Denver vs Utah

Pick: Denver -9.5

Denver is just a much deeper, more talented squad than Utah—even if Utah did catch everyone off guard with how they started the season. That said, they aren't exactly convincing on the road, and facing an elite home team like the Nuggets on a back-to-back? Yeah, that's a tall order. Denver’s perimeter game is way ahead of the visitors here. I mean, Lawson, Afflallo, Fernandez-Galinari, and the rest of that crew are just too much for the Jazz players at those spots, and I don't see how Utah makes up that gap. At the 4 and 5 positions, the talent is pretty much even, especially now that Mozgov has finally found his rhythm. I think Denver cruises through this one—especially considering they blew them out 117-100 just two weeks ago, leading by as many as 27.

I'm riding with this pick and pairing it with the Spurs (just a standard parlay)... nothing crazy on the slate today, so figured I'd throw something out there for some low-stakes action... ☕

stormyseal9 said:Exactly—if you look at the last eight games, he’s had four outings over 40 points, three where he cleared 30, plus a bunch of buckets... honestly, his only two real stumbles this season were against the Nuggets when they were running on back-to-backs and shooting a miserable 12/46, and then just playing like his usual self, I guess 😍. It's such a bummer the rest of the squad isn't really keeping pace with him 🤷. Bynum started the season looking pretty solid, but he seems to have lost his way, and Gasol? Man, he just isn't the same player he used to be 🤷.

And in all those 40+ point games, his field goal percentage is hovering around 50%, which isn't actually half bad 😁.
Honestly, I don't think it's even about Gasol or the big men under the hoop—it's the perimeter shooting that's killing them. Aside from Kobe, they don't have anyone who can consistently drop, say, 15 buckets a night... I mean, Kapono, Barnes, Artest... give me a break. They're mostly veteran guys brought in for some defense (well, Kapono maybe not even that much), but offensively? They're super limited. Sure, they might catch fire for a minute here and there, but overall, it's pretty weak... And if you ask me, the biggest issue is they lack a real playmaker. Fisher is getting old and just can't hack it anymore, especially on the defensive end, and Blake is more focused on hunting his own shot than setting people up—plus, he's not exactly a lights-out shooter himself. I don't get why they didn't grab someone like Billups, you know? They could've pulled the trigger before the Clippers really became a threat. Yeah, he's got some miles on him, but he's got Kobe, and there aren't many years left to go all-in for another ring. Even Gasol is hitting that 30-year mark, so they really could have taken the gamble and pushed for a title this season... with this current roster, though? They don't stand a chance...

it's all in the rearview now ☕
Gregory Cooper5 said:as for Kobe, I mean, that line might even push past 33.5... just because he had two solid games doesn't mean we're riding the over forever...

come on, man... "two"? the guy dropped 40+ four games in a row 😉

Keith Moore21 said:Atlanta, Philly, Dallas, Oklahoma...

The first two just scraped by—Atlanta barely made it, but hey, I guess luck was on our side for a second there.😁
The other two are absolutely tearing through their opponents with like a 25-30 point cushion—Oklahoma in the final stretch, and Dallas pulling away by halftime... Honestly, it shouldn't be much of an issue...
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Atlanta, Philly, Dallas, OKC...

Atlanta’s taking Minnesota at home—and honestly, Minnesota looks pretty banged up without Barea and Beasley. They played yesterday too, so their starters definitely clocked some heavy minutes—some even pushed past the 40-minute mark—so Atlanta should be much more rested and stronger here. Even though they're missing Horford, I’m guessing Marvin Williams might step back into the rotation...
Philly against Washington? Man, I mean, what is there even to say about that one?!
Dallas is hosting Sacramento, who will likely be shorthanded without Cousins and Thornton. Plus, the Mavs were being smart yesterday and sat their main guys during the last quarter to save some gas...
OKC is at home against New York, and the Knicks are going to be without Carmelo. The Thunder have had two full days to rest up, too...

Look, I get it, the odds aren't exactly huge, but I really feel like these should all hit...

Keith Moore21 said:So, he ended up playing Dallas, the Lakers, and Indiana twice—basically a total gauntlet, I guess. ☕

🙂

Man, I didn't get around to dropping my breakdown for Indiana and the last game—again. My bad. 🤣

I mean, honestly... I guess we're just talking about Kobe now? It’s kind of wild to think about—like, how much he actually changed the entire landscape of the league. Just a legend, really. There isn't anyone else quite like him, you know? 🙏 Man, what a hit from Miller—seriously, that guy just absolutely shreds those guys playing with that slicked-back hair look. I mean, hats off to him, truly... he’s just on another level.

And man, that one hit at 1.7 odds too... I mean, how do they keep wrecking everyone's parlays like this? It's actually wild.🙄
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
The odds for Indiana just took a dip in the SS app—went from 1.65 down to 1.55... I guess people are really starting to pile in on them.

Terry Cook48 said:Just checking in... I reached out to them around 2 PM and basically got told that their bookmakers set the odds and the limits based on a ton of different factors...

so I told them they should just offer standard lines like DraftKings would, but apparently—get this—they said that wouldn't be profitable enough for them...🙂

After that, I just stopped typing because I realized there was no point trying to explain things to them... it's like talking to a brick wall. 🤣

🤦

I mean, obviously I’m talking about the sportsbook here, not you 😁

@boldgull20 yeah, it doesn't work for higher stakes, that much is clear—especially considering that last point you made...

Anyway, ended up putting some action on the Mavericks, Lakers, and Pacers to cover the spread. ☕

Eric Fox7 said:They dropped Kobe's under to @ 5.80 🤣

Has anyone actually tried emailing them about this brain-dead offer yet?

🤣 🤣

Man, I’d love to meet whoever actually had the mental capacity to put that offer together—it’s honestly fascinating 🙄
I mean, seriously, first time I've ever seen lines and coefficients set up like that...

fadedraven16 said:So, I'm thinking about putting some real skin in the game here—looking to take the Washington under 85.5 and our guys for the under 14.5... if anyone's got any thoughts or wants to weigh in, I’d definitely appreciate the insight. 😉

boldgull20 said:Man, looking at those last four Philly-Wash matchups... honestly? It’s getting a little sketchy. I mean, if you look closely, there's some seriously heavy betting action happening—like, suspicious levels of money moving right before tip-off. I’m just saying, maybe keep an eye out and watch your back with these ones. It feels a bit too much like they're playing for something other than the scoreboard, if you catch my drift. Just a heads-up to stay cautious.

I’d probably lean toward the under along with Washington's guys—honestly, Philly just isn't looking like the same squad they were last season. Their defense has tightened up big time this year, especially when they're playing at home, and if you actually bother to look at the stats from their recent stretch—including that last road game against New York—it's pretty obvious. On the flip side, Washington is kind of a mess right now; they struggle to find any rhythm offensively and don't really rack up many buckets, so an under feels plausible here. I'm not saying go all-in and bet the house on it or anything—nothing's a sure thing—but in my book, the under feels way more realistic than chasing the over.

Wait, hold up—why the hell is Indiana sitting at 1.65?! 😲 I mean, looks like we aren't getting Bargnanin in Toronto after all—at least that’s what the rumors are saying, anyway...
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
to tsigi, man, that's perfect... looking at the lines, we've got the under at 2 and the over sitting at 1.7... which basically means your pick hits all on its own ☕
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Yeah, for sure—thanks for the help, I guess ☕
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Yesterday was an absolute heater—all my top picks hit, so if you happened to stack some extra cash on the Miami Heat... well, congrats. Today’s slate looks pretty loaded too, tons of matchups to dive into 🙂
@wiredcanyon39/">@@wiredcanyon39, don't even start with me—you're probably guessing, so just give me a shout when you're actually feeling 100% confident ☕

The total points line for the LA Lakers vs. Phoenix game is sitting at 189.5 in the spread... I just pulled up the stats on the betting site and noticed that over the last 20 matchups, from 2008 all the way to now, every single one of those 20 games has smashed that number... 😲
So, naturally, they’re probably gonna screw us over today and go under🤷

🙂

Man, there are so many solid matchups on the slate today—Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks... honestly, I could probably throw a parlay involving any of them 🙂

But yeah, I'm probably skipping the Spurs for today—Chris Blair and Tony Parker are looking pretty questionable with those injuries, and obviously we're missing Manu Ginobili too...

If I had to pick, the two big ones to watch today are definitely Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls...
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Philadelphia
Chicago... man, where do I even start with them? It's a wild ride, honestly. Sometimes you feel like they're absolutely cooking, and then—boom—everything just falls apart in the most frustrating way possible. It’s that classic, rollercoaster energy that keeps you hooked even when you want to throw your remote at the TV. Just one of those teams that keeps you guessing, I guess.

Washington totally blew that first leg, but they managed to bounce back by hitting the over on the Lakers and Portland, so I ended up in the green after all 😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
I don't even know where to start with this one—it’s just... yeah. I guess we’re really doing this? Honestly, I'm sitting here staring at the screen trying to make sense of the sheer chaos of it all. It feels like we're just spinning our wheels at this point, maybe even more than usual, if that’s even possible. I mean, look, I’m not saying I have all the answers—far from it—but there’s just something about the way everything is unfolding right now that feels incredibly off. It’s like watching a slow-motion train wreck where you almost want to look away, but you can't because, well, it's happening. Just a weird, messy situation all around, I suppose. kaže:
So, you think you can just follow me around? I guess you really want to keep tabs on everything I'm doing, huh? Maybe you're just obsessed—I don't know, honestly. 😬

Yeah, and let's not forget OKC is sitting at 0-3 against them from last season—so you know they’re definitely going to be looking for some serious payback this time around. 🙂

Man, after getting absolutely burned by that Catsim situation the other night—seriously, what a disaster—I’m feeling pretty cautious. If I were you, I'd probably play it safe and grab the X bet, or honestly, even better, just go with the H +2.5. Better to be safe than sorry, I guess.

I mean, who else are you gonna go with? Seriously. 😬 I’m probably gonna take that handicap on Washington...
I don't know what to tell you, man—it just feels like we're circling the drain sometimes. I guess I’m just being cynical, maybe? But looking at how things are moving, it’s hard not to feel that way. It's one of those situations where you want to be optimistic, really you do, but the math just isn't adding up the way everyone wants it to. Anyway, just my two cents... nothing much to it. kaže:
If it helps anyone at all—and I mean, if this actually matters to anyone—the Wizards have straight up crushed Minnesota at home seven times in a row now.🤷I mean, I think the Spurs might actually end up 6-0 against OKC—though, obviously, that’s just me talking and nothing is set in stone. But you gotta look at the context here, right? Like, Kevin Durant hasn't really been playing at that elite level we all grew up expecting lately... he's actually sat through five unders in a row after that initial run of four overs. It’s a bit weird. Maybe Russell Westbrook can step up and pull them through, I guess.🤷

Thanks! 😉

Played out.

Washington +2.5 Portland Lakers
Portland? Man, I don't know... I guess if you're looking for that specific vibe, maybe. It’s one of those places where you either totally get it or you just don't—kind of like how people feel about certain players on the court, I suppose. Just a weirdly specific energy, you know?
Man, I don't know about this Lakers situation... just feels like we're constantly spinning our wheels, you know? Like, one night everything looks okay and then the next, it’s just total chaos on the court. I guess I'm just being cynical at this point—it's hard not to be when you've seen this cycle repeat so many times. It’s frustrating, honestly. Just one of those things where you want to stay optimistic, but the math just isn't adding up lately.
