That used to be the case. Now I can't even get into Safe Mode. It just hangs at 99% during startup, every single time.

Got a situation with my laptop. For a while, it would only boot in Safe Mode, but after I ran a disk check to fix things up, it actually worked fine for about a month. Then, over the last ten days, it just completely died on me. I managed to get it to power on twice, but both times it shut down within a minute. Usually, you can hear the fan spinning up at first, then the screen just goes black—the machine seems to be running in the background, but nothing happens no matter how long I wait. Any idea what's going on? Is this a CPU issue, some other hardware failure, or maybe just a nasty virus? Thanks in advance

I’m honestly curious to see how James Harden handles things tonight when he runs into an elite defender who's camping out solely on him. I'm expecting some heavy flops and shooting efficiency similar to Westbrook. ☕
As for Dwight Howard, without Andrew Bogut in the lineup, this should be a one-way street in the matchup between Dwight Howard and the rest of the Golden State Warriors frontcourt.

I'd also add Kevin Durant under 26.5 @1.85 just because the margin still feels way too high. Durant has dropped his shot attempts by about 4 compared to last season, and he's spending way more energy crashing boards on defense, while on offense he's either passing more or just chucking them into the well trying to force it. A blowout is also definitely on the table.

Just reading this now and it's basically identical to what I posted on SPAT; I'm totally down with that bet. 👍

Also, another solid play looks like: Kevin Durant-LeBron James duel 2 @1.95. Since Dwyane Wade probably isn't playing tonight, LBJ is going to have to carry even more weight, and Chris Bosh will be well-guarded.

Look, both Davis and Rivers are playing tonight, and Henderson actually started the season strong, so his absence is huge. Calling something a "guaranteed win" is just plain stupid (Joshua Garcia8, don't take this personally, it's just the truth—you can't just say something is a "sure thing" without explaining why).
Same goes for this—calling the odds a "gift" isn't how this works; you need to provide actual reasoning. Not to mention, Orlando's perimeter shooting is solid and their defense isn't a disaster either. I’m just looking at suggesting the Orlando Magic at +4.60 tonight. Honestly, it's a must-take. Orlando started the season strong and really caught me off guard—they absolutely dismantled the Phoenix Suns in the second half. On the other hand, the Chicago Bulls look lost. I didn't catch them when they got shredded by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but their performances against the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings were pretty mediocre. They lost Derrick Rose, plus Korver and Miles Plumlee are gone... even with Kirk Hinrich coming in, this roster looks too weak to pass up at +4.60 for the visitors.

Personally, I’m looking at the Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks game going under. Without Andrew Bynum in the mix, the Knicks feel way stronger than Philly, though if the Knicks get stuck in a three-point shooting slump, it could be a close one—even without a massive scoring night.
Memphis Grizzlies are a lock; I wouldn't touch the spread, it'll probably land right around there. I’m staying away from the Cleveland Cavaliers against the spread too, even though it looks tempting. They absolutely crushed me against the Chicago Bulls recently... a 30-point blowout, honestly wtf. For the Brooklyn Nets vs Minnesota Timberwolves game, I'll take the Brooklyn Nets in the spread. They didn't play great last time and lost to a decent Toronto Raptors team that's twice as good as last year. This Minnesota squad looks weak; maybe Roy Hibbert or Peja Peković could step up if they catch fire, but otherwise, I don't see it. Andrei Kirilenko isn't really stepping into that leader role, so I doubt he can carry them tonight. Plus, they lost to that same Toronto team by 20, so the writing is on the wall.

In my opinion, Aldridge played a great game against the Lakers; his shooting was smooth as usual, and Hickson handled most of the rebounding duty.

Look, I just used that stat to back up my bet, and look, Duncan dropped 20. Aldridge should be doing the same since he takes way more shots than Duncan.
He's having a good game against the Lakers, sure. But as Portland's best player, you expect big performances every night, right? Shooting under 50% without contributing elsewhere—rebounds, assists, blocks—can't really be called a "great" game.

Regarding the fouls, I was just going off what I remembered from watching him against tougher matchups. I actually checked the stats now, and 2.71 fouls puts him 13th among all PFs, so he's not even among the high foul leaders. Honestly, I just pulled that number out of thin air, so my bad if it was misleading.

Checking out the Nuggets and the Cavs lately... and honestly, I can't even be surprised.

I'd lean toward the under rather than the over. Monta Ellis isn't exactly a defensive powerhouse in the playoffs, but let's be real—Rajon Rondo isn't looking to shoot much anyway. Plus, facing that Milwaukee Bucks defense tonight, they're definitely going to lock down both Chris Lee and Paul Pierce, so Rondo probably won't even get many looks at the rim. Still, if you like the number, I'd say go for it!

-The Milwaukee Bucks had one of the worst defenses in the league last year when it came to stopping scoring from the small forward position. Pierce got off to a solid start against the Miami Heat with 23 points, but obviously, he had to deal with Lebron James and Shane Battier—defensive stalwarts who are a massive step up from whoever the Milwaukee Bucks players will be tasked with guarding tonight. I’m expecting a high-scoring affair, so we'll likely see more player overs than unders.

Al Jefferson over 17,5 @1,85
-Al had a rough start to the season against the Dallas Mavericks, but I'm expecting a big bounce-back tonight. With Davis likely guarding Millsap, Jefferson should have a slightly easier ride. Given that the New Orleans Pelicans were struggling with paint protection and center defense last year, and they've now lost Kaman, this could easily be a game where both Al and Paul crack the 20-point mark.

-Lamarcus didn't look amazing last game—19 points with only 3 rebounds, and he barely even got to the free throw line. The Lakers guarded him well, but tonight he runs into Ibaka, who wasn't exactly a defensive rock last season. Plus, Oklahoma City Thunder were among the five worst teams at defending the power forward spot, and it's worth noting Ibaka tends to pick up a lot of fouls. Batum stood out against the Lakers, but facing Durant tonight will be a different story, so I expect Aldridge to carry the load. Worth a shot; just hoping OKC doesn't run away with it early and force him to the bench.

Dwight Howard over 21,5 @1,85
-Dwight has put up 19 and 33 points so far. In that 19-point game against Dallas, he ran into foul trouble and had to sit early with 6 fouls. That shouldn't be an issue tonight since he's matched up against DeAndre Jordan, who isn't much of a threat to his offensive rhythm or foul situation (unlike someone like Tyson Chandler). He should get plenty of trips to the charity stripe, and I think he'll deliver better than he did against Dallas, where he went 3/14.🙂

-Rudy looked good opening with 25 points against the LA Clippers. He should be the primary scoring option tonight because Bogut is slated to guard Gasol, which might take some pressure off. Besides, the Golden State Warriors' defense was pretty thin at the small forward position last season, ranking among the bottom three teams for points allowed to SFs. Let's give it a go and see what happens.

If the Bulls lock down Irving, they should walk away with the win. Their roster is deeper, and even without their main guy, Rose, they know how to handle the pressure.

The Warriors have struggled big time since that trade with the Bucks last year. They’re a young squad that might surprise someone, but making the Playoffs this year looks like a long shot. Memphis has the better lineup, and after that loss to the Clippers, they’re due for a win. The stats back it up too.

Minnesota vs. Sacramento 2
I'm leaning toward Sacramento's young talent here. Minnesota is missing two of their biggest stars. Sacramento lost a close one to Chicago in their opener, but they looked solid in the preseason, so they've got what it takes.

Rondo Over 16.5 Under
Rondo started the season strong with 20 against the Heat, and he usually clears this line when playing them, but facing the Bucks today makes me want to take the under. He was consistently under this number last year, so I'm hoping he focuses more on playmaking than scoring tonight.

Feels like OKC is basically a public bet at this point, so I’m just hitting the over on Westbrook tonight. Their perimeter defense is a joke against San Antonio, plus we're looking at a high-scoring game—probably around 200 total. I also don't see Durant clearing 30 with a defender like Leonard breathing down his neck, so RW should definitely cash.

Regarding those SPAT parlays, I’d throw in an over on Gasol for 17.5 points at +100 odds. With Dirk and Komani out, the Mavs look weak inside tonight. Kobe probably won't see much floor time either, and while Dwight brings the defense, he isn't much of a scorer—plus, Nash isn't exactly a sharpshooter.
