Man, just give the kid Henderson—he’s straight up dropping 15 easy 🙂 6-14 shooting, 3-4 from deep... I mean, how do you miss that one extra shot? Seriously, damn it 🙂
The way that guy absolutely wrecked him during that second quarter dunk—honestly, it’s no wonder he split those free throws, which would’ve been just enough to hit the over 🙂
Bosh basically carried Miami here 🙏 LeBron was nowhere to be found again in the fourth 🙄
I think Bosh could easily go over again today (looking at 21.5 points in the spread), he’s looking sharp—playing way more physical than he used to, which is why he’s getting so many trips to the line, plus he’s actually started hitting the three lately... and they’re facing Detroit, who are absolute trash at defending the paint. They're easily among the bottom five teams when it comes to points allowed in the key, especially against big men or those hybrid forwards—and specifically that PF spot Bosh plays, which is where they get shredded most, averaging about 25 points conceded there, making them some of the worst in the league... Miami isn't exactly playing out of their minds either, so I don't see them totally blowing Detroit out, which means Bosh should see plenty of minutes
I won't have enough time to sit down and write up a full-blown analysis, so I’ll just drop my main pick for today right here... Henderson over 15.5 points (Charlotte vs. New York)
It's been confirmed that the home team's starting point guard, Augustin, is sitting this one out—so, uh, given we’ve got an incredible rookie like Walker stepping in to fill those shoes, I really think we should look at Henderson... I mean, the New York squad has one of the absolute worst defenses out there right now, especially when it comes to guarding the perimeter where they just give up way too many shots (they're giving up over 60 points from outside the paint on average). I'm expecting a high-scoring affair, and honestly, I think Henderson could clear this line pretty easily...
Honestly, stay far away from Portland today—they’re absolutely brutal on back-to-backs (the Trail Blazers have gone 0-4 against the spread in their last four games played on zero days of rest). 🤷 You could see how bad it was during that mess against Detroit. I’d rather take an alternative play like what wiredcanyon39 suggested HT/FT 2/1 or maybe X @ 15 . At first glance: Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magicunder 183.5
Over at SS, the line is sitting at 181.5 🙂
Maybe Granger over 17.5? Orlando’s been pretty shaky defending the perimeter lately, and he’s kind of found his rhythm recently... 🤷 And maybe Henderson over 15.5... I'm guessing Augustin might be out, which would mean more touches for Henderson. New York has one of the worst defenses in the league right now—especially when it comes to guarding the arc, they're basically bottom-tier in that department...
I mean, hopefully they don't—Memphis really needs to finally just fold, honestly. They were right on the verge yesterday, but then they went out and played this absolutely insane fourth quarter where they somehow dropped 39 points...
Bradley Kern6 said:Are we actually feeling confident about Portland? I don't know, man—I guess I’m just skeptical. Maybe I'm being too cautious, but I've got my doubts. Man, Memphis is absolutely rolling right now—seven straight wins in the bag. Honestly, I don't know how they're doing it, but they're on an absolute tear. ☕
Look, they’ve gotta land somewhere—it’s inevitable at this point—and honestly, where else are they going to find a better shot than right near Portland? I mean, if you're looking for an opening, that's pretty much the sweet spot. 😁
wiredcanyon39 said:😁 So, looking at the matchup between the Pacers and Portland... man, I don't know. It’s one of those games where you kind of want to look away but can't quite manage it—you know what I mean? Maybe the Pacers have the edge if they actually decide to show up and play some real defense, but honestly, it feels like anyone could take this if the momentum swings the right way. Just one of those unpredictable nights, I guess. 😕
See? I told you—we’re totally on the same wavelength already. We just clicked. ☕
@wiredcanyon39/">@@wiredcanyon39—hey, you wanna help me put together another one of those betting slips? 🤔 Man, I seriously can't catch a break here... I mean, have you seen the absolute nonsense going on lately? It's just pure chaos. 🤣 😢
I’ve played Orlando twice this season—once when they were absolutely lights out from deep, and once when they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn... and I guess somehow I managed to pick those exact two games to play them. Talk about bad luck, right? 🙂 🙂 Seriously though, what was that disaster against the old folks' home in Boston yesterday? Honestly, most of the guys on this forum could probably drop more points than that—good grief. 😕
@Nicholas Chase34/">@@Nicholas Chase34 nice job with Martin vs. Westbrick 👍
Nicholas Chase34 said:I mean, honestly? Russell Westbrook. Man, what can you even say at this point? I guess we’re just living in that reality now—where his whole style of play is basically its own chaotic ecosystem. It’s wild, really—how he can go from being the most electric, high-octane force on the court to looking like he’s fighting against the very flow of the game itself. Maybe it’s just how he’s built, though—that relentless, almost exhausting intensity—but sometimes it feels like he’s playing a completely different sport than everyone else out there. Just my two cents, anyway. 1 @ 1,85
I’m feeling this one—definitely grabbing it. 👍 I'm putting my money on Orlando... damn, they already dropped the odds. 🙂
Bryan Adams6 said:I don't know if it’s just a coincidence, but I had Miami on my little slip too 🙂
Come on, man, quit messing around—actually sit down, study the odds, and give me at least five solid winners 😉
Or, hey, if it makes it any easier for you, I already picked my own set, so maybe try to avoid what I chose 😍
Why didn't you lead with that?! Now I totally get why Miami blew it 🤣
I’ll dive into the matchups a bit later, once everyone in the States wakes up and our local bookies actually bother to post the lines for all the games 😬 But honestly, your ticket isn't half bad—I just think I’d definitely play Orlando, especially if Ronda and Allen end up sitting out, but we'll have to wait and see... got some fresh intel from last night...
Man, our local guys are honestly such a joke—they haven't even finished setting up their full NBA coverage yet. Like, why are they so incompetent that they can't even handle this stuff on their own? 🤦 I'm just sitting here waiting to see if they'll actually put out a spread for Miami... maybe then someone will finally write an actual analysis. 🙂
Honestly, screw these pathetic teams—they finally decide to show up just because they’re playing Oklahoma City, Portland, and whoever else is bottom-feeding right now... I mean, of course Stuckey plays out of his mind and drops nearly 30 points against them, it's almost too predictable 🙂 🙂
Man, the Atlanta Hawks are just completely useless—they scored barely anything more in the entire second half than they did in the first quarter 🤦 and even with the head coach playing him for 12.5 minutes, he still falls off 🙂
wiredcanyon39 said:What’s the word on Derrick Rose and Chris Paul? I’m stuck on my phone right now so I can't really dig for the updates myself—anybody got the scoop? 😁
From what I’ve been reading, both of them are basically game-time decisions... though honestly, the odds of them actually stepping on the court are slim to none—especially when it comes to Derrick Rose. But hey, what can you do? Just gotta play it smart, I guess. 🤷
I’m personally putting my money on Portland Trail Blazers and Denver—honestly, I don't see how anyone could even dream of taking them down.
Portland Trail Blazers vs Denver Nuggets... Maybe eventually Chicago or the Clippers too, especially if they’ve got Chris Paul and Derrick Rose playing, obviously...
wiredcanyon39 said:Man, who actually pulled it off yesterday? Huge props to the three absolute worst teams in the league—the Nets, the Wizards, and the Suns. I mean, the Suns have the most pathetic paint defense I've ever seen, yet they somehow pull off this miracle comeback against Sacramento. Then you've got the Clippers taking down the Mavs without Paul... honestly, what can I even say? Yesterday was easily the craziest, most nonsensical night since the NBA season kicked off.
signature ☕
Holy hell, give me a break... those results are just straight-up nonsense. If Washington actually beats Oklahoma City, I’m officially retiring from this whole thing, man. 🙂 But then you look at Denver absolutely destroying everyone, and I didn't even have the guts to put any money on them... 🙂
So, from what I’ve been reading, it looks like Paul might be sitting this one out against the Clippers tonight... anyone got the inside scoop on that?! Because if he’s out, I honestly think getting Dallas at +105—or whatever the line settles at—is massive value... I mean, Dallas is coming off a rest day, while the Clippers are playing their third game in three days... You could tell they were looking a little gassed during yesterday's matchup against the Jazz, plus they’ve been dealing with all that travel (first home, then an away stint, now back home again)... For Dallas, Carter is out, but I don't see that being a huge deal since we've got West and Terry ready to step up at that spot, and I feel like Marion and Odom should have the edge over Butler. Plus, Griffin is probably going to struggle guarding Nowitzki, and Jordan will likely end up battling Haywood and Mahinmi in the paint—actually, maybe even more so with that other guy since he's a bit more explosive and bouncy, so he might actually handle Jordan better than expected...
