21-point mark 😬

Arthur Hill2 said:Kevin Durant at 1'75" in a matchup against Carmelo Anthony—thoughts? 🙂

I mean, I think he should probably go for it. Carmelo saw yesterday what happens when you just let an offense get rolling and find its rhythm, so I doubt he’s gonna try to force things again tonight. Plus, they might just sit out the fourth quarter again... 🤷

Good catch there... if I remember right, Carmelo's dealing with some minor hand injury too, and honestly, he probably won't push it tonight if his shot isn't falling, I guess. 😕
As for Durantula, he should be able to drop like 20 points without breaking a sweat, though he probably won't see much playing time given who they're up against...
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Nicholas Chase34 said:I'm down with that pick 👍

Just a quick heads-up—when you're digging through the stats on Basketball-Reference, if you're trying to figure out how much a team actually sucks or excels at defending a specific position, keep in mind they usually factor in both the starters and the guys coming off the bench. But honestly, I guess even just looking at the raw number can give you a pretty decent idea of how solid their defense really is. 😉

😉

still think the proc should 😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Kevin Martin over 21.5 (SS)

The guy is absolutely cooking right now—his coach basically told him if he starts locking in on defense, he’s gonna get a much bigger green light on offense, and honestly? I think he’s actually listening. 😁
The Milwaukee Bucks have been pretty shaky on the road lately, their defense is just kind of... meh, if you know what I mean. Plus, Martin is playing tomorrow and his confidence is through the roof. It reminds me of last year when he went on that massive tear and dropped 25+ points a bunch of times—I remember riding that wave constantly because the sportsbooks kept setting these exact kinds of lines... feels like a solid play to me.
